It's a old school sativa loved it when it was around I really miss Skunk #5 Kentucky Fried Red what happened!?
Hits really hard, I coughed a lot more than usual, but it gets you high fast. Definitely helps with sleeping, fell asleep soon as I laid down. Probably wouldn't smoke it if I had anything I need to do, good for the evenings.
This was the first cannabis plants I smoked that was given a name and we were guaranteed it was what it was called, Skunk deserves it's name and you could never get away with pretending you did not have a bag of it on you. Sweet taste with an all round buzz nicely balanced between cerebrally active and body stone couch lock, great for promoting appetite and sleep, not one i would recommend for daylight or any time you want to be at a higher function or get creative, sure you will have the creative thoughts but they will be in one of those special plans we make for tomorrow, possibly after a good feed and a good sleep.
Amazing. Will have your whole body feeling relaxed.... this is definitely one of the best if not the best strain I've smoked so far. Two thumbs up 👍👍
This strain is popular for a reason. Just a nice high to relax and enjoy anything.
In regards to the post saying that the old school skunk 1 is still around or is the same he is sadly mistaken. If you can produce me a sample that is anywhere close then do it. The Dutch seed banks used it to make a lot of nice strains but since there are no real skunks in Europe the people there do not know what skunk smells like. Skunk is a rodent animal that puts off a foul odor to defend itself from pray. The seed banks there do not have a true breeding skunk 1 and I think it is in part 1 David Watson aka Sam Selenzy aka Sam the Skunk man stole the strain from the sacred seed collective when it was raided in California and took it to Holland. He was a junior member of Sacred seeds and was not a master breeder. I think he was a DEA agent but good luck trying to find that info. I find it funny that after the sacred seed collective was raided David Watson went to Holland and was given the permission to grow. The start of the cannabis cup brought all the big cannabis cultivators together at once and the DEA had began Operation Green Merchant. In 1990 or 91 Neville was arrested in Australia and the United States was trying to extradite him but after a year I believe he made bail and fled back to Europe in which Watson supposedly had taken all the skunk 1 stock. I know people who ordered seeds from the seed bank of Holland in the late 80s and when the early 90s orders were purchased I was told the seeds still had quality but they were all mixed up. Skunk 1 does still exist I believe but only a lucky few have her.
I can be susceptible to paranoia, but love sativa strains. This strain in low doses gives me a great sativa buzz, with virtually no paranoia. Light visual effects, cup of coffee uplift, unencumbered head buzz, and ever so slight body high. Great for shifting my mood when I feel irritable or depressed.
Like a lot of sativas, can lead to paranoia if you over do it. The effects are very pleasant when subtle for those of us who sometimes prefer a "buzz" rather than a "trip." And if you over do it, no worries, the effects calm down quite quickly. Be aware, this one will give you the munchies.
Take a puff, and chill for 5-10 minutes. See how you feel. Want more, take another and repeat. Find that fine point, and you may wanna keep this one in your repitrior.
I would have given skunk number one a rating of five out of five if the flavor and sent wasn't too strong. The musky overtones really helps with the depression the energetic levels of stress and your mood if you want to get out in the day nows the time to do it. It's a very dry mouth it helps a lot with how you feel mood disorders.I sense that this is a creeper for sure if you get higher sticky but the more of a creeper it's going to be but it's a very relaxing creeper kind of like Alcopoco Gold.
