2nd visit to Herbal Nation - staff was friendly/knowledgeable, never a wait over 5 mins or so. Very high quality flowers, though menu on leafly has consistently been out of date. I've had the topshelf blue dream, candy kush, & sour desiel. All great. Prices are excruciatingly high, but I suppose that's to be expected...

Way over priced!

Great selection. Prices are too high but maybe they will come down. I would go back when the prices drop a bit.

Place is super cool and employees seem cool, can't believe how expensive this stuff is though, it's literally 200-300% mark up compared to shops that you go if you have a card and the street. Juju joints for 85 bucks? Jesus Christ really? They are 20-30 at reg shops.

Visiting from out of town and checked out HN and found their store to be clean with polite staff. donation prices ranged from $15-$29 and they had edibles and BHO too. Nice store, professional service and very potent herb I tried some of the Blue Dream and ATF. Very nice. Will visit again when back in town. Thank you Herbal Nation for the chill weekend :) Marry

I had a great shopping experience with Herbal Nation. The sales staff are great, very knowledgeable, and very friendly! They made my shopping experience a breeze. The reason for the 4 stars on quality is the fact that I was not too impressed with the JuJu joint- nothing to do with the shop! The convenience appealed to me but overall I wasn't too impressed with it.

First, I would like to point out that product price is not a category in this review. As one of the first shops to open under the new I-502 laws, they are pioneers in untangling the incredibly constrictive bureaucracy that is the WLCB. After the supply line was successfully strangled, the three-fold taxation finished things off. If you want cheap weed, the black market and med shops are available. That said, I was more than happy to pay more to help a local business and to lend my support for what can only be described as a monumental shift in the drug war (prohibition) oppression that I've known my whole life. Now, let's talk about Herbal Nation! I went by the shop on Friday (8.29.14) and checked out their selection. It was my first visit to the shop and I was happy to see they had plenty of parking. The lot was almost full and I was expecting to wait in line, but it only took a minute or two to be helped. Big thumbs up for the hardworking staff and good set up. My wife and I told the girl that helped us what we were looking for and she immediately pointed us toward Liberty Reach's Blue Dream. Top Shelf was 24.4% lab tested THC. The young lady was a fantastic help and she knew her strains. The herb itself was beyond amazing. Absolutely top-notch flavor and high. (I'll be posting a separate review about that.) They have a good selection of pipes and I'm told they will be getting some edibles in soon. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you, HN, for doing it right the first time around.

Went here on the grand opening and once again about 2 weeks later. It's a small place with limited parking but wasn't too much of a hassle finding a spot. I waited in line outside for maybe 10 minutes before getting IDed and let in the store. The inside looks very new but nothing spectacular. It's not like it matters anyway because once you get in you're attention is immediatley drawn to the pot. The store smells soooooo great. It smells like a hit blown through a doob tube. The selection at the time was pretty limited in the fact that there was only one strain to choose from. That being said they had a shit ton of it. Blue dream was their menu exclusive but had 3 different tiers of it. We got the lowest tier since it had been a long time since I smoked pot. It was something like 23 dollars for 1 gram. I'm used to prices out east where a gram on the street runs you 20 bones so it wasn't a big deal to me. The second time I visited they had 4 new strains on top of the blue dream. I chose the Mickey Kush (it was almost $40 for 1g!!!) which was top notch. Between the blue dream and Mickey I'd choose the Mickey. Now they have more and more product available and hopefully a more even spread of prices per quality. Anyway, it's a nice place that maintains stock and not too far from where I live. I will be going again once prices become a little more reasonable.

Got the Bubba Kush (Emerald Jane's). Nice 1g bud. 19% THC, Good flavor and effects were as expected. Only downfall to the store is the price. 29.99 is just too much. They are open late but so is the store on aurora, which has 3.5 for 60, and a couple lower than that. It was close and wanted to try them. I'll wait till price drops. Telling that they don't have prices posted online.

Small but legit store, show your ID at the door then you have to wait for your turn to see one of the 4 cashiers. The line goes pretty quick, when i was there it was packed to the door and it took about 5 mins for me to get to the cashier. It was 30$ for there Top Shelf Blue Dream. 2g came out to $67.88 with tax. The extra cash is worth it, since it does the job pretty damn well.

Their supply is decent, but the prices are noticeably higher than other shops in town. There are simply nicer, cheaper, and more variety elsewhere, so I recommend shopping around.

I am a weekly to bi-weekly customer. This is a well run store with educated and friendly staff and manager. The variety and choices are nearly always great. Ask questions and you'll receive answers, suggestions and future product information. I just hope we all see a more competitive pricing on the green soon. I've tried more strains and hybrids in the last 3 months than I've had in my entire life. Thank you.

The staff are very well informed about the biology and terpene profiles of the strains they carry. I was impressed with Lauren's knowledge about the essential oils and differences between certain styles of growing and cultivating. I highly recommend this store for everyone from complete newbies to life long experts.

Great service, never out of product and have a 4:20pm discount for whoever is in the store at that exact time!

Great Place! Super friendly staff, good herb, & short wait in line. Prices are a bit steep, but the strains are quality. $138=4.5 gms., ouch... Will definitely make the trip back over from Freeland, despite the $20 in ferry tolls I will incur. Good job, guys!

I've worked with the public all of my life and belive in great customer service. Herbal Nation not only has the best customer service, their products are top notch. The employee's are knowledgeable and very helpful. Even when its super busy, you never feel rushed. The owner is a class act and a super nice guy. He cares and wants his customers to be happy and he will go the extra mile to make sure you are.

I'll start by saying that I was really excited to have Herbal Nation open in my area last August. I've dropped in a few times since then and have to confess that the excitement level has waned quite a bit. Good product? Sure. Friendly? You bet. But those prices...there's a reason prices aren't posted on the menu. As more retail locations open up, I find myself hoping that these folks have a few local competitors, because the prices are considerably higher than many other places are charging, even with the most recent harvest. The market will correct itself and I hope to return to Herbal Nation soon. But that won't happen until they get their prices in line with their competitors. Come on, guys! I like friendly service but you need to balance it with value or else your competitors will eat your lunch. Time to give your loyal customers a break. Bring your prices in line, post them on Leafly or I'll continue to stay away. Even if you are a mile from my house.

It's a really small shop. A few cases with pipes and bongs and whatnots. However. Being from Canada (Saskatchewan specifically, not exactly cannafriendly), it was amazing to not have to drive around the block with Saul Silver to end up with a bag of some 'decent' meds. And oh were the meds decent (albeit pricey at ~30/g for the top shelf, but hey, I'm not complaining. It'll come down.) I grabbed their high grade Blue Dream and it does everything the reviews say. Atmosphere in the shop was great, friendly staff, the guy checking IDs was super undouchey, and there was no line up besides the 5 people in the shop already. This was at about 5:30. Decent selection in the top shelf and a couple lower end indicas, as well as pre rolled units. Hours are long and thick, which is nice. Can't wait to see this place when it really gets going.

Very high prices. $30+ a gram. Good product but be prepared to pay hard for it.
