Great place, quick and fast service. Only problem I have with the place is the limited menu they have for recreational sales. Would be a near daily customer if they still had pre rolls available for recreational purchase.

Sanctuary – retail recreational pot – Customer Review of a Customer’s Experience. I have made several purchases from Sanctuary in Gardner, MA since they opened. From the point of view of this customer, I have some specific feedback to offer the management. I feel annoyed an alienated whenever I try to make an informed and analytical buying decision at Sanctuary, and it is entirely unnecessary for me or anyone else to feel that way about what should be a feel-good purchase. The day’s paper menu contains no information whatsoever that is obviously needed by an analytical customer. I expect easy access to any/all of the analytical info, and being forced to ask and grovel for it is inefficient and alienating. Each time I feel like I am being herded by their “bud-tenders,” and I really don’t like it. As a buyer, I am entitled to whatever analytical information that is available about each and every item on the ever-changing menu, and I shouldn’t even have to ask. Sanctuary has no logically defensible reason why all the precise and relevant product info available (eg. THC and/or CBD content breakdown) isn’t printed on some version of the menu so a customer can, on their own, make their own decisions. Sure, the bud-tenders will try to impress me with their amazing product knowledge – but I really don’t appreciate hearing their b.s. word-piles. JUST PRINT THE RELEVANT DETAILS ONTO THE PAPER MENU, and then we don’t need to audibly hear what we don’t need or want to hear. Don’t try to impress me by verbally telling me about the mundane details that MUST be accessible to the customer in writing before we can make an informed decision. I am told that it is too much trouble for Sanctuary to put the precise details onto the menu because it is always changing. Unbelievable!! Don’t you have computer printers, a copy machine and fat profit margins? You’ve got employees standing on top on one another as it is. If the menu needs to be updated during the day – so what? Deal with it! Why don’t you try respecting the analytical customer who knows how to read by putting all essential analytical details right on some version of the day’s paper menu. Being forced to ask to verbally hear what ought to be in writing anyway is entirely ineffective, inefficient, insulting and alienating. I hope you can proactively receive this sincere customer feedback.

Still out of pre rolls and grams, will have to travel an extra hour just to get them. Very disappointing, this was my favorite go to place. It has slowly starting to be one of my least favorites. Please start restocking with smaller items so that you do not lose business.

Never have pre rolls!!! Does McDonalds run out of fries?? Does the movie theater run out of pop corn? Does the gas station run out of gas? Come on!! Is this a business or a fly by night whim! Get your act together. Update website and be honest when speaking to customers. No excuses!!! When you run out of stuff say you messed up!! Just saying

As other store's shortages have forced me to venture further from where I'd prefer to drive, Sanctuary was simply the next one by distance but they really exceeded everything I've come to expect from recreational stores. Everyone here is friendly, the line is minimal, everything is more personalized with menus and staff that know everything about what they're selling, they have comfortable seating once you're in the door but are waiting for a staff member, and they accept debit cards. All of my previous experiences elsewhere have been cash only places with multiple lines and little selection, not here. Another huge thing is that they hand you a menu before you're even inside so you have a realistic idea of what is available to you ahead of time. Other stores only show you that list at the counter and all of the things you potentially went in wanting are missing from it so you're left scrambling and taking forever at the counter (growing the line). Gardener is a hike for me but I'll definitely go back to Sanctuary. They've changed pretty much everything that I expect from a dispensary for the better and that's worth an extra few miles.

Would have been great I’f the bud I got wasn’t so dry that it turned to dust when you grind it.

Not sure why people are complaining about new pricing, all they did was start including tax in the price on leafly. So what you see is what you pay, as opposed to guessing or trying to calculate what the total price is. Overall I am happy with the service, recently increased availability of product, and pricing. Would definitely recommend.

Nice store, nice staff. However, the menu here is limited. My biggest issue is they are very inconsistent with their stock. Seems like they are often out of what I want and have no idea if or when they might get it again (ex., hash, pre rolled, L9 cartridges) Find something I like and next time they’re out. It’s frustrating that the menu and supply are so limited because it could be a really great store. Going to start losing customers to other shops unless they become a little more reliable. Been to shops in the Seattle area and can tell you that Massachusetts has a ways to go both in terms of variety and cost. Hope we get there at some point soon.

I’ve tried 4 different strains. Every single one is incredibly dry. If you put any pressure on a nug it will crumble to dust. Don’t bother.

Stocking, and ordering will be the fall to this place! Great for everything else, other than any and all stock! Its actually pretty pathetic how bad it is/ and has been!!! Employees( other than the managers lack of ordering) and wait time is top notch.

Their manager its so freaking rude. I don’t get it. They are selling a product and we are the customer.. they should be more professional about it. They think they can be rude like they are doing us a favor! Comon we are paying customers!

I love the fact that there is no wait time unlike other stores. The staff is incredible and treats you like family. Terrific asset to the community.

ATTENTION other Mass recreational dispensaries. Please come visit Sanctuary Medicinals in Gardner immediately to see how it’s supposed to be done. Seriously. Knowledgeable, kind and friendly staff make for a relaxed, confidence-inspiring and enjoyable experience as opposed to a stress-filled, impersonal, discouraging experience. Just sayin.

The shatter at Sanctuary is definitely the best professional shatter I've tried from any dispensary by far. The flowers are dense and resinous, and packed with nitrogen to keep the buds fresh like a bag of chips. Grab a humidity pack and after a few hours the bud will be at the perfect moisture level for all types of smoking. The edibles are evenly dosed, and you know exactly what you're taking in. All of their products are labeled, so you know exactly what cannabinoids are present in each product. When you come in, at the display they list the major terpenes that exist in each strain. They educated me on how important the terpenes are, and the roll they play in how high you get, and how it affects you. For example, if it aids with anxiety, depression, pain relief, etc. Sanctuary Medicinals in Gardner is the WHOLE package when it comes to adult-use recreational cannabis- friendly, fast, and informative. 3 thumbs up.

I have been a regular customer of Sanctuary Gvegas since they opened.I have had both good and bad experiences in my opinion. In the beginning the quality and information on the products was very good (flower) As (not much)time has passed things have changed somewhat. The quality of the flower has declined .Old buds .Hairs -? .Premie seeds. Lower thc. Flower14% turns to dust.Still some good quality flower less consistency. THC. INFORMATION. No longer on the menu A restraunt style menu that is not accurate to inventory. When you enter you are asked if you want to talk to a bud tender or are you going to order from the menu. I should have accurate information for both thc content and actual availability on the menu that is presented to me to order from. Every product has thc information listed on the actual packaging in your stapled bag. So .the first time you probably see the Actual thc content is after you have left the facility. So if you order from the menu it is up to the cashier to explain content and dosing because you don't list actual mg or thc% of the product that you order. The third time was enough for me.I paid and got product . I did not get what I was told I was getting. Too many workers and not enough accurate information. Customers that want to know the facts to be able to decide what THEY want.

I don’t like the system requiring customers to declare what they intend to buy, to an employee with a clip board, standing in the entrance foyer, in front of a line of people, requiring the customer to share personal information publicly.

Place is always out of product. Poor management there.

I've been going here since the beginning and they've continually gone down hill in my opinion. I'm a Medical Patient and am very upset at the lack of product available to medical patients. The Recreational side however has way more product to pick from. I'm new to marijuana so I relied on this store to help me out choosing what's right for me and they all, for the most part helped me out. What ticks me off is you tell everyone that medical patients get preferential treatment over recreational but if there's no product what good does this do me? They have what I want on the recreational side but won't sell it to me. This makes no sense to me. They'd be more than happy to sell it to me if I pay the 20% sales tax. I thought that was one of the real benefits of being Medical was that I saved the 20% but now you're trying to get more money from me. There is nothing on the Medical Menu.

I seriously love this place but we're going on a week with no grams or prerolls. I see their flower inventory dwindling by the day. What's the deal? Ican't afford 60 bucks for an eighth. I called to see if they had recieved any more inventory and the girl just goes "negative. " smh

I love the place. Although like everyone else is already saying. You would be making more money if you could put more grams of actual good stuff with thc in it, that would be great. But, you don’t... I don’t know what’s going on, I think I have an idea though. It doesn’t make sense you have grams up the a** for the medical. Just fill some more bottles! Thanks for the dissatisfaction lately. It’s not cool.

I was relatively satisfied with this dispensary after trying several in the area. That was until they started employing a security guy named Bill. He’s clearly better suited to be “securing” prisoners rather than a dispensary. Rude, smarmy, and little patience for what is clearly a specific clientele and atmosphere. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere.
