Before January it was great. Big selection. Fast service. Now it seems rec has taken precedence over medical. Placed online order. Picked it up only 3 people in medical room and we all waited over half hour but the rec patients were going in fast. Only 1 cashier for medical but 3-4 for rec. also very limited selection for med but way more for rec. really really Unfair

If you’re a medical patient you know that they have had a severely limited selection for months then Jan 1 happens and I encourage any med patient to look at the rec menu clearly rec has been given priority over this dispensaries medical patients. It really is a shame most of the staff are great and knowledgeable I know it is not their fault that this decision was made at a corporate level. I would advise any med patient not to waste their time with this dispensary anymore.

3 months ago I would have given this place 4-5 stars. Now instead of a comforting environment with a wide range of products, and meaningful weekly deals, it’s a soulless cash grab with almost nothing available. It used to feel very healing, tranquil and compassionate. Now it feels like queuing up in 80’s era Soviet Russia for a sack of potatoes. I will say that the people still are friendly and compassionate, but the business has turned to crap.

My caretaker (wife) and I went to a dispensary for the first time this weekend. I was nervous and apprehensive. I was afraid of the stigma and didn't want to be judged. Much to my delight, the entire experience was fantastic. Sure there are two locked doors that you go through one at a time which is a tad intimidating the first time, but the security guard/front desk guy, Jay, was incredibly friendly and personable. So right away I felt at ease. Then you're shown into a waiting room akin to a high-end doctor's office. It was clean and rather chic, complete with giant flat panel tv and modern decor. Once in the waiting area, you are given the menu at that exact point in time. They keep them up-to-the-minute accurate if they can, which is nice. I wish they had options in the way of teas or edibles when I went there but was told they do have them at times so I should keep checking back. I was very relieved to be surrounded with others who are just looking for symptom relief just as I was instead of stoners just looking to take advantage of the system. I also never felt judged since my illness isn't as visible as some others. I have Multiple Sclerosis that has taken away my ability to work. I'm in a lot of pain and always dealing with neurological symptoms that are not always visible on the outside. After 15 minutes, we were ushered into a back office with similar esthetics. There was a worker here named Joe that was very kind, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. I didn't catch his job title but think of him as sort of a cannabis concierge, if that makes sense. He was there to answer any and all questions we had, and we had a TON! But he had sincere answers to every one of my questions and concerns. He helped me make the best decision of product type and strain to fit my lifestyle, home, and specific medical concerns. It was incredibly fascinating and reassuring. Once, we made a decision, he took our payment (cash only) and it quickly was brought to a sliding window within the room. Then Joe walked me through how the vaporizer works and answered more questions we had. Then we were ushered back into the waiting room and then back out of the suite (still one at a time... this threw me off again, which was embarrassing. Rookie mistake. Another patient commented in the background that "we all remember our first time!" Lol). It was a smooth experience, only made better by the incredible quality of people that work there. I am also thrilled to report that the strain I bought gave me 6 solid hours of being pain free and a full night's sleep! I hadn't been pain free in 7 years! I will definitely be back! Thanks Jay, Joe and PharmaCannis!

Horrible inventory! Awesome staff, until recently. The new employees don’t seem to be very knowledgeable and per much stand around and talk! Online orders have gotten to an extensive wait! At one time, there was NO FLOWER, and 21 items!! Really???? I don’t know what’s going on, but it needs to change, or you will lose A LOT of customers. No disrespect, to anyone personally, but it’s gotta change. Thank you

A few set backs, and a long waiting period in the waiting lounge, but it was the first day in business. So It can be forgiven. I will return soon to check out any new product they have available. First day, they only had 4 different strains available for purchase, but anticipated more products coming soon. I will definitely check them out again. First day it was $45 cash, no ATM in the building, so keep this in mind. Very helpful staff, I met Mike, he was nice, I met Joe he's very cool and the Manager of Security was very helpful, calm and easy to talk to.

Medical patient, placed online order which was confirmed ready for pickup. After waiting 40 minutes and no medical patients waiting before me had been helped so I left. They appear to have left their med patients out in the cold after Jan 1.

Medical takes forever, and they let the recreational people in seven at a time.

Just got a txt on how my order was. Sadly I’m still sitting here waiting to pick it up. Was great before 1/1/20. Unfortunately medicinal seems to be on the back burner now. 1 register, while recreational has 4-5. My 30 min wait now at 45 Mins and the wait won’t be over anytime soon.

I love this dispensary, but the lack of selection right now has me contemplating on switching to another dispensary. I know the workers said we should switch to an all medical dispensary, but driving to Arlington Hgts from this location is far.

Service is and always has been great. I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now and that is not what this about. As a PATIENT, I NEED my meds. Went the other day and only 4 flowers on hand, 34 menu items in total. They say it’s a state shortage but dispensary closer to me has literally 25+ flower selection. From 5 different growers. Was told by workers here that medical would come before recreational, but as of now, looks like that isn’t the case. Where did all of your product go? If it doesn’t change before recreational is legal and they don’t start having medicine on hand for their medical patients I will be forced to find a new dispensary. Driving 1.5 hrs to find out they only have 4 flower selections on the menu is not fathomable for anyone. Simply ridiculous. Not to mention the number of times I only get half belly points, or they forget to give me my discounts. Things need to change here ASAP.

I swear if I have to wait after doing an online order what’s the purpose. You only have 1 person handling the medical patients while 2 and 3 people going in for recreational purposes. So the people who need it for pain have to wait and walk damn near 3 blocks to get in when there are clearly parking spaces available but the parking lot is blocked. Used to love this place now I need to find a medical only spot to switch to.

I love the workers here. They are great and this isn’t a shot at them. The place does have issues though if you are a medical patient. It’s not the workers fault but the owners have definitely made it known they care only about the money aspect and not the medical patients. Sure there is a line for everyone. It’s just kinda crazy they have 5 retail cash registers to one medical...I’ll sit and watch 5-6 people go in and out every 5 mins and sit for 45 mins waiting. If you are on the medical side I’d recommend another place. I could drive to St. Charles and back before even being seen here for medical. Pretty messed up...shame on the owner

I was really disappointed with the lack of communication provided by this location before telling everyone at approximately 8P that they would not be serving the rest of the patrons in line and to come back later. I definitely understand this was the first day of recreational cannabis and there would be glitches. I arrived before 5P and made it in the building until the fire alarm sent me back outside in the cold. Initially, there was a tease that a VIP ticket would be offered to allow some to return with priority. However, no one from the staff came to address the crowd while everyone waited outside for almost an hour watching the fire department inspect the building before hearing the bad news.

I love this place and love the people even more. Always super helpful and willing to let me ask a bunch of questions while never making me feel rushed. Also a big fan of the addition of the pickup orders. However, as a medical patient who has spent thousands of dollars to find the right combination of meds that work, the current inventory is a real problem. I’d hate to go somewhere else, but may be forced to if the inventory doesn’t improve. It blows my mind that as a medical marijuana patient, the dispensary has zero flower to purchase, but I can buy a thc infused energy drink. I get supply/demand, growth of medical program and all that, but wow that’s frustrating. Really though, everything else about this place is top notch and I hope the inventory improves ASAP as my quality of life depends on it at this point.

Very nice experiences here. Only suggestion is to be open more hours as other places are. Otherwise it's great.

I enjoyed being a customer with Pharmacannis/Verilife at the North Aurora dispensary for over 3 years. The service was excellent, until you chose to make the dispensary dual medical/recreational. Me and many other patients here have expressed that it has been made clear by the way you've handled your business that your priority is on recreational customers, rather than the patients who have been loyal customers helping to build your business over the past several years. Our selection is severely reduced, and even with preorders we have to wait sometimes over an hour after it's filled to get to a register, since you've decided to give all but one register over for recreational business. We watch as 30-40 recreational customers are checked out before we're taken back. We also have to show our medical cards three times just to enter the building. I have really enjoyed your employees service, they are all very good and I will miss them. Several have stated their feedback from patients isn't considered seriously by the company. Within the next month I will be switching to a non-Verilife dispensary due to the way your company has handled the switch to recreational business. I am also planning to send a letter to the state informing them of how marijuana patients have suffered due to allowing medical dispensaries to also do business in recreational sales. Sincerely, Katherine Bell

It says it's a Medical facility. But it is NOT a medical facility, it is a recreational facility. Yes they do serve medical patients. But their priority is Recreational not Medical. They only have one register for Medical and around 4-5 for Recreational. I only drove to this dispensary because it was listed as a medical, not a Recreational, and I am aware that all medical dispensaries serve Recreational, but they put medical first, because we pay a Premium just to have access to our medicine so it seems right they should put medical first, or at least separate. Besides them serving recreational over medical had good products.

Usually a great experience, but the so called prioritization of medical patients is a joke. My dad can barely stand and waited longer than many recreational users simply because they only have one computer available. Didn't get him a place to sit either, wouldn't let him in the tiny waiting room as it was "too full". Staff is nice and product it's good but they need to reevaluate medical patient needs ahead of kids looking for a buzz.

I am a medical patient and have been a customer in Aroura for about a year. I am sorry to say that the customer service for medical patients has diminished. Ever since the recreational customers have come on board. Medical patients have been granted one register while recreational has I believe 4 or 5 registers. The personable service you used to get is gone, now instead you get rushed. On top of that they took our daily and weekly sales away.
