Cannabist - Lowell (Adult-Use)

As a medical patient, I use to think this dispensary was the best in the state. I love how they experiment with new product, yet, kept their higher THC and core strains on hand. I could rotate out between strains. Prior to becoming a recreational sales dispensary, their product began to slip. Way too many 50/50 hybrids, and all their strains are way too low with their THC percentages. All their strains from Sativas, Hybrids and Indicas are lacking or not even on the menu. I spent over $200 their last Sunday, what a waste of MONEY... If I was a newbie or inexperienced non medical patient, fine. Looks like an Apple move on Patriot Care, forget about your core audience and go where the money is. Cater to the consumer, and forget about the medical side of the business. Shame on the state for allowing both sales in the same location. Look at ATG in Salem, another failure, got too greedy.

Patriot Care is great..they have wonderful service and great flower products..before patriot care was open i couldn't enjoy cannabis and couldn't get the medicine i needed for my anxiety and pain problems..thank you patriot care for helping us all 😊

No shuttles - just a 2 min walk from parking! Love that. The CO2 cartridges are top quality. I’m thrilled to have this dispensary in the area, I know I’ll be back soon.

Pros Nice staff Good location Parking is fine(you just have to walk over to another parking lot) Flower is good when they have it Cons Lines have always been long for me Won't have flower all the time and when they do it's gone pretty quick. You have to really keep tabs on the online menu and sometimes they don't even update it and even then you can arrive and the selection is mostly gone. The waiting line is pretty cramed under a tarp.

Great dispensary awesome herbal just to chime in here must i am a rec user Andi have ptsd and cancer and depression why r u hating on rec users when we need our medicine just as much as u? Seems u need help mentally. Dr thumb is 100 percent right we are all here to heal let's get along th patriot for high cbd for my pain n depression

Would be great if they had more pipes, vape supplies. The shop had a sparse atmosphere.

Overall the experience was pretty good even though sometimes they don't have much to choose from. Also people on here should not be arguing because it's juvenile. It's really sad that people on here need to fight. You all need to relax

The Blusexplosion (Hybrid) *Quarters Only* is a rip off worst tasting bud ever low quality and way over priced no wonder they wouldn’t let me see it before I bought it I won’t make that mistake again. Bud on the streets is better and cheaper $120 on 7 grams of garbage that would of sold for $50 on the street. “DONT BUY BLUSEXPLOSION NOT WORTH THE MONEY“!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been trying consistently since May 25th. Can’t even place an order even when checking and refreshing every 10 minutes. No answers, information or direction from them at all. If you can try to go somewhere else- TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!! I also work in Fall River and placed an online order through another dispensary this morning and was able to pick it up this afternoon with no issues whatsoever. Step it up Patriot Care!

Placed an order this morning at 9:45am heard nothing all day and then at 4:29pm I received a message that my order was confirmed. Then I was notified that they wouldn’t be able to fill my order. Then they cancelled my order. I called the help line, nothing. I emailed them, nothing. I’m just glad I didn’t pay for anything yet. I’d like to hear back or I won’t be placing another order through them.

I live 5 minutes away and I’d still rather drive to any other dispensary. Foolishly, I always try to give it another chance and am disappointed time and time again. First, the positive is that the employees are very friendly and they have have a nice variety of flower and product. The reasons I choose not to go here- 1. Poor communication. I tried to visit 1.5 hrs before posted closing time and was told by the guard that they stopped rec sales 2 hrs prior and that I should call ahead of time. I’ve also shown up and stood in line for a while before someone came out and told us there was “no THC” available. 2. The lines are ridiculous. I just tried to go again today 15 min before opening and the line was already insane. I’ve waited 45 min to an hour at times and that was when the line was half the size of what I saw this AM. I have been to quite a few other dispensaries and Patriot is the worst BY FAR. I could drive to the next closest dispensary, make my purchases and be home before I’d get through the line at Patriot. Sadly, when I’ve gone to Temescal in Hudson, I have met at least 4-5 people who all tried to go to Patriot, saw the lines, and decided that driving would be easier than waiting there. 3. Prices are higher than the others I’ve been to. Just for comparison’s sake, a quarter of flower is $120 at Patriot (taxes included). It is $105 at the next closest dispensary to me (again, taxes included). I know that legal dispensaries are still relatively new in MA and there’s some lessons to be learned in terms of efficiency so I hope that the experience can be improved at Patriot.

Patriot care has a zero return policy and all buyers should be aware. I ordered a few grams from different strains, and a half gram Vape cartridge. The cartridge was not the model that I had selected in the purchasing option and I was not able to return it for the proper fit. Their mistake, My money :/ decent place for one of the first few dispensaries in Mass. I hope in 10 years dispensaries are a little less and uptight, and we can move to a more relaxed store system.

The workers here are nice and pleasant to speak with, however the management must be a group of monkeys. Service is slow, the hours they say they are open is wrong ( I came at 4:30 one time and was told no more customers but they close at 6). They don’t update their site ever, or their social media’s, and good luck calling them. They will waist your time, you are better off spending your money elsewhere.

Do you like standing in the cold for 40 minutes only to be told to go back to your car to come back after you’ve placed an order that takes another 40 minutes? This place consistently sucks

We drove up no line, got checked at the door and went in. The man that helped me was rude and unprofessional, I was questioned several times about my order, he couldn’t find it? Said that’s why your not suppose to come in until your order is ready!! It was jerk !! Plus he kept my change from a debt , almost $3 ... crooks!

Unnecessary lines. Useless to wait 2 hrs when you could just hire more tellers or literally do anything but make people stand for hours while idiots chit chat. This is an awful place to get bud anywhere else is faster same selection same price..soon as other local stores open this will die fast. People do not like being treated like shit

I really wish they were better at moving customers efficiently. lines for hours and the online ordering is almost never working never allowing you to add product to the cart. Tellers are always super cool and helpful the store its self is nice an the bud is always great. But, you really need to work on getting people in an out within a few mins.

I have been a caregiver using Patriot Care Lowell for the past 2+ years. I was concerned about the wait time, parking, etc. when PC went Adult Use. There was no reason to be concerned. They had it figured out so Medical patients can still park at the building, so far I have not hit a wait... all is working well. And... once again, the staff has been polite, professional, knowledgeable and always pleasant and friendly.

This is the closest adult use dispensary to me by a lot so I'm forced to come here. It's a mess. Expect at least an hour wait and even then you may get inside and find most things sold out. Today I waited 2 hours and finally gave up and left. I was told they only had 2 people on register on the adult use side (on the sunday before labor day). They need an overhaul or they will find themselves empty once more places open.

Got there about 1 hour before opening today, like you usually have to do otherwise the line is more than an hour in length and all outside. 30 min after opening time they still didn't let anyone in, including medical people. Apparently they lost power and couldn't get their computers working to do any transactions. Do you think anyone came out and told us this? Nope. The customer service here is ABYSMAL. Just left us out there, we found out what was going on from medical people who were getting fed up and people who were there the DAY BEFORE when the system apparently went down. Maybe put up a sign.... maybe something on social media.... or come outside and be honest with your customers. Nope, the people who own/run this place are inept. I decided to check out the Salem dispensary... I cant explain what a night and day experience compared to here. I was in and out in 30 min and only 5 min was outside. Good riddance to this place.... never coming back.

Wish this place was run like NETA in Brookline. There they have more people to help you with your selections and bigger selection. Patriot Care should be concern otherwise more people will be shopping there instead.Even if it is further away from those of us that live near PatriotCare
