Alaskan Thunderfuck is certainly one magnificent strain. A creeper that sneaks up on you and delivers one hell of a sativa jolt, mixing also with a late-onset indica-type couch-lock, providing a two in one hit in one high.
It is easy on the lungs and permeates a minty aroma and taste. Buds are light in color with primarily orange hairs - extremely pungent and reeks of freshness and potency, shining trichomes aplenty. Highly euphoric at first with a finishing couch-lock around 1 1/2 hours in. Excellent bud - top shelf for sure!
Smelt like Christmas, tasted like Christmas, looked like Christmas.. Sweet baby Jesus, it even felt like Christmas!!!
My favorite strain of all time is Adak - which is a cross between Alaskan Thunderfuck & AK47. Leafly doesn't have Adak in their strain library so I'm reviewing ATF instead. If you have anxiety - this is the stain for you. Whether you're just a little stressed or on the brink of a panic attack - this stain will calm you down, relieve the anxiety nausea & allow you to mellow out.
yooooooo.. lemme tell you. So I had maybe 2 or 3 hits & immediately started smiling for no reason. I was laughing at nothing & trying to stop, but only laughed even harder. I then had another 2 or 3 hits & my eyes felt squinty af, I was trying to walk straight & my body wanted to go a different way & I felt as if I was in that scene from the movie Hunger Games where the girl gets stung by that killer bee & she's trippin out.. I then got hungry af & ate sushi & right after I made myself 2 waffles, but when I finished I was wondering where the 2nd waffle went so I made myself 1 more waffle bc I didn't remember eating it when in reality I ate 3 whole waffles. I definitely slept so good that night, definitely might wanna smoke this again, definitely a trip I will remember lmaooooooo
Skunky to Lemon Pine aroma
Medium Expansion with a citrus exhale
The Calm Focus after the soaring or uplifting head effects(30 to 45min) is a noteworthy aspect of the strain. The High is felt throughout the head, most notably the eyes, resulting in enhanced color perception in both Primary and Peripheral Fields of Vision, colors stand out on the object you are looking at, or if you are outdoors, landscapes/cityscapes become sparkly and vibrant(The Boondocks "Medical Man" episode is a good illustration of the visual effects).
Good for stomach problems with some appetite stimulation, there is a moderate amount of analgesia, and slight muscle relaxation.
This strain makes you want to do something, go out and about, and indulge your senses.

I smoked some of this that was actually grown in the Manatuska Valley in the early 80s and it was the most intense weed I have ever smoked. One of the reasons it was so potent was because of the grow conditions in the Manatuska Valley. I recently gave this strain a go and although the stuff I recently smoked didn't come close to the stuff from back in the day, it was still really really good. If you are looking to get incredibly high, this is one to try.
Amazing strain, not recommended for first time users because of its intense body high. A lot of visuals have been reported while using this strain
I tried this ATF strain for the first time recently.
I have been using cannabis flowers since 1965.
I'm over 60 years old now and cannabis is the only medicine I use, period.
So with that said I think the ATF I picked up at my dispensary is one of the most stellar and most powerful cannabis flowers I have ever experienced in my life!
I highly recommend it for a heavenly distraction from severe osteoarthritis pain, and providing me with some added flexibility and mobility.
