I came into Green planet a couple weeks ago to stock up on dabs because my favorite shop a few miles away was out. I got 4 grams of what I was assured was top shelf by a very rude bud tender only to find out one gram was completely oxidized (this happens only from poor storage and/or if a product is extremely old). I've come in from time to time and I have to say that this is complete trash. I will NEVER be returning. The other 3 were okay for yesterday's rejects but lacked in quality and generally tasted like trash all around. I only use concentrates so this is extremely disappointing, save your money or get something there that isn't dabbable; these kids have no idea what they're talking about

there are a couple of bud tenders here that need to go! they aren't doing GP any good business, terrible customer service, almost seemed hassled doing their job. I've had many great experiences here and written about them so I must write about the bad experiences as well. the quality of the flower I purchased was horrible! tiny little pebble gravel sized buds so dry they practically crumbled to dust in the container by time I got it home. and what about some decent daily deals for rec customers? other NEARBY places have amazing rec deals! unless GP improves their staff, quality and perks I won't be back, my friends are already going somewhere else due to bad experiences. DISAPPOINTED!!

These guys won't refund money when they sell you bad products. They told me to contact their vendor for a refund! BEWARE of the Sharkbite shatter. It will make you vomit. It did me.
This place is tiny, no parking, horrible meds and won't do a thing about the oil I bought that makes me sick. No credit, no refund, NO COMPASSION.
My husband and I will never return.

This is the worst dispensary I've been too since the start of rec sales. Service is in the ditch. You ask questions and get no answers and they're slow as snails. The quality of flower is, you get what you pay for, which means not very good. I was so disappointed and I'm never returning to this store.

I purchased a cartridge from Green Planet smoke shop but didn't open it for a month thinking nothing of it. I finally opened to use my "new" cartridge and it did not work. Explain this to the store manager and they refused to return it or give me any type of customer satisfaction about it. This was the only smoke shop I had ever went to in Oregon but now I will never step foot in this shop again because I'm out of $60

The new store is bigger and normally that would be awesome...in this case, it's not. There was too much space in between where you tell the salespeople what you want and where they actually take your money. Even the girl that had to walk all the orders over said that she was already feeling the burn. The customer behind me also commented on how inefficient it was, but he hoped they get a better system going soon. Other than that, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and the product is great.

When cannabis was first legalized, this was the my first dispensary I frequented. By the looks of the other reviews, it's obvious everyone who visits this dispensary is wowed by the sheer volume of products they carry, the ability to use card instead of cash, and the knowledgeable staff. Since my first visits, I have moved - but I still make my way over to Beaverton to get that same service and the wide variety that drew me in initially.

Large Variety, not enough good people.

I’ve been going here for a while now, I am lucky that I know a little about weed and some local farms. The employees there barely know anything about the actual products and most of their supply is from 2017 I swear check the dates on what you get everything here is old mostly. I would always get Oregon genetics oil from here and for about two months now they haven’t gotten any more in. They just have the same kinds of concentrates over and over again definitely need to update their supply

I’m not sure how to answer this,
I’m quite disappointed although some of the bud tenders are great other’s here make me never wanna come back!
I’m not really sure why there attention span is so bad one example i got 2 grams of weed he asked me anything else i said shatter he said I’ll meet you over there i go there he passed me by i said hey he says that guy will help you i get shatter the guy rings me up.
Then i say where’s my weed.
Oh i forgot man!!!
Oh and i really love being charged tax even though I’m a med patient with a card that i gave to her.
50/60 bucks is a lot of money!!!
And i had to argue with here and then she cries like it’s my fault.

I have actually reviewed GP once before with al 5 stars, specifically highlighting their tenders and the service they provide. In the last 5 days, I have experienced enough negativity to take the time to review GP a second time, revoking what I had previously said. I am fairly disappointed in my interactions with the 2 different staff members I have spoken with, both who work on the glass retail side of the business.
***Note to people who are purchasing or visiting, the HERBIVORE grinder is flaking off metal shavings into the grounds. I highly suggest NOT purchasing, AT LEAST this grinder. However, if you run into this issue, it will take a marathon to get a lack luster and uncaring response from the staff or manager.
After speaking with one guy and then getting hung up on...(yes, he hung up on my boyfriend..) he called back only to go straight to voicemail. I then called, literally seconds later, straight to a employee (perhaps call screening as a business?). The employee that I spoke with was friendly and DID NOT hang up on me, and apologized for his co-worker, and informed me that the inventor manager could handle refunds and to call back on Monday when he was in. I proceeded to call again this morning for about 40 minutes, only to have it go straight to voicemail (screening call?). I ended up calling the dispensary side and was able to get transferred. After a painful 5 minute conversation, where I did the majority of the talking and leading of the conversation, he confirmed that I could bring the grinder in to exchange it.
I typically shop here a fair amount (and not that I want to be one of those people who pull one of those cards) BUT needless to say I always have 'points' when I visit. Mind you, I am the type of customer that can be for life or a short while because I believe in a relationship between the business and the customer...how else could GP be listed as #1 on Leafly? However, when that business fails in its relationship, regardless of a conclusion or not, I take into consideration how we got there. GP has rude people on staff and a manager who failed to acknowledge it. Note that I was very polite/calm on the phone and while I can take it back to exchange the product, I am not satisfied considering the inconvenience, cost, and lack of service this grinder has caused me. I feel like it has also shown me, that if you have money to spend at GP, they will treat you wonderfully...however if you mention an issue, you're just another number...not what I had thought of them previously.
I am appalled (yes, I said appalled, because literally, I am) and highly disappointed in a company that I previously raved and recommended to friends.
If management does read this, I highly recommend working with your staff, specifically managers in regards to customer service, how to retain loyal customers as well as phone etiquette. They may think they're only in the weed business, but they are still in A business and standards do apply, especially in a city with one of the highest number of dispensaries available to the public. And as a business, What REALLY sets you apart from the others?
Until customer service is at a higher level, stops at GP should fall into the category of ONLY when necessary. Unless this just happens to be a freak situation, but it seems unlikely.

I just visited here today for the first time. In the front part of the shop is glass and miscellaneous products, and the back is reserved for cannabis. The two gentlemen working there (in the front section) were very nice and knowledgeable. The guy with long hair was particularly informative and welcoming. Then I went to the back... The customer service there was non-existent. The man barely acknowledged me, gave quick one word answers to my open - ended questions, and showed nothing but rudeness while I was browsing. I'll never come back to this dispensary. Even if you enjoy being mistreated, the quality of the medicine is not worth the trip. It's all about the experience, and this isn't one I would ever recommend.

First impression "this is for young people" WAIT I'M ONLY 30!.....I guess because all the people loitering (not buying ) about were all alternative scene 18yo young people who did not look happy about life in general .....that grandpa rant aside.... you enter into a vape and glass shop with an impressive selection for its size....after presenting ID, you wait until your name is called... when called you enter a small room with two "budtenders"(if you want to call them that) (only 2 buying parties allowed at a time) there you are free to see and smell the flower selection...the prices on many strains can't be beat. ... however PLEASE POST PRICES! having no prices shown leaves to much room for "funny business" and it is a pain having to ask every time...do your Leafly homework before going to this location for price and strain information, as you will get neither here..the labeling is clean, easy to read and highly informative....they even include your name....they package in the standard pop top bottles (much preferred)....so as long as you know what you're going for and how much it is ....it's a good place to stop.

I’ve been here a few times and each time I have to remind them to their job. As in, apply discounts they clearly have advertising all over the store. The cashier made a big deal about refunding the difference. The budtenders are not attentive and interrupted me several times to talk about the “new girl”. I let greed get the best of me. I won’t be coming back.

GP is my local shop and it has a solid selection of good flower with Chisel, Lemon Sour Diesel, Chocolate Glue, Blue Magoo, Blackberry Kush, ZKittlez being some of my faves. Overall, the GP is a fairly consistent source of what you want when you want it.
If you care for more detail about going to the GP, here's the rest of my take...
It can be painfully slow service and frustrating at times when it's packed and the staff is too relaxed and sometimes disengaged from the clients. Also when it's nearly empty of clientele yet it takes forever for anyone to acknowledge or assist you.
I wish they had a glass jar option for flower as the plastic isn't a long term storage solution and obviously not the right choice for the environment. The GP does have a recycling program apparently for their plastic containers, but I have never seen a sign or heard about it first hand. I wish they had a lot more in fact in the way of storage for bud and paraphernalia.
The aesthetic is in desperate need of care/repair. It's like walking into a high school cafeteria or weird little headshop warehouse. It's brightly lit and too packed with glass pipes etc. just displayed plainly amongst a maze of glass display cases. I wish they showed more interest in the "experience" they provide their clients and how the store is organized, how product is advertised & displayed. It's a huge space and it has unlimited and as of yet untapped potential.
I wish they offered more in the way of education for the community and clientele.
All and all, the core staff is pretty decent. They get to know you, they know a decent amount about cannabis and the product and for the most part it's a good experience. Trainees and some new hires have pretty big learning curve as far as cannabis knowledge and customer service skills, often they aren't even sure about the product, policies etc. I wish they'd work with an experienced GP Staff member for a good long while before they are left on their own.
That's that. Enjoy your day and your herb :)

Every time I try GP again, I'm disappointed. Menu is not updated and when I call to ask (as it says to do in the Overview) I'm told, "We don't have time to tell you every strain we have....No. We can't hold anything to ensure it's here." Broken joint last visit. Small, pea-sized, manhandled nugs every visit, even if I ask for them not to squeeze and break my nugs up, they do it anyways. Not what it was those first few weeks the opened, now it's just about expansion. I up'd a star bc the new place is bigger.
And Really you guys, not listing THC/CBD % on Leafly...?! MAJOR Time Waster.

Worst customer service. Not consistent. One visit they were super helpful. Next visit no one with experience to help. Cashier was totally distracted during my transaction. Seemed to have a hard time with adding 2 gives, 1 ten, and 1 one.

Good options but more expensive than other dispensaries in the area.
Quality of staff varies
Last purchase I made, a magic $5 charge was added and it showed on the receipt I signed but not the copy I kept. I realized it for certain outside and went back in and it was a big deal to get fixed. They just said it was human error and gave me a coupon. The whole thing kinda came off seedy, especially with the way the rest of the staff kinda looked away solemnly and at the ground when I was back the the register. I would recommend double checking the receipt you sign and make sure the price is right.

Been in twice in the past two weeks and they haven't had any concentrates. The first time I bought flower to make up for it, over priced. They seem to blame a lot on their moving but I've never seen a store relocate so slowly! I won't be returning.

I've been going to this place since before it moved to the new location down the street, so it may be difficult to be a bit unbiased, however, I'll keep it strictly to my experience.
Sure, like any place, you can run into service issues, but they are rare. I've been visiting this shop on at least a monthly basis for the last 3 years, and all I can say is that it is great.
The staff know their stuff about a lot of the products, and you can tell by many of them that they actually care about what you're buying. They offer great suggestions and are very cordial, and they always have smiles on their faces.
The rewards program is okay. You don't get a tremendous amount back, but thats okay because most things are fairly inexpensive here due to the discounts they offer every week. 10% each day, if you look through the specials. On top of this, with many newcomers, they provide a free 10% off card. Just mention that to them.
Overall,
The best part about it is that you don't sacrifice quality.
I had my first ever product issue in 3 years and it was handled by a manager, in a professional way, and he even compensated me for my troubles.
Hands down the best shop in Beaverton because their selection is enormous. They also sell e-cigarette products, if you're into that as well.
The Cons to this dispensary:
Usually busy, sometimes the selection on concentrates can get thin.
Regardless, they offer great products, a rewards program, and every day of the week is some sort of 10% off offering.
Highly recommend if you're looking for some good bud in the area.

This is my favorite shop. Every time I come here the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable. Today I went in because the battery on my vape pen broke. When I bought it I was told that it has a lifetime warranty. They no longer carried that brand but upgraded me to a better brand that also has a lifetime warranty... all FO FREE. Thanks guys!
Shoutout to Jesse!

I like the large open layout, it's more inviting then the old layout. My first time here was back in late 2015. They have a good selection, and really good prices on bud. I've also always experienced good customer service.
