The Novel Tree - Bellevue

The Novel Tree is a welcoming, comfortable recreational marijuana shop. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Mary is a knowledgable, helpful budtender. There has obviously been a lot of thought and consideration of the customer put into this operation. We will be back soon. Love the Zoots!

I have been in a few times. Selection is very good and prices are reasonable given the high quality of bud. They are extremely friendly and professional and often seem to be running sales.

This place is probably my favorite place on the east side. their staff is very friendly and shopping there is simple, just go up to the counter, pick out a strain and ask questions, and find the bud that is right for you. they have a good selection of both bud and glass at a decent value, and they are definitely the best balance of quality and price in Bellevue.

Absolutely stellar shop. It was my first impression of buying recreational when it opened, and I took it for granted until I saw other a few other local shops. Terrific/clean/upscale atmosphere, friendly/knowledgeable/professional employees, and pure dedication to the craft. I remember thinking "Wow, stoner culture has come a long way!" upon leaving my first time; a feeling that later crumbled as I stepped into a few other local stores (I'll hesitate from naming them here). I'll just say that Novel Tree set my bar high, and I'll be going out of my way to give them my business.

I found the Novel Tree by price shopping some strains on Leafly; for a recreational store they were considerably less than any of the competition. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. A grower was there the day I visited and they had a fantastic special--I ended up with a gram each of four strains for $60, including tax. Even without the specials the prices were great. I've already told a couple of friends, and I'll be back!

Concentrates are almost half the price compared to any other recreational store out there, nice staff, will come back again.

This location is fantastic. Consistently good product, knowledgeable staff, nice environment. I would come more if it were closer to home. That said, I've gone out of my way more than a handful of times just because I knew it'd be a positive experience.

Best Recreational in Bellevue

I've been up in the Eastside area for a little while and just found out these guys opened a few months ago around the corner. They've been wonderful so far. The price, quality, and selection is great. They manage to make it all work when its still so new and hard. Top shelf strains at reasonable prices that are regularly availaible. The staff is great and will help you find something you like no matter what sort of experience you have.

Definitely the nicest recreational store in the Seattle area. The atmosphere is inviting, well lit, and clean, and the employees are professional, well groomed, and knowledgeable. The selection was fantastic and the weed quality appears to be as good as it gets in a Washington rec store. If you have a friend or spouse that retains a stereotypical impression of the cannabis scene, bring him or her along the next time you visit the Novel Tree; it feels like a Starbucks for weed.

Easily the best store I have visited to date. Due to that, we no longer shop anywhere else. The service is amazing, its like buying weed from your friends. The store is nice, clean and never too busy. The biggest win's though, are the price's, stock and the fact that you can smell samples. In the emerging recreational weed market in this state, I don't think any store has as good a model as these guys.

I've been to this shop about ten times now and the quality and prices are consistently the best around. The budtenders are always friendly and knowledgable. No one is ever rude or impatient. The menu is easily accessible. Very professional environment. Happy to be a regular customer and I recommend this place to every smoker I come across because you just can't do better.

I frickin' love this place. Every time I have visitors, I take them here. It's lit up, looks nice and I never feel rushed. I have brought total newbies and longtime smokers and the budtenders have always been amazing and friendly and welcoming. If you're nervous, go here and the budtender will be helpful and not gate-keeper. There's always great glassware to check out and I love their coasters and lighters. Good frequent buyer program and I like their variety of deals. My favorite dispensary!

They go for quality! I was at a party the other night and the topic and for where to shop came up; it was unanimous, The Novel Tree.
