All I can say is WOW!!!! First off they have the absolute best deals on half oz and oz from Olympia to Tacoma, where of course they are located. And the inside is just fantastic. All of the budtenders were happy and smiling it was a beautiful scene. They didn't have the Blue Dream I was originally coming in for but not to fear, the individual helping me recommended Harambe instead which just for names sake was awsome but is hands down my new favorite hybrid. 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10 I will be making this my regular shop!!!!!!

This shop has a few key things going for it... a "buyer" who knows good product, budtenders who know what is quality and where the good values are in the store, and daily specials that allow you to shop for less if you plan your visits. I get 20% off flower a few days a week and 20% off oils and concentrates a couple days a week...can't beat it. The quality of weed is up to the Vendor. This shop has many good product lines along with the common crapola you find everywhere. That's where a smart budtender is key. I have largely had great experiences here, Cynthia is a shiny soul who takes her time helping people get the right strain, there are several gentlemen here who are great, too...only one very young lady that works here is a problem, she is aloof, distant, you ask for a given strain and she just says "nope." with a sarcastic face, no further recommendations offered... I have walked out when she was my clerk. Can't call her a budtender, she has never exhibited knowledge of product... but I have learned to stay out of her line. Barring this one bad apple, Erroll's crew is top notch.

Best Shop in Tacoma!! it's like my second home, everybody is very knowledgeable, and they always try their best to find what you need. I love this place!

Located just minutes from the Tacoma Dome in the heart of downtown Tacoma, this recreational marijuana spot feels more like an Apple Store than your typical weed dispensary. Don't get me wrong, the outside of the building isn't very attractive and there are usually a few interesting characters waiting for the bus out front, however as soon as you enter this store you are magically transitioned to a spacious, high ceiling urban loft style retail space and greeted by friendly staff who are there solely to help you find the best products at your price range. The security and bud tenders couldn't be more helpful and knowledgeable and the product selection is healthy... Good mix of dry flower, pre rolled joints, concentrates, edibles, grinders, pipes and other accessories. Make sure to go during the last two hours they are open each day to take advantage of their happy hour pricing... 10% off dry flower. They do not take credit card (like most rec stores) but their ATM only charges $1.50 so if you don't have cash, it is a cheap place to stock back up. Also make sure to ask for a punch card since they reward people for repeat business and ask about specials.

The atmosphere in the store is great. Walk in smiling people .hardly a line . tenders willing to show me what they got and they try to show you cheapest but best for your money. Not just sell you what is popular or what they have a overstock on. Understanding i drive from auburn and having what they say they have on the menu. Call first to make sure .. But they wont bs u and say they have something they dont just to get you in.

This is my other go-to store in Tacoma, especially when I'm buying bulk or need a specific strain. These guys have so much variety and some seriously phenomenal deals. The staff is upbeat and friendly, though I don't know how knowledgeable since I always know what I want here. I feel bad giving the atmosphere 4 stars as the owner made the space very nice, but I'm personally adverse to the high ceiling, modern-styled stores.

Any bud smoker knows the truth about who is the most knowledgeable and experienced, not to mention the best prices. if you think the selection is smaller it's because they only buy from quality bud growers. if you find quality that you think is good talk to management and they will try to purchase it for you.

The first time I went to this shop about 6 weeks ago I wasn’t super impressed by the shop itself - seemed kind of empty and dark. The budtender that helped me the first time was lovely and recommended some nice strains and was knowledgable about effects and the store deals to make the best of the deals. And math. I went back tonight (I liked the Zoot drops I got there last time and didn’t want to hunt for another shop that had those when Urban Bud is on my way home.) I was pleasantly surprised! It appears they’re slowly working on adding to the store, with a second checkout area displaying more of the edibles and concentrates. They also had a much larger selection of pipes I was happy to see. A few small hand pipes, glass and silicone bongs, and a lot of dab rigs. Most were basic but it looks like they’re adding more, and more unique pieces. Given how much they’ve grown in two months I’m eager to keep visiting to see new stock and how they flesh out the front area with all the glass.

A wide variety of selections from the low to high end as far as flower. They carry a lot of other products too like salves, edibles, tinctures, extracts, etc. The budtenders were very polite and knowledgable. They had to deal with an upset customer over a misunderstanding with happy hour and went out of their way to make it right but also reaffirm their business practices. Quiet and calm atmosphere and the music brought me way back. I was just visiting but if I return to Tacoma this would definitely be the shop I return to.

Visiting Tacoma from Seattle, I stopped by this place to pick up some MJ medicine after reading some positive reviews. What a gross, regrettable mistake and waste of time! I am an older, retired attorney in my late 60s and have been practicing law in Washington State for almost four decades. At the entrance, I was confronted by two burly, thuggish-looking youngsters that demanded I couldn't enter with my single-shoulder, black sling purse -- which is small and only holds my keys, wallet and phone. When I inquired whether women were also required to give up their purses before entry, they told me no...but that I wasn't a woman and, even if I was gay, I couldn't come in with my purse. When I told them that I was an attorney and their policy was sexist and a violation of Equal Protection and due process under the law, they scoffed at that and demanded to see my "credentials." No doubt, their aggressive, questioning posture was due in part to my being a person of color. After all that, I took the time to retrieve my Washington State Bar Association card from my wallet and presented it to them, whereupon they glowered at me and dismissively said it didn't matter and I couldn't enter regardless, even physically puffing out their chests as if to dare me to try something. It was a comical incident straight out of grade school. In an era of Trump-fostered policies of sexism and racism, I would caution everyone -- especially people of color and members of the LGBTQ community -- to NOT patronize this business. Clearly, if the owners of this bud dispensary hire young, dim-witted, disrespectful thugs like this for security and allow them the discretion to make executive managerial decisions...then this business does not deserve to survive in a very competitive cannabis market. There are so many other better choices out there, bud dispensaries with truly professional, courteous staff that want your business and hard-earned dollars, and don't hassle their customers with juvenile attitude. Stay away...far away!

took my out of town brother in law here after visiting the other ranier shop... its a little empty atm with a lot more room that the othe site.. it also dost have every product the "main" store has...

I visit this store almost everyday, the only reason I would go anywhere else is if they didn't have a strain that I wanted. Very great place!

The best daily deals, with a wide variety of quality products. Lots of concentrates at a good price range. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They also offer a nice loyalty program. Highly recommend Urban Bud, it's my favorite shop in Tacoma.

one of the best shops in wa sekai is the best budtender I have ever had

it was a great experience but the bud i received was not great at all. it was dry and crumbled in to dust when i broke it down. it had a harvest date of 4/2016. so i am not sure if it was just old or what.

Staff is not as knowledgeable, or friendly as some of other dispensary’s.

Urban Bud is the best and most polite dispensary that I've personally been to so far. the staff is very patient and informative, I would definitely recommend shopping here..

I love you guys! wish you would do something about this!! People dont buy LUCKY DEVIL TANGIE COOKIES..... shit is loaded with seeds!
