Green Goods – Phoenix (Medical)

I like this place in general (the $99 ounces are good 75% of the time) and have been buying flower here for a couple years but I’m disappointed to see the prices go up in preparation for recreational. The industry is going to continue to make a financial killing, you don’t have to participate in the gouging of patients.

No more daily deals. My medicine just doubled in price. Thanks a lot.

No more deals for medical patients? I won’t be coming back.

JARS Cannabis - New River (Rec)

I had a great experience here today. They have a decent new patient special (30% off your first purchase) so I was able to get $300 worth of product for $210. There was a varied selection of concentrates and they were reasonably priced. I will say I wish I could’ve gotten through to someone on the phone to ask some questions before placing my order. The phone number on leafly and google took me straight to a full voicemail box. Also a couple of grams of shatter that I ordered weren’t included with the rest of my stuff (possibly they were out stock?) but I wasn’t informed of that or given a chance to replace them with something else before my order was brought out to my car. Since I wasn’t charged for them and covid-19 is a concern I decided not to hop out of my car and bother the bud-tenders (who were very kind and prompt) about it but I wish communication had been a little clearer. Overall I’m really happy with the quality and price of the items I purchased and would recommend this place, especially for concentrate enthusiasts on a budget.

Nirvana Center - Globe111

So I wasn’t thrilled with my experience at the Phoenix location of this dispensary. I ended up buying something I wouldn’t have purchased if I’d been properly informed about it. However, I understand that these things happen, and the menu/sales here are so good that I wanted to give them a second chance. I’m so glad I came to the Glendale spot this time. The staff was really welcoming and I felt like I got excellent value for what I spent. The budtender Tricia was really sweet and knowledgeable. She was also patient with my dad who can be grouchy. It’s a little far from my house but is worth the drive for the atmosphere and the reasonably priced meds.

I drove an hour out of my way to take advantage of the $80 ounces. When I arrived they only had one strain left. I was hesitant to purchase it, I considered going elsewhere, but I was assured I would be happy with it. It looked and smelled great. Unfortunately, I got home only to find out on leafly that I had purchased a high CBD, low THC strain. It would’ve been nice if I’d been informed of that before I bought it. I need the sedation and mental effects of a higher THC strain. I know better than to think that any of these dispensaries will offer refunds (I’ve never had any luck, even when returning clearly defective cartridges.) Not to mention, I can’t afford the gas to get back over there and I don’t have the energy to do battle with anyone. I’m not saying this place is not worth visiting, but if you do hit them up make sure you ask a lot of questions because they weren’t forthcoming with me at all.

Harvest - Scottsdale - Natural Selections

Classy, upscale location. You can get some good deals if you are shrewd but otherwise pricing is on par with other Scottsdale dispensaries. The flower I tried (purple urkle) was great quality. Smelled, tasted, and looked good. The high was pleasant and sedating. The crumble was also top quality. My budtender was very knowledgeable and I will definitely be returning.

Nature's Medicines - Fountain Hills

I love Nature's Med for many reasons. The selection is wide and ever-changing, and the pricing can't be beat. $10 grams are a staple here whereas other dispensaries only offer that on special, and it's typically just the stock they're looking to get rid of. The drive in from Scottsdale is beyond breathtaking as well and generally low traffic. Above all, they weigh your order in front of you and do a good job of choosing the best buds and trimming the stem weight. I highly recommend Nature's Med and have made it my sole dispensary since I can no longer pay Scottsdale prices for mediocre medicine.

The Mint Cannabis - Scottsdale

I love Monarch. A previous review knocked the specials but I got 10% off my first ten visits (which is a good deal when you're dropping a lot of dough) and their early bird menu sells eighths of quality bud for $35. I take advantage of it often. They also sell eighths of shake for $35 (which isn't as pretty, no, but these are eighths of shake from high quality bud, with lots of keif to collect) which is great if you miss the early bird but only have $35 to spend. The "budtenders" are all super nice and helpful, they know a lot about their product and will direct you to the right med to suit your needs. They are also super close to me so that's a bonus. Professional, clean and well run. I will go to Monarch everytime.

AAA Holistic

Wade was an amazing caregiver and I will absolutely be using AAA Holistic again. It took roughly two hours for him to arrive, but on a busy day that was no big thing and he kept me updated as to his location so I wasn't at all left in the dark. He arrived exactly when he said he was going to with several strains, a few Indicas and a Hybrid or two. All of them looked lovely, smelled great, with big, dense buds that were covered in trichomes and varied widely in color from piney dark green with little red hairs to light green with purple tint and frosty trichomes. He was knowledgeable about the product as well as the industry and we had a good talk about his wares and their various uses. Coolest of all, he gave me a free bottle of Indica tincture which has proven to be AMAZING and a hemp balm of sorts for the skin which smells lovely and leaves your skin feeling nourished with a light scent of cannabis. That was all on top of selling me a quarter ounce of the most lovely Blue Dream for $80, and this was no shake. Big fat nugs, dense and strongly scented, beautiful in color and flavor. An initial Sativa-like high with sociable and energetic properties, followed by a mellow and eventually almost sleepy type high that leaves you feeling peaceful and relaxed. The overall experience was amazing and I will be using AAA as my primary source, particularly over dispensaries.
