Hellyeah. Just got a pre-roll of this and damn am I glad I did. Used to be a big stoner back in high school (20 yrs ago lol) but haven't really toked much since. Have had 3 knee surgeries and have sum killer arthritis. Been looking for sumthin to take the place of painkillers (Been on 10 ml oxy for a couple yrs). My tolerance is super low nowdays, usually 1-2 hits gets me super bombed, sometimes too high. Was apprehensive about the Lights just bc it's been so long but gotta say this is the tits!!! A toke here and there and I'm GOOD!!!! Nice taste, even nicer high. No paranoia/anxiety just a mellow buzz and no pain in my knees. Good all around smoke with good painkilling ability and a smooth high. Definitely will be back at the dispensary to get more!!!

great strain another one of my favorites. Smoking the shatter form, it tastes absolutely wonderful with flavors I cannot place but definitely flowery. Immediately after hitting it I felt a calming feeling even after a very bad day. 10-20 minutes later and I am relaxed, happy, euphoric, and uplifted. My body did not get a heavy high but a nice relaxing but still active buzz. My head high definitely feels good and in a clearer happier place.

Some of the comments I'm reading are dead on accurate. I'm smoking my own grown northern lights. I've smoked it since its trichomes were clear all the way to about 50/50 cloudy/amber. I have some very potent nugs curing in glass jars where they'll stay for up to a couple of months. Smoked early produces a very short head high that's rather pleasant. Makes you smile and want to get out and do something. Smoking when fully ripe or a good 50/50 cloudy/amber allows you to experience the full potential of this amazing indica. You will experience confusion (not a bad kind), time warp/shift, kinda trippy environment when listening to music of any type. Shows and movies seem far more interesting but may seem a bit extreme, especially bad movies. Imagine going to the kitchen to get a glass of ice water and wondering why it seems like it took you 30 minutes to finish your task. I've added a sweetener to mine and so the flavor is incredibly sweet like I bit into a ripe fruit. Build up some resin and smoke some schwag and it will reward you with that sweetness to the crappy bud. This bud improves with time so the patient are rewarded with some of the finest smoke. It should sparkly under light and very hard to break up with your fingers, i imagine a grinder would just make a sticky mess. Use a small pair of sharp scissors to cut this bud into smoke-able pieces, clear your calender because grown properly, one hit will put you on your ass, but you'll be happy doing so.

Summary Before Consuming: I’m writing part of this before smoking tonight because this strain will KNOCK YOU OUT. I’ve suffered from insomnia & non-stop lucid nightmares every night for 2 years now. I’ve seen “sleep specialists”, therapists, psychiatrists, & have exhausted all options of medications to try to mitigate this problem. I’ve either been told there’s nothing wrong with me, or have received medications with terrible side effects that don’t even help. Enter cannabis-For the first time literally in years I was able to sleep without using alcohol & without having constant nightmares, & wake up earlier than usual before my alarm, refreshed rather than in the middle of an anxiety attack which f-cks up the entire day in addition to making my pre-existing anxiety/depression even worse. Cannabis has already helped with my sleeping issues but Northern Lights has been the most effective. One hit from my vape pen last night & after a woody, earthy, clean hit I immediately felt my body tingle & muscles relax with a borderline psychedelic head-in-the-clouds mental relaxation as well. The need to sleep sets in almost instantly & I fall asleep in minutes. If you suffer from insomnia or any sleep disorders I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Northern Lights. Also melts away my major depression & anxiety disorders. I imagine it would work very well for those dealing with pain at night as well. After Consumption Summary: On exhale from one hit, whole body is glued to bed. There’s no getting up. All stress is gone instantly. Body & mind are tingly. Easiest “passing-sober” strain. Just simply mutes the stress, anxiety, dark thoughts.

Because of the purity, I can smoke so much of this stuff. There's almost no head high, this strain allows you to just feel so good emotionally. Queen of Indicas, my favorite strain is still Sour D, but Northern Lights is my second favorite. The relaxation and euphoria is unlike anything else. The northern lights come up is basically like heroine. Keep some Sour D for the days, Northern lights at night, you're set for life.

Settle down there, MZ. It's Northern Lights. Plum idiots with a computer case and 60w can grow this. It's...a decent indica. Walk to the next dispensary: bet it's there.

A great Classic Strain, simply put. I be telling the truth, y'all. A well done crop of Northern Lights should register somewhere in the 22-26% THC zone, and that's plenty strong, for the psychoactive properties of this wondrous flower make it a mind bending experience when smoked. I really like the effects of this "game changer" of the cannabis world. I'm an old timer, myself, having seen many moons, with over four decades of marijuana usage, (always aimed for best flowers or hash available in Southern California), and that said, Northern Lights is in my Top Ten Strains. The batch I'm enjoying now is lab rated at 24.78% THC, and is fresh, well cured and with the distinctive fruity scent and flavor very distinctive of Northern Lights. I get a good rush out of a big hit or two, then settle back for a bit to enjoy. Real nice feeling. This old timer's giving this old Classic, 5 Golden Stars in the Hall of Cannabis Fame.
