This was my first trip to this dispensary as a medical patient. I’ve been to 3 others in the area and the vibe is different here. Everyone is happy. Smiling. It seems like they focus on education rather than simply selling. First impressions go a long way and my experience positively solidified my choice to switch dispensaries.

Without opening the container, I saw that there was a human hair in the container. DISGUSTING. WOW. I am SO disappointed. NEVER has this happened before. If this is a MEDICAL product, there are NO exceptions by any means for a hair strand to be found laced in this flower! GROSS!!!

Tori was the "budtunder" for me during a recent trip to Zen Leaf, I go there a bit. She was great. Friendly, smiling and knowledgeable. It's always nice to come in to be greeted with smile and a relaxed atmosphere, Tori does a great job of enhancing and keeping the chill vibe at Zen Leaf, as do all of her other co-workers. If you can spare a couple of bucks good service please do so.
Three stars for atmosphere as the lines are too long sometimes and the facility is too small for the demand. Separate counters/lines/rooms/entrances for medical patients and rec patients would be great to alleviate some of the standing and burden from both parties of enthusiasts and or patients. It would seem logical for the medical side in particular as some people may be dealing with ailments that preclude them from standing for prolonged periods. Additionally there is no social distancing occurring when people are 40+ deep in line. I have used the pickup line which is great, but sometimes it may difficult to get a spot and at times the menu online does not reflect what is actually on hand causing people to change their order at the last minute. (Oh you have weddging cake too! or I want that instead of) so I like to go in when I can but due to the crowds at times I am largely going to be limited to pickup. However I will not get to see any of the awesome budtenders.

Zen Leaf went out of their way to assist me during the entire process of getting my Illinois medical card. From lists of paperwork needed to actually helping with the online registration. Many thanks to Joanna for her help and never ending patience.
Once I had my medical card I was given a consultation by one of the Zen Leaf staff and some advice on my first purchases. I picked up four items to try, two of which they suggested. After a few days of experimenting the two that Zen Leaf suggested were by far the best for my medical needs. Thanks to Scott for all his help with this!
Helpful staff, great selection, reasonable prices and sales.

I'm really dissapointed in my experience at this clinic. I came in expecting them to have some working knowledge of the 40 medical conditions approved by IL, and be able to provide specific strains to help my symptoms. They had no idea what mine was, and have offered nothing that has helped. I've had to do my own research and they don't carry any of the strains recommended. Go elsewhere.

I have been watching prices of various dispensaries since Illinois became legalized. I was hoping politics would be kept out of the industry since the industry is supposed to be about peace and healing. ITS NOT I’m sorry charging 50-60 dollars for ONE GRAM of wax is insane. Shame on everyone in the industry not fighting for people. We put people on medical cannabis so they can heal, and have their medicine. Then YOU as the dispensaries are charging people half of their salary. Not even insurance will cover medical cannabis..... yet we proscribe people it....I WOULD LIKE ANSWERS.

Placed my order got a confirmation email on order then get a phone call with an out of state phone number telling me to call back and schedule pick up time orders message stated no orders filled without pick up time said to call back on local number now but no one answers. Nothing on website when placing an order very unprofessional!

So i went there today around430 PM , i waited in line for like 45 min to an hour in the cold , just to get denied access, for not saying the correct address on my ID , but they will let you in with an expired ID , didn’t even get a chance to correct myself and give the correct address . With all the respect i would like an explanation for this , or unfortunately i won’t be doing business here , thank you.

This is the 3rd time in a row I have purchased a product that magically has the seal broken. I've had vapes that tasted so bad and looked like colors I've never seen, the bud once tasted like windex and most importantly every product has a broken or tempered seal..

What terrible customer service! I've been a patient at Natures Care for a couple years, and tried to switch to Zen. Worst mistake! Jose, the Paul Blart cop, was very rude. Their online ordering and curbside pickup is ineffective! They made me go in stating there's problems with their system. They even turn away medical patients! Do yourself a favor a choose Verilife or Natures Vare nearby! Pricing and customer service is wayyyyyyy better!

staff was always friendly. George the security guy is really great. But Kate the manager is not skilled enough to be working with people. Do not spend money here. You are not valued there.

Second time there today after s very positive first experience months ago and really disappointed by the service. Asked for gummies and was given drops. The budtender didn’t seem to care and charged me anyway— seemed like he just wanted me gone. Not happy with the product. Won’t be coming back.

I just recently got around to renewing my card and I was a patient back when the program first started. When I arrived I was greeted in a very professional and friendly manner by each member of the staff. I had no clue that this location was once Healthway Services which I had been to in the past until one of the employees mentioned I was in the system already under a different QP (it changed when I renewed). Even with a rush of patients I was tended to quickly and was even given a $5 coupon for when I return. Excellent service. Excellent selection. And much better prices from what I remember in the past.

Very nice facility, very attentive and helpful staff but the menu is severely lacking. I have experience with a previous dispensary in the area and their menu was at least two times bigger. Their cartridge menu is a joke. $70 for 500mg and I’ve regularly spent the same for twice as much at the previously mentioned dispensary. Aside from the lackluster selection, it’s a very nice facility with great staff.

The staff and product are the best. Other states with legal recreational don't have half the selection they have here. Plus the people are friendly, helpful and will know you by your first name.
