This is my favorite shop hands down. The medication is always insane and the staff is insanely knowledgeable and friendly. Not only is it the best customer service I've had at any dispensary but probably the best customer service I've had anywhere in my life. I avoided this place for awhile because it was slightly out of my way and that was a huge mistake.

The staff was very helpful with helping me find the right edibles, and they were great at recommending the best strains for me.

Awesome place. Seller was very informative and polite good conversation and tons of selection. Got a thin mint preroll upon first visit and loved it no weird taste in mouth didn't taste like chemicals. Would recommend

I try to manage my pain without meds because I find most dispensaries uncomfortable and so I was extremely nervous about my first visit to Monarch. The budtender was very helpful and she was very friendly. The selection was broad and the price range was not bad at all. I will be back soon and I will recommend it everyone.

Amalia and all the staff at Monarch are utmost professionals, the dispensary is first rate, and the entire experience is top-shelf. They took the time to answer my many questions thoroughly--their knowledge of various meds is obvious. "Traditional" pharmacies could learn a lot from Monarch!

Very great service and product. Nice layout and business areas. Korri was my guide for my initial visit. She knows her products and effecitive medicines.

A little on the expensive donation side, but you get what you pay for. Best quality meds and great customer service. I will be coming back for more of that Godfather OG for sure.

They always have a nice selection of meds out. I really like this place because it is just like walking into a doctors office. Good meds, the only downside is how high the prices are here. So far this is my favorite dispensary I have visited. Knowledgeable budtenders. I will be back, I just wish they had more specials running or lower donation prices.

My first dispensary ever visited and it was the best experience i could have hoped to have. They were completely inviting and informative! Every strain recommended has been wonderful in helping with my back problems and i would highly suggest here to future customers!

This is the only dispensary in north Scottsdale so it's convenient if you live in that part of the Valley as I do. Frankly though I doubt I'd go back. The man who waited on me: 1.. Couldn't answer the question about whether the grows were organic. He punted on that question with the response "well we started adding some new nutrients recently", but couldn't identify which ones. 2. I asked if there were any specials and he said "we have $200/half oz of Mothers Helper. I asked why such a popular strain was on sale and whether if the weed was older or otherwise slightly lower quality. He said: "No, we just grow a lot of it". He then showed me the packages and they were all harvested in July. It's December now so I'd consider that near or at expiration, or at least worth mentioning in response to my specific question about the age of the herb. 3. I'm a relative newbie so I asked how to best select among the available pre-packs of herb. At that point, he said: "So is there anything you do want to get today"? I asked if he needed to move on and remarkably he said "Yes"! Wow. Hardly the service I'd expect at any MMJ dispensary, but especially one in Scottsdale and at the top of the price range for the Phoenix area.

So, this has been the location ive been going to for the last couple years since ive had my card. In fact, its the only place ive gone to since ive had my card for a couple years. I like it because they know my name when I walk in, and I know exactly what I want. I used to rank this place all 5-stars, until i hopped on the bus (i dont drive) and started visiting other dispensaries around the valley. Im now ranking this place 1 to 2 stars because I realized Monarch pretty much has the same stuff on "Happy-Hour" that theyve had.... well, since ive been going there. I was shocked to see chocolope on happy-hour about 2 months back, but sad to see that was the *only* new thing on special. They just took down willies wonder which has been on special for almost 2 years. Blueberry is back on special..... again, probably one of their worst flowers on special and also another flower thats no stranger to being on special for years. They have a couple CBD's on special that they added but I dont touch CBD's. But monarch, do you get what im saying? Theres a dispensary by the I-17 that has over 40 flowers!!! top, mid, and bottom shelf. I was able to get a 8th of something top shelf, for the price of what I was paying Monarch to purchase their 8th on happy-hour/special. And lately I havent been impressed with their flowers theyre putting on special. Last batch of chocolope I got wasnt great. And I only get stuff on special/happy-hour. Im still going to give monarch a chance, heck its pretty much down the street for me so taking my bike or skateboarding isnt a problem. So when Im in need of a quick gram with less selections i'll probably head there. But i'll probably be heading to the place(s) that have new flowers on their menu and cycle them out. Monarch: you need to get new flowers? I know youre trying to do your "Huxton" blend but my gosh. Get some new flowers in there. I do see you added like 1 or 2 new flowers..... but youre menu has been the same forever! Monarch, get more flowers!!!!!

They honestly care about their patients. It is refreshing to see that in this industry...

Best in the valley, period! Atmosphere is very peaceful and welcoming. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Extensive menu and dependable quality. No reason to go anywhere else.

I think this is a great dispensary! My only complaint is the high prices! Most dispensaries are including tax in their menu prices, or they give a value that will equal $50 or $60 for an 1/8. So when top shelf on your menu says $65 it is really $70+ $90 for a gram of concentrate is ridiculous. There are many quality competitors in town with top shelf meds and lower pricing. If you didn't have your specials I wouldn't come in.

I love Monarch. A previous review knocked the specials but I got 10% off my first ten visits (which is a good deal when you're dropping a lot of dough) and their early bird menu sells eighths of quality bud for $35. I take advantage of it often. They also sell eighths of shake for $35 (which isn't as pretty, no, but these are eighths of shake from high quality bud, with lots of keif to collect) which is great if you miss the early bird but only have $35 to spend. The "budtenders" are all super nice and helpful, they know a lot about their product and will direct you to the right med to suit your needs. They are also super close to me so that's a bonus. Professional, clean and well run. I will go to Monarch everytime.

Excellent experience. My "salesperson" Kimberly, was knowledgeable and patient as she answered my questions and guided me to the products best suited for my needs.

I'd been going to this location as Monarch for years. I don't like the store now, it's just weird with all the tablets and like a cage where they get your product. Plus what I was actually offended by and why I won't be returning -- don't you dare touch a sealed container of flower to look more closely at it, they'll tell you it's regulation even though I think my hands were just as clean as the girl "helping" me. There are no good discounts any longer either, it's set up too much for recreational sale now since it's a chain. Too bad I loved Monarch.
