From my personal notes and not for reprint: Genetics: (H)Sunset Sherbet x (H)Thin Mint GSC. Known throughout the industry as the “Larry Bird” cut of Gelato. It’s a seemingly 50/50 genetic cross between Sativa and Indica with the best traits of both. Gelato #33, is a balanced hybrid of compact [staying true to its Cookie genetics]. dark green buds, with purple leaf highlights and dark red pistils all lightly frosted in trichomes. Terpenes: 3. The Sativa side is dominant, i.e. Gas, Caramel, with some Indica floral, sweet and sour musk. Taste: 4. A swirling mix of sweet, caramel, gas, cinnamon, floral, and musk. Effects: 4. A little slow on the take-off but then takes you up and gets you nicely stoned yet remaining focused as well. It starts as more of a head high, feeling uplifted, Focused, Cerebral, Happy and euphoric, invigorating mind and body. As time goes on, the more introspective and relaxing elements of the experience begin to set in and one is left feeling pleasantly contemplative, as their body slowly melts into the surroundings. Despite the tension-relieving effects of the body high, there is little risk of a couchlock, nor the munchies, due to this flower’s well-balanced genetics. As such, Gelato is a perfect choice for use in the afternoon and early evening. Prescribe for: depression, anxiety, weight loss, stress, tension, nausea, and mild pain. THC: 20.61%

Sexy, Fun, Uplifting, Carefree, Talkative, Slightly Drowsy, Creative

I copped this straight from Cali. This is by far one of my favorite strains, ever. I put this up there with Blue Dream and Honey Bananas. I feel so euphoric and so got damn happy. I was listening to some psychedelic rock and every beat felt like it touched my skin. And, did I mention how sexy it made me feel? Damn... I felt like Halle Barry in “Swordfish”. Deadass. I also feel creative —like I want to paint something— and goofy AF. 5/5 stars from me.

Love this strain! Tried it today very tasty and the high is so pleasant. This is one of the perfect hybrids in my opinion!

As a high-tolerance smoker, it can be a challenge to find buds that are worth my time. GELATO 33 IS! A super tasty strain, this gelato is easy to smoke and hits incredibly fast. I look for strains that are happy and keep my anxiety at bay- this definitely fits the bill. The nose on these buds is FIRE and they are incredibly pretty- shots of purple, lots of orange hairs, and absolutely covered in frost. This has quickly become my go-to all-day smoke... no drowsiness or lethargy and I still feel like myself, only happier!

Gelato #33 is an awesome phenotype really has been a great strain for me either day or night the last batch I had was 27.86%. For some it may be a better night time strain. Other then that it taste great smelled good looks good nice orange hairs purple hues everywhere for whatever that’s worth. I’ll continue to buy this strain as I already do. Definitely a strain you would like to try pick some up next time you see it in your local dispensary!!

I have never written a strain review before but after smoking this strain I felt I needed to share the experience of this potent weed strain. The smell was orange mixed with earth. Smell was also very strong. If you open the pack in a room it will definitely stink the place out. When burnt it smelt like lavender with with wood and earthy notes. The smoke was very smooth and flavourful, Berry flavours, it tasted so good I would let the smoke settle in my mouth for a few seconds before inhaling. The effects came on very heavy. It starts with a psychedelic and energetic head rush that lasts a long time. After a while the high settles with a buzzing body sensation that lasts even longer. This weed gave me uncontrollable giggles and extreme feelings of contentment and euphoria. This is officially my favourite strain and Gelato definitely lives up to the hype. As best as you can get, please smoke with caution because it can get overwhelming. You will lose your senses from this powerful strain if you over indulge.
