Like many have said, the staff is great and the facility and atmosphere are first-class. I rate the quality 5 stars because 1) the quality is quickly improving, and 2) for the first time in my life, I don't need to worry that there are contaminants in my medicine. For me, the high CBD wax is very effective at relieving my pain and muscle spasticity. The donation prices, with my low income, are a burden, although as a veteran I receive a 10 percent discount (which is much appreciated- thanks CCC!). I didn't use marijuana before the MM program (20 years ago I smoked recreationally), but I've been able to stop taking at least two medicines that were significantly more dangerous and addictive than cannabis, so I'm very happy.

Love it at CCC. All the staff are very friendly without being sycophantic. Great selection, nice prices, and the dispensary folks really know their strains and effects,. If I had to bring up one minor issue: the online menu is rarely updated, so the only way you know what's in stock is to actually go. I often walk out pleased but a little disappointed that my favorites were out of stock. I'm sure an intern could keep the menu updated. Still plan to be a regular customer though....their service and knowledge easily makes up for the menu issue.

Pros: Great products, awesome strains. Top notch flower potency. Cons: Price is high. 7 gram prepacked container was a little light (about 6.7 which isn't the dispensary's fault). The flower isn't ground but it is packed pretty tightly (in the 7 gram pack) so it was a bit on the shakey side (note 3.5 pre pack was pretty solid bud). Strain names are not recognizable (not a big deal since the staff can give you the street names). Cannot buy by the gram, only 3.5 and 7 gram pre-packages. Considering what the dispensaries in CT have to work with I would highly recommend this one. The prices are high but that's at all the dispensaries here. For where the CT program is at right now they are doing a great job.

I'm a first timer MM patient but self medicated for about 5 years. i must say i am impressed with everything about this organization. they made me feel comfortable and at ease with learning the ropes to CT's regulations. I agree, a bit pricey but considering all of the state's conditions I find everything to be above standard. Can't wait to try more products.

My first visit was definitely a positive one. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Pharmacist was amazing! She asked questions and really took time to understand my medical condition and symptoms. She was very knowledgeable and I have noticed significant relief from my pain already.

Everyone is helpful and very caring. They haven’t steered me wrong yet. Prices have improved greatly in recent times. Very happy with convenience of doing preorder and quicker pick ups.

Ive had my first bad experience at a dispensary out of 50/60 visits after just my fifth time here. I visited the first four or five times for recreational and had no issues. Preordered my first order the last visit a few days ago. Got two 1/8ths. Got home and did the “opening” and one jar was sealed but completely empty. I followed up immediately and was told they were “looking into it”. They had me send pictures which i did and i offered to come in and return the packaging immediately. Again, told they were “looking into it”. Well its been three days, no further follow up and they aren’t answering me any longer. Trust me i dont need the $40 im out but i wont be spending anymore here out of principal. It sucks driving the distance but MassAltCare sells $150 ounces on saturdays including the tax. Way better than spending $85 and getting an 1/8th and an empty jar

I was impressed with the cleanliness, organization and warm feeling at CCC. The staff are friendly and remember you by name. As for the quality of the Cannabis... I was extremely dissatisfied. The harvest dates on the labels are false, the flower is as dry and hard as grains of sand. All of the product is ground, which I don't have a problem with other then you can not identify the health when it's ground like that. The THC and CBD percentages are also false on the labels. I have received 15% and above in THC levels and I have had no improvement in my PTSD symptoms and in some cases have made my nightmares worse and caused me more anxiety. I have NEVER had this issue with cannabis in my life and I have been using cannabis for my PTSD for over four years. The prices are twice as high as they should and the quality is absolutely ATROCIOUS!! I will be looking into the other dispensaries in Connecticut and other states because at this point I will not be returning back to CCC.

Was far from my local dispensary, called to send my credentials over so I didn't have to wait to get service. Waited 20 mins to be called only for the dude to nonchalantly say i had to wait another 10 mins. Left after that.

The Botanist, formerly Compassionate Care, is a quality dispensary. Always an easy process from ordering to pick-up. Friendly staff. Usually, they will find out if they don't know. I hope they continue the 20% discount events and perhaps increase their frequency. It really helps to afford some of the higher priced products. The location is convenient to I-84.

Beautiful facility....very tranquil...very knowledgable staff..very up to date with their emails...so you always know when there is a delivery and what it's going to be

great atmosphere and friendly staff. the bad is in the bud, how could you grind up flower before hand? weed porn is the number one seller. whole beautiful buds will always attract and last longer.

The ppl are great and all the variety are wonderful, but I think the freshness of the dry herb is lost somewhere. The bud is a bit dry some are not to bad. With lower donation prices I think the herb will sell quicker and wont have it just sitting there drying up. Also maybe labeling the strains actual name could draw more attention. I love what you all are doing. I know how hard the state regulations are, and I thank ya'll for sticking with it and helping us patients get our medicine thanks again see ya soon!

I like this place. Nice bud, very helpful, just wish they offered delivery cause without a car it's a really big hassle getting here.
