Staff is not as knowledgeable, or friendly as some of other dispensary’s.

Most staff is very knowledgable. Good quality and variety for 1/8ths but for those who want to buy in 1/4s or higher not much to choose from. Great convenient location to downtown, but you may need to park across the street. Best prices I have seen out there yet! The daily deals and happy hours are legit.

Visiting Tacoma from Seattle, I stopped by this place to pick up some MJ medicine after reading some positive reviews. What a gross, regrettable mistake and waste of time! I am an older, retired attorney in my late 60s and have been practicing law in Washington State for almost four decades. At the entrance, I was confronted by two burly, thuggish-looking youngsters that demanded I couldn't enter with my single-shoulder, black sling purse -- which is small and only holds my keys, wallet and phone. When I inquired whether women were also required to give up their purses before entry, they told me no...but that I wasn't a woman and, even if I was gay, I couldn't come in with my purse. When I told them that I was an attorney and their policy was sexist and a violation of Equal Protection and due process under the law, they scoffed at that and demanded to see my "credentials." No doubt, their aggressive, questioning posture was due in part to my being a person of color. After all that, I took the time to retrieve my Washington State Bar Association card from my wallet and presented it to them, whereupon they glowered at me and dismissively said it didn't matter and I couldn't enter regardless, even physically puffing out their chests as if to dare me to try something. It was a comical incident straight out of grade school. In an era of Trump-fostered policies of sexism and racism, I would caution everyone -- especially people of color and members of the LGBTQ community -- to NOT patronize this business. Clearly, if the owners of this bud dispensary hire young, dim-witted, disrespectful thugs like this for security and allow them the discretion to make executive managerial decisions...then this business does not deserve to survive in a very competitive cannabis market. There are so many other better choices out there, bud dispensaries with truly professional, courteous staff that want your business and hard-earned dollars, and don't hassle their customers with juvenile attitude. Stay away...far away!

Urban Bud is the best and most polite dispensary that I've personally been to so far. the staff is very patient and informative, I would definitely recommend shopping here..

Great store with knowledgeable budtenders and a nice layout. There are counters on both sides of the store so you can quickly and easily Check out. Great selection and awesome daily deals. Only 4 starts for service though because both the menus on their website and on Leafly are never correct. It can say that it was updated an hour ago. You then go and ask for a certain product and the budtender tells you it's been a few days since they've had it in stock. If you can correctly update what's in stock, you'll be 5 stars for sure.

Great prices and strains

I bought an 8th of jedi kush and a quarter of amnesia haze.I felt beyond ripped off. There were more stems then weed with both types. It was super dry. Most shops ive been to will bring more then one package for u to choose from. This shop did not. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning

I like that transformation from seedy store front to awesome weed shop when you walk through the door. Convenient. Our bud tender noticed a fat stem in one of the products we were going to buy; switched it out for a better package. We have gone to five stores in the area, and this was the only one where we felt the bud tender cared about selling the best weed on the shelf.

It's cool

The top shelf products always "disappear" from the back - staff hoards all the best product. Item will be on the menu, yet unavailable for purchase. You can even order it, they'll message saying its ready, you get there and they'll tell you they don't have it. I'd say go elsewhere, but you cant, as this company has purchased almost every other store in town!! so... 🙄yay for legal weed... 👎👎 zero stars!
