I still like this stain better than most. Tastes good, you get nice and high and it doesn't give you couch lock , so you can get your stuff done during the day.

I tried this strain for the first time a few days ago. I have to say if you can get past the first smell you will be ok. This is 100% a creeper. I took two hits and was like ummmm ok where is the high? Then a few moments later BAM!!! it me like a tone of bricks! I had never been so high in my life! I found myself completely focused and my whole body felt as if it were vibrating. I have only tried a few others ; OG, Purp and northern lights, but this has to top them all! On the down side my eyes got really red and dry, so did my mouth. I recommend keeping juice or water near by. I did get the munchies but they were not as bad as with other strains. All in all a good high. Cant wait to light it up again.

Strain: Permafrost OG Head High: 10 Body High: 3 Tips: Take when in a good mood or around a great atmosphere. If you take it while sketchy, you'll regret it. High lasts all day, even with naps.

Perma Frost has become my all-time favorite strain. I have had some amazing spiritual epiphanies while under her gentle influence, and I even embarked on a 10 mile walk through the brisk night air. It was a great experience, I felt very exhilarated and alive. I find the mindset it puts me in to be very similar to the most positive aspects of a psychedelic trip! This strain also provides a buzzy body high that is extremely relaxing while still allowing you to move around and be active if that's what you're feeling. Peeeeeeace ~ Treefriend

Permafrost was a great strain. It was very energizing and made EVERYTHING hilarious! It also shed a whole new light on a lot of experiences. This is a very social strain, so its best to smoke with your buddies. The smell is incredible, just like pine.

My absolute favorite strain! Extremely uplifting, great for anxiety! I'm prone to paranoia and sensitive to THC in general, so I always tread carefully when it comes to sativa-dominant hybrids. However, Permafrost has consistently provided a wonderful clear-headed and euphoric high, without any paranoia whatsoever. The body high is subtle and I personally did not feel the pain relief was anything significant, but the giddy elated feeling I get from Permafrost is like no other. Would absolutely recommended for anyone with depression or anxiety, also good for socializing or creative work.

I grew this strain from clone in a 100% perlite hempy bucket. The plant was a gem, never a lick of problems and grew to harvest in about 68 days (Flower). It was smallish when I started so I ended up with about 2oz dry. This was slow dried then jar cured to 58% relative humidity and sealed. My test smoke was three bong hits from the product when it reached 58%RH so early if no cure in jars at this time except bringing it down to its desired humidity cure level. The smell is kind of piney skunky spicy aroma I guess it is NOT a fruity or berryish flavor like everyone seems to want, this is "OH BAM what you got NOW!!" smoke. Its smooth, flavorful but it different way then the fruity.. I guess you would call it a true cannabis lovers smoke, because it's a old school flavor before the candy store shit invaded. Not saying their are not some damn good fruity tasting herb, this is just a fine smoke without the fancy flavors. I liked that A LOT about it. Now being not even fully cured the bong hits burned smooth, flavorful and white when done. Expansion in lungs was pretty quick and full, as the smoke lost little when exhaled. The effect is strong and fast at first, kind of like someone is constantly hammering your forehead between your eyes with his/her fist. Funny thing it actually feels relaxing and soothing to you, but if you were devastated it feel like a guy beating the s!@&)* outta your forehead.. lol. Anyway that is how the inset comes on, and it takes a bit to expand outside and around your head like a band of pressure keeping you lifted while you do your things. Your extremities (arms, legs etc) feel light, sometimes not there and tingly sometimes. It calms you down but not to the point where you're couch locked for the night or day, you can slow down and focus sometimes too much as you drift into scenarios on what your focusing on not realizing that you been staring for f)(@*&! 30 mins at it. That's pretty much the waves it comes in and lasts for about two hours or so. I can't wait for full cure this was basically after the slow dry. Sadly I did not clone this plant but I would have made this a keeper strain for a good long time. I am on the look out for some clones to restart it again, for sure.
