The Green Planet - Beaverton

GP is my local shop and it has a solid selection of good flower with Chisel, Lemon Sour Diesel, Chocolate Glue, Blue Magoo, Blackberry Kush, ZKittlez being some of my faves. Overall, the GP is a fairly consistent source of what you want when you want it.
If you care for more detail about going to the GP, here's the rest of my take...
It can be painfully slow service and frustrating at times when it's packed and the staff is too relaxed and sometimes disengaged from the clients. Also when it's nearly empty of clientele yet it takes forever for anyone to acknowledge or assist you.
I wish they had a glass jar option for flower as the plastic isn't a long term storage solution and obviously not the right choice for the environment. The GP does have a recycling program apparently for their plastic containers, but I have never seen a sign or heard about it first hand. I wish they had a lot more in fact in the way of storage for bud and paraphernalia.
The aesthetic is in desperate need of care/repair. It's like walking into a high school cafeteria or weird little headshop warehouse. It's brightly lit and too packed with glass pipes etc. just displayed plainly amongst a maze of glass display cases. I wish they showed more interest in the "experience" they provide their clients and how the store is organized, how product is advertised & displayed. It's a huge space and it has unlimited and as of yet untapped potential.
I wish they offered more in the way of education for the community and clientele.
All and all, the core staff is pretty decent. They get to know you, they know a decent amount about cannabis and the product and for the most part it's a good experience. Trainees and some new hires have pretty big learning curve as far as cannabis knowledge and customer service skills, often they aren't even sure about the product, policies etc. I wish they'd work with an experienced GP Staff member for a good long while before they are left on their own.
That's that. Enjoy your day and your herb :)
