Look no further for your dispensary of choice. I’ve been a member here since sales began and can’t praise the staff and facility enough. The staff here will go out of their way to make sure you are contented, make you feel welcomed, informed, educated, and genuinely care about your health and well-being. The owner of the dispensary is generally in house on a daily basis, which speaks volumes. You can call ahead to place a pre-order and pick it up and be out in 5 minutes, or you can walk-in (or call) and have thorough conversations about every product. They also offer volume discounts in addition to rotating weekly specials, featuring a certain producer and/or product. Prime Wellness is much more than a dispensary, it feels more like a home.

I know MMJ is a new thing to Ct, but the prices are way too high and the product just doesn't match. As someone who needs MMJ for pain/insomnia, I find it crazy that they ONLY have Sativa/Hybrid strains. Another thing is why no edibles?? And the fact that it's ground up is a huge problem. I have a grinder for a reason, so I can do it myself. And since I'm on Leafly, why no strains I know of? I just really hope the dispensarys in Ct step it up.

first off the staff at prime are courteous,professional&very kinda....they take the time to make sure you understand what your getting and the benefits you will receive....i've been to other dispensary's in ct and so far prime wellness was the best. They are knowledgeable of the products they sell...and sell them at fair prices esp. because they run deals every week! Thank you guys your awesome!!

I have a degree in accounting. I'm trained to look at the business model and see if it's successful. I had been able to sit down with the owner on my first visit and after looking around at the staffing, the security and the shop I asked him, "How can you afford to keep the lights on?" His eyes went wide as he knew from my question that this deserved an intelligent answer. "We can't, thru loans and thanks to the commitment of those working here to the mission of care and compassion for our patients, we do our best for our clients every day we come to work." As a consumer you can't ask for more from a provider. As a business analyst I see any fault lies with the lawmakers that over regulated, over burdened, and misguided the investors into the business of medical marijuana in Connecticut. Thankfully PrimeWellness is more than business per say. They are motivated to help the suffering and educate the sometimes wary people in desperate need. Need to feel you are valued? Try this dispensary and you'll be treated like family.

Primary Wellness is extremely professional in helping patients. The staff is courteous and knowledgable in trying to match the best available product for the patients needs. This dispensary is newly opened and is very promising as a much needed resource for ill patients.

The people are great. The atmosphere is great. Super chill place. The problem is their stock. Right they have 4 different types of flower. That's it. When I inquired why they said they have the most patients and the growers don't send them enough product. I'll be finding another dispensary when I renew.

I don't understand why dispensaries that have ZERO PRODUCT, don't make that fact available in their description, website or anywhere else. I will not be buying from any place that practices this DECEPTIVE marketing tactic. (I had to fill in the ratings or I would not have been able to submit this comment. Please ignore the star rating as I have not been able to evaluate the dispenser due to them having no products )

This is an excellent, extremely professional, and well handled dispensary. It is set up very much like a pharmacy which serves as a reminder that this is a facility created for medical reasons. Very different from California where some dispensaries may resemble package stores. I am extremely thankful that after some research I chose Prime as my preferred dispensary. The pharmacists are nothing but helpful in recommending what products are best for one's conditions. If you are a MMJ patient and are part of the program solely because you want to smoke buds and analyze strains and their varying trichromes, then you are in this for the wrong reasons. If you are complaining about the lack of variety in products and the fact that product is pre-ground, then you clearly have not read through Connecticut's MMJ law and you do not understand how the process works. As of right now there are only four licensed producers in the state of Connecticut, and the only six dispensaries in Connecticut are reliant on these four producers. Their product must come from Connecticut as of right now. The products arrive to the dispensary pre-ground, and they took a while to arrive due to the processes the producers had to legally go through before sales could begin. So far I have been nothing but happy with the products I have purchased from Prime. I use them as recommended, and as a cancer patient that is currently undergoing chemo and radiation, I have found that the sativa dominant hybrids are incredibly effective in fighting my fatigue, and that both hybrids work well against my chemo induced nausea and vomiting. The staff regularly checks in with its patients to see how they are doing with the products they have purchased, and notifies them about potential new products. I am very proud of Connecticut and Prime in that they have found a way to treat cannabis as a true medical product instead of putting a medical guise on something recreational. Prime also provides discounts to its patients that would like to have more open access to massage, reiki, and various fitness groups that may help in treating their conditions. Make sure you do your research before rushing to blame. Becoming a MMJ patient may be a tedious process and no law is without its flaws, but it is well worth the wait. Once again, the staff is so friendly and helpful here that I could not be more thankful in choosing Prime as my preferred dispensary.

I am writing another review for a couple of reasons. The first reason is to tell anybody outside of this program looking in that this program is not difficult to get qualified for. The Doctors are great and the dispensaries are helpful. State of CT has made this whole thing intimidating to the point where it can fail if we don't get more patients signed up. Call the dispensary and they can answer your questions and educate you on the qualification process and recommend local certifying physicians. The second reason is to dispel another rumor that is probably hurting both the growers and dispensaries. This is not more expensive than buying your street weed. In fact, I have never paid less for a better product. It is way less expensive, safer for sure, and if you discuss the product menu with staff members... they will help you find a product that fits your condition AND your budget. Trust me folks, this is way cheaper. Dollar for Dollar you will get way better, more effective and more affordable products. Give this program and dispensary a try. You will not be sorry.

Absolutely ADORE the people at prime. The budtenders / pharmacists call me by name, make recommendations based on my health condition / the effect I am looking for, and overall are a phenomenal resource. Clean, friendly atmosphere with the best selection in CT. I was totally scared / nervous about marijuana altogether when I first stepped inside, and I was astounded at how professional and reassuring they were in guiding my medical treatment.

My experiences have been excellent at Prime Wellness. The staff is wonderful and there is a lot of knowledge available from them, don't be shy about asking. If you have strains you have found success with tell them, they will help direct you to a type that may be similar. New to medical marijuana, pot, weed? Don't be nervous, no one is judging you. If you have a card you have a qualifying diagnosis and were approved. The environment is very sterile in feeling, clean and well lit. If you were hoping for a Colorado store experience you will be disappointed. I found the environment comfortable. The prices listed include tax. It's ok to relax and enjoy the employees and environment, once you do it's really great. The products are pretty much the same at every dispensary since they must purchase from a state approved grower So you are really choosing convenience of location and personality of dispensary
