The Novel Tree - Bellevue

I just had my first visit to a dispensary and it was a very positive experience at The Novel Tree. It was clean, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable, and they have a good selection of products. Brian, especially, was awesome...he answered all of our questions and was very patient. David, too, was fun to chat with! Highly recommend this place!

I've been in a handful of times. The people are always informed, friendly and helpful. The ganj has been just as advertised. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Hands-down the best recreational dispensary I've been to anywhere. They were the first recreational shop I tried, and nowhere else has ever measured up since. Friendly, knowledgeable staff working in a nice, open store, with competitive prices on good products. Yes, some of their glassware/grinders (on the center table) are "cheap" but so is the price ($10 pipes, $15 grinders? 'common folks, that's nothing!). My go-to shop!

Recent transplant to the Seattle area, and I gave them a shot yesterday. Their prices are between $20-$30/g, which seems to be average for here, but the quality is outstanding. Based on Brian's knowledgable recommendations,I picked up 1g of Avitas Pineberry and 2g of Afghan Goo. Neither strain disappointed, and the store will be my go to for the time being.

I've been to several of the rec stores now, and this has become my regular one on the eastside. The prices are actually a bit lower and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they always have good deals available if you're not in a position to spend big cash that day. Everything I've tried is high quality. I also appreciate that they post their menu, with prices and quantities so I can figure out what I want to get before I'm standing there in person being overwhelmed by the wide selection. Another nice thing, they were the first store I'd been to that has samples available in little jars for you to see and smell. Since you can't taste test, being able to get an idea of the flavor that way is a really nice bonus.

The Novel Tree has a great formula for retail cannabis. The facility is warm and inviting, the staff is patient and knowledgeable, and the selection is good. I will be back.

One of the better recreational stores I've been to. I love the atmosphere and everyone I interacted with was extremely nice. The bud tenders patiently answered my endless barrage of questions about vape cartridges and concentrates, and politely ignored my obvious nervousness (I get anxious in rec shops for some reason... maybe just PTSD from the days of prohibition). They also have an interesting selection of strains that you won't necesssarily find at other stores. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I will definitely go back on occasion to stock up on some of the more uncommon items on their menu.

First off, it's cool they advertise not only their menu but their prices. The prices here are definitely lower than other shops on the Eastside, and the selection of flower is very good. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Convenient freeway access (just a couple blocks from the off-ramp.) Good choice for regulars and those who want to check out this whole "legal smoke" thing. Tried the Shiatsu Kush: Takes a little while to kick in, but a mellow and relaxed high, and certainly enough head buzz to make the world interesting. The relaxation brings a subtle weightless feeling to the torso and lower body -- a bit of floaty fun when walking. Overall, uplifting to body and mind. Good mood enhancer with undertones of "I think I'd like to hug somebody." Very mild taste for vaping. It was, however, on the dry side... this can be attributed to growing conditions and overdone drying prior to packaging. For greenhouse-grown, there is no excuse, but don't be put off by it here. What's missing is that added bit of moisture that makes smoke mellower during combustion. A Boveda packet is included if you want to use it. It's designed to emit moisture, so you store it with the herb to re-moisturize. But when VAPING herb this soft-tasting, it's not necessary. Also, the main weight loss for newly-grown flower (that ends up dry) is moisture as opposed to cannabinoids. That means you're getting more of the active ingredients (compared to non-dry herb) because it's sold by weight. Anyway, thumbs up on Shiatsu Kush, and the Novel Tree in Bellevue.

All around five star experience. I visited The Novel Tree for the first time a few weeks ago when I saw they were running a special. Drove over on my lunch break, set up looks awesome, very stylish and modern interior. Friendly greeting and ID check by the front door, super friendly and knowledgable help in picking out a strain, and totally reasonable donation pricing compared to a few other places on the eastside. In and out and very satisfied in just a few minutes. Plus it's across the street from Bellevue Brewing Company, what more could you want? I'll definitely be back, and I've been talking the place up to anyone who might be interested.

A light and airy feeling environment with great glass, great bud with lots of variety, and delightful staff who know their products. Prices are comparable to elsewhere but the numerous specials made my day. Visit and enjoy!

The Novel Tree is a welcoming, comfortable recreational marijuana shop. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Mary is a knowledgable, helpful budtender. There has obviously been a lot of thought and consideration of the customer put into this operation. We will be back soon. Love the Zoots!

I have been to many of the local shops, by far the best place around! Great selection and very friendly staff. The only place I go now! Do yourself a favor and try this place out.

Immediately greeted by a professional. Location and design of the store is streamlined. The customer service was phenomenal and the packaging was bespoke! Overall extremely impressed. I definitely will be a regular and recommending to others! Best on the eastside!

This is the best place on the east side. I wish there were better public transit options to get there. But that's a reoccurring issue on the east side in general.

Fantastic shop, nice welcoming people and a warm environment. Always have good quality $10 grams. You'll find beautiful glass pieces, in eloquent cases all around you. The loyalty program is nice to get 15% off. although you have to spend $500 to receive it. Overall a great shop that's close to my home, across the street from the bank, and very convenient. I recommend it to everyone.

I have been in this store dozens of times as it is close to where I live. Every single time I visit I get wonderful customer service from the person at the door to the bud tenders. Sometimes it feels like a lot of these recreational stores have sort of a stuck up vibe and aren't making customers a priority. I miss the the medical stores where you would develop great relationships with the staff. The Novel Tree is the closest I have found to the feel of the medical stores. The Novel Tree has employees who take pride in putting their customers first. They all are very knowledgeable. You can tell the employees love working there! I highly recommend visiting them!
