Sunnyside Medical Cannabis Dispensary Pittsburgh – Penn Ave

This was my first and last visit to to CY+ dispensary in Pittsburgh. The "300mg" disposable vape pen I purchased was half empty and didn't even work, so its useless. I have never had a problem with the Rythm disposables from other dispensaries who sold them cheaper.

Pricing is higher than every local dispensary, probably because of location. Had a couple people who work there, they probably shouldn't work anywhere, let alone in customer service. If you need something quick...maybe it's worth it, but I'll drive 10 minutes down the road to Lawrenceville, or heck, even up to Cranberry where pricing is soooo much better, especially if your Veteran.

Bought a vessel pen that has a warranty issue. Purchased on 12/31. Tried to use it on 1/7. Took forever to charge. Discharged in 2 min. Called Sunnyside. Has to go back to vessel. They only Return Cresco. If you are going to spend some dough on accessories, I suggest you do it elsewhere.

As a newbie the staff took the time to explain my options & even double check my current medications for possible interactions. The products are quality & uber effective. The staff is knowledgeable & helpful. This is definitely my new favorite place.

The staff will straight up lie to you about their hours. I’ve called here on more than occasion to confirm I could pick up at a certain time and then been turned away once i got there. They don’t have their own lot so it’s street parking. Once you break your back to get there and actually find parking you’ll be disappointed further as security turns you away before their actual closing time. If you can get in here it’s decent selection. The only thing propping this place up is that there aren’t competitors close enough South of Pittsburgh. So you just accept the bad company or have to go without. The next closest for me is Ethos in Bethel Park. Outstanding service if you’re local!

CY Pittsburgh was the first dispensary I tried when I got my medical card a few years ago. I’ve been shopping there regularly, but today was not a good experience. I placed my order for their stock up and save” sale after closing yesterday to pick up today, as I do routinely with their sales, but was denied the advertised discount at pickup. This has never happened before, and while the team was very kind, there was no resolution whatsoever. Illness is expensive, and to offer discounts without CLEARLY stating the parameters is misleading. The staff agreed and even stated that others had been in to pick up their orders today expecting a certain budgeted price, but we’re told the discount was not applicable. People who are dealing with chronic illness have enough to advocate for, this issue should not be one of them.

Great selection, especially of accessories! The process getting in is kind of complicated and parking is difficult but it's the strip and that's how it be so I get it. Overall, staff was very helpful and informative!

I went in only wanting to get a disposable and when I mentioned to the person assisting me (Christi) that I had a liking for the brand she got me the best deals on a new pen that suits my needs. She also was just a super knowledgeable person and wanted the best for the patient. But shouts out to my homie Christi

Excellent dispensary!! What a great experience! I've been to quite a few other dispos, and this is my favorite. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful! As a first timer here, I was made to feel so welcomed. I didn't have to tell them I was a veteran to get my discount; they must have something in my slip after the entry portal to ID me as a newby at this location bc after getting inside I was guided thru the process without being made to feel like an inconvenience and they all answered all of my questions. Great menu is an added bonus. I'm sad that I live 2.5 hrs away bc this would be my go to dispensary and will be when I'm in Pittsburgh!

First time there and everyone was super friendly and helpful. This will be my go to from now on!
