MedMen - Fifth Avenue

Poorly managed location which resulted in my purchase being rejected by the very rude manager, Daniel. Unable to work their own systems to register me. Not knowledgeable about the products. Unable to give solid feedback about products. Clueless on how to read the certificate. Unprofessional staff that loitered in the space instead of working on helping the last few customers/patients in the store. Last but NOT least, Employees shouldn't be asking customers/patients how to get a medicinal marijuana license...

Uhfff, absolute money grabbing nightmare. The insanely expensive, half-filled vape pens that they couldn’t care less about labeling break before their short lifespans are up. The staff are fine but this is a cynical racket making hay while the sun shines, that is— ripping off patients because they’re one of the only dispensaries in town.

Last week was my first time visiting this medical dispensary. I love the location, it's easily accessible to NYC MTA's public transportation both trains and buses. They have the best prices! Yes! This dispensary beats ALL the other dispensaries prices here in the State of New York. Love the staff! Great customer service. I noticed this dispensary understands the meaning of inclusion and diversity! They get an extra AAA+ for hiring the most diverse ethnic population and people of color, they hire women equally to men ratio!!! I purchased a HIGH CBD drops 30ml paid $53.00 fantastic! However, the product could use a little more enhancement. Meaning although the texture of this oil great, its light not heavy or too thick it could use more CBD. This cannabis oil is also missing color it has no trace of chlorophyll. The verdict is still out as far as quality. To be very fair, I have to purchase other products from their menu first before giving them a rating on quality. I can't wait to see what MedMen will bring to the table when New York States goes legal for recreational cannabis and or "Adult Use 21+" #LegalizeItNEWYORK !!!

I think this place is exactly what we need right now anything you get in New York is shitty the least you can ask for is quality service and that’s just what I received. Walking in was like I walked into the bank of weed, now don’t get me wrong until Cuomo gets his act together we’re not gonna have the cheapest best quality goods at this store but all the workers knowledge on weed goes Far beyond what they have in the store. Like every article says it’s like walking into the Apple store of weed

First and last time visit. The products are weak and it’s a no return policy even if you didn’t open the items with the receipt, although I understand it is prescription unopened items should still be returned

Location location location. This dispensary is super easy to get to in Midtown however, their products are low grade and they are rarely fully stocked. I go here only if I have too.

In terms of quality, the products are alright considering the very limited selection available in NY. Though as people mentioned, the pens fail almost every time. They come half empty, and you can't finish the $82 1/4 gram pen cause the battery dies. On top of that, they wont replace it for you, they might offer you a reduced price on a new one which imo is ridiculous. The location itself is very conveniently located, clean, staff is nice. Theyre helpful, and try to assist patients in a timely matter. Aside from the pens dying, their available stock is never consistent. I switched from pens to capsules because of the battery issue, but then arriving in store they don't have half their menu in stock. And on several occasions Ive had to wait about the length of a doctors visit, just to pay for my items and leave. I recommend calling ahead or checking leafly before going into the store, and expect to have a bit of wait time.

The staff at MedMen is amazing! I went in yesterday and bought an “Awake” (pure sativa) vape pen. The staff was really helpful and I qualified for their 20% disability discount so it was very affordable too. Unfortunately, the pen randomly stopped working today (day after I bought it) so I called and they told me to come back in. I went in, explained the issue and they immediately replaced the pen! They were so great. I will definitely be shopping here again and recommend them to friends.

They will scam u out of your money

I hate to write this, bc I do like the people who work here, however what is going on? When I first started coming here I was charged $87 for a vape which I use bc it works, it says 40 doses, it is 15-20 doses tops. Then they brought the price down to $54, then in December it was $54 buy one get one so about $22 dollars each. This is medicine people are prescribed to. This is the same size each time. How is this allowed? In January I returned to the shop, no menu listed online so now you have to go in. I went 2 days ago and honestly, less than 48 hours after I left both vapes are done. The lights are flashing. I was hoping at least after the sale they would have better quality product. Now I just wasted my money and have no medicine left. I loved MedMen but it’s time to find a new place. Great location, great people but not worth the stress, money that doesn’t add up or confusion or wondering if the product will even work.

Good location. The issue is with the quality of their pens. I purchased two, and they're smaller than other dispensaries in NYC, they also seem to fail really easily. I.M.O it's not worth spending twice the amount a product that is not even half of that elsewhere.

The visits have always been great but I’ve recently been buying multiple pens At a time (like 5-9 per visit the last 3 or 4 times I’ve been there, over a 3 month pd) and it really sucks I have to find a new dispensary because I love their product but NOT ONE pen had a battery that worked Long enough for me to vape all the product, and I go through these pens in 3 days tops so it’s not like I left it for a while inactive). Twice the pens died with 1/3 of the product (Minimum) still in there. I brought one back to them and they gave me 15% off a new pen which was nice but I have all these pens with at least 3-5 hits still in them but it looks like so little it’s embarrassing to bring them all back to the store comparing about such a seemingly small about but the pens aren’t cheap and if I could add up all the oil I lost as a result of this issue it would easily be 2 full pens, and that’s being generous, it’s prob more then that. I’m currently looking for alternative product lines and will probably only get the medmen luxlyte pens for a special occasion, if at all.

I bought a disposable vape pen from here. The battery died about 3/5 of the way through the product, wasting the rest!!!! Jelen was a nice worker, but the products need to taken through control better!!

I like the product options, and the vape pen/oil is one of my favorites so far. It's too bad the pen is single use. Peyton was super helpful, friendly and knowledgable. Intake was ok but not as easy as some other dispensaries.

My once favorite for over a year fails solely because of what I believe to be a inept and untrained newly appointed manager. He literally reversed a year long policy from his store. The Peter principle in practice. And as I left he made a face at me. Sickening when pain relief is in the hands of someone I believe to be incompetent. Fortunately, the LI LOCATION still is teriffic.

Med men, Fifth ave. Sales have no end dates and are still going on as far as the their site and Leaflys site are concerned, yet upon arriving at the store, they inform one that uh oh, "that sale ended today..., sorry." Being sick, and needing these people to honor what they say, should be expected, but there is no altruism going on at this biz. Its about the mighty dollar. Nothing else. Not even honoring what you advertise with what you do after one has traveled all the way there. Its closer than most to me. I'm captive to my needs and illness, so I'll go again, not because I like being treated so shabbily. Who likes that?

Not informative at all especially with first time goers, spent overall of 200$ Just to have one product satisfying . Go in there knowing what you want I suggest don’t take no recommendations. I got 7 grams of some unknown vireo health bud that you cannot convince me it wasn’t cbd. Moral of the story I’m in shambles, just sickening.

I really like their product. I hope they can stay in business. Their products work better for me than any of their local competitors. I also hope they can work on keeping their inventory in stock.

I greatly appreciate the ease of ordering and the excellent customer service. They are always friendly and helpful.

It was my first time there. The person was very knowledgeable and helpful! The products were less than expected as they recently adjusted them. I did, however, notice my pens were about 75% full. I was all the way home by the time I noticed. I know they can't really be filled tippy top but did not receive what is pictured either. I have sent an email to the company and I hope they can make it right as I would like to keep my business here!

Friendly atmosphere….clear view of all products through the showcases in the bright clean store. Miguel A. extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly assisted me in deciding what products he thought would work best for me. He explained the pros and cons of the products as they related to my medical issues. I was lucky enough to have his excellent advice.

the luxlyte brand is amazing. i’ve been using the Awake Pen it’s just amazing how well it works!

First time in today. Convenient location- but not discrete, floor to ceiling windows facing 5th ave (if that bothers you). Mike and Sandy helped me and were super friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. Cannot comment on quality of content yet but the store was very nice and clean.

Good quality, safely tested medical cannabis products. There is something for everyone. For fastest service, submit your order and necessary paperwork ahead in plenty of time. Everyone there is professional and polite. Covid mask protocol is observed. The one in Las Vegas is also excellent. MedMen, highly recommend!
