This is a review on a Vape only, i would like to try this is in bud form at some point as well. I am a fairly new smoker (less then 6 months) and I had the oppurtunity to pick this up and try it.
First hit was very smooth and suprising. This was my third strain ever and it really educated me on some of the tastes you will experience whole trying new strains. It tasted like nothing id ever had before but in a good way. Idk where they get the name from but it tasted exactly what this leafly said it would taste like Woods, Piney, Lemon all mixed together. It was like licking a clean forest in a way hahaha
Took a bit for the high to really kick in, i thought it was just weak but i was just slow moving in my experience. The high itself lasted a pretty good but i would definitely like to try this in bud form i think it would be better that way. I would definitely buy it again and try it. Had a little dry mouth from it but nothing crazy, definitely had no problem making me comfy on my couch
Vape Cart - Supremely mellow and primarily body high. Typical effects from a balanced strain such as relaxation, aroused and appetite stimulation. One of my very favorite strains.
It is lovely! Very quick onset of relaxation and pain relief. Perfect for a lazy day on the couch.
This goes up there with 9# Hammer for me as a go-to Indica. I LOVE it. This is a very special strain. When I'm all cozy in my blankets, this strain makes me feel like I'm in a golden nest of relaxation and calm.
Anyone who suffers from nerve pain/neuropathy should give this a try! It quiets down my nerves. I don't feel like I'm constantly being electrocuted anymore. I've lost weight because most boxed/bagged/fast food tastes awful now. It's like I taste the base ingredients - mac & cheese tastes like goopy cardboard... ew. It changed the foods I eat...fruit is 10x more amazing! I love honeydew melon & pineapple after I medicate. I do find myself being emotional/sappy/free to feel emotions. I always had issues with showing emotion, even positive ones - now the damn thing won't stop... but it's nice to feel human. I'm not as wound up because I've been able to release some emotions.
Works amazingly for kidney stone pain! I had an emergency one time, someone had to literally run to grab my Pax, helped me turned it on, and I inhaled about 6 puffs... I was dizzy as balls, but the pain & nausea were gone within 30 seconds. Kidney stones are no joke, I pass them a LOT. This was amazing for it and even if I over medicated with this strain, I still wasn't sleepy, I just couldn't move, haha. I do get this buzz feeling, not the same as tingly - feels cool, like I'm vibrating in the forehead as my eyelids schlump down. I'd say for chronic pain or a severe pain, try this.
Also works for angry style PMS and Endometriosis - Kind Louis XIII is my man! If you're already an emotional wreck when you PMS, you can still try it for cramps, but be warned, I get emotional. I'm strong like bull. Most of the time.
As a lover of indica, OG Kush usually is my go-to strain. King Louis XIII, being a cross of OG and LA Confidential definitely piqued my interest. I was not disappointed, in fact I may have found a new favorite. King comes on fast and lasts! While the effects of OG Kush typically wear off around the 30 minute mark, this was still going strong after 90 minutes! King Louis has more of a citrusy taste rather than the piney OG flavor. It had more of a head buzz as well as noticeably intense colors (this is a good one to accompany a trippy, psychedelic cartoon). As a history nerd, I wish more strains were named for historical figures rather than some of the more goofy strain names. Definitely fit for a king!!
I have gotten very picky with strains over the past few months because I don’t want to have a panic attack from smoking something too strong. That’s where King Louie comes in. This weed has made me anxious a couple of times but it has never been debilitating or caused full-blown panic. It goes away within minutes and is relatively gentle compared to other manual breathing strains, lol. I’ve actually gotten this strain three times in a row now because I find the effects to be very relaxing with little risk of feeling uncomfortable. If you’re looking for something to watch tv and eat snacks with in a good mood, look no further.
Dope strain… also helps with nausea
