A top shelf dispensary, very approach able pharmacists, a totally full service, customer driven establishment. I would recommend to anyone.

Having been one of the first patients to set foot into a medical dispensary in the state of Connecticut, I didn't expect much. And at first that's exactly what I got--a few grams of nameless shake for an exorbitant amount of money. BUT...it worked! The cannabis was GOOD and I was happy. The staff was compassionate, just as the sign says, not to mention kindred souls. I loved Angela D'Amico immediately. I had faith, so I waited. Within 6 months this dispensary did a complete 180. I was thrilled and amazed. The growers were on their 2nd or 3rd season and the product was getting better and better. Suddenly what was once shake turned into beautiful buds, then the vaping oils and edibles were introduced...and so on. More and more patients began showing up; people of all ages, races, income tax brackets with one thing in common: a desire to be healthy. Today this dispensary is, I would imagine, one of the BEST in the country for medical cannabis. Their inventory is amazing. These cutting-edge growers are constantly brainstorming new ways of treating peoples' pain and fulfilling patients' needs, and the know-how of the staff at the dispensary is there constantly to personally guide you through it. In just one year's time of using medical cannabis I am very pleased to say that my personal experience has been a wonderful and very highly successful one. My Crohn's disease is in full remission, my constant pain from DDD in my spine is under control, and somehow I have managed to lose 30 pounds of FAT from around my waist without dieting. Ahhh...the wonders of THC and CBD's. I would never know without the fine product provided by these guys. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

This has been my dispensary for months now. Unfortunately, I can't say it's been a great experience. The main receptionist is almost always unpleasant, and when you go you have to listen to her bitch about not only her job but the customers who come to Compassionate Care. Moreover, their website is terrible. There's not much information provided on the products, and they're missing many of the product photos that should be there to help the patient make decisions. And when you put a product into the basket and go back to shop the website often doesn't remember what you already had in the basket. But that's what you get when you run your business on a Wix website. The least they could do is put up a functional WordPress site. It's not rocket science. Another issue I have had is that a lot of the flower is very dry. That may not be their fault, but it's kind of unexpected. And you would think they could invest in a humidor for the poducts. Finally, the place is tiny (I mean really tiny). And the 8' x 8' waiting room feels dirty. My impression is that compared to places like Colorado and California and others, Connecticut dispensaries are lacking substantially in many many ways. This is no exception. The one thing they have going for them (other than being nearly the only game in town in my area) is that other than the one receptionist, everyone there is awesome. If I could give a rate on people I'd give them 4.9, but with all the other flaws, with regret, I have to go far lower.

They need to hire someone to keep their site updated. It’s very frustrating when you go with only a certain amount to spend & find out that they don’t have what you want. They complain that patients take too long in the pharmacy, that’s because the site is WRONG and all the research you did for the symptoms your trying to treat, you have to start over again. Teri

This is my medical dispensary. I've been there three times so far. The lobby area is a bit small, but well apportioned for 6-8 customers to wait their turn. It's nicely decorated and comfortable. A large TV has their current menu rotating through, and there are also a couple iPad's available for this as well. The pharmacist I first met was really great. I knew nothing about Cannabis (still learning!) but she went slow and talked me through all my options. No sense of rushing me through it. I definitely recommend this location if you're new to medical cannabis (or perhaps soon legal for recreation!) If I had to mention one drawback is that the prices are a bit high. I only know this from conversations I struck up with others in the waiting lobby. They had legally purchased in other states and most of those were less expensive. I suspect this is more related to MM being fairly new to CT and legal growers are still limited in numbers. I'm hoping that if (when) this is legalized that the supply will increase in relation to demand, and prices will drop.

Great Crew and informative Pharmacy staff. Everyone is friendly and gets to know you. It feels like a "Pharmacy" of the past. They know their patients, they're helpful, knowledgeable and kind. It gives you that feeling of a trust and care. That is lacking in both the Medical world and Pharmaceutical world. They've become a corporation instead of one on one care of the past. That is the sad state of affairs going on in Medicine and the world today. It's nice to walk into this place, where you know you"'ll get this one on one personal care.

In response to Anonymous 28, all dispensaries in CT have the same product. Sorry that you were not happy with your experience at CCC, the program is in the infancy stages, and once all growers have harvested the prices will even out and drop.

This was my first time at CCT, as I just have recently got my card. Upon entry, it’s a small office, similar to any waiting room. The entry with ID under camera process Is a little complicated but necessary and I think with proper instructions maybe on the door, it could be made a little easier. My appointment was at 12, I was taken in to see the pharmacist at 12:28. Not a big deal. It was a Friday. The pharmacist Carl was so helpful and understanding it made me feel happy to finally have gotten my card. He made picking the flowers that I should try for my conditions very easy and comforting. As for the quality of the bud, the strains are all pretty and smell nice. But there is a distinct difference in a couple of the strains that I got, that being the density. Some are flaky and easy to break up, while other are moist and sticky as marihuana should be. I’m not sure if this is starting in the growing facilities but a couple humidifiers in there op room should fix that. Other than that, pleasant experience.

This place is the best. I have been to dispensaries in CA, CO, WA - you name it. Within the constraints of the current laws, this as good as you are going to get - but it's the experience of GOING THERE AND BEING CARED FOR that makes the world of difference. While CT's MMJ program got off to a slow start with only ground up, so-so quality bud and a limited amount of growers, CCC has always been totally transparent about what is going on and has maintained such a professional, caring and competent attitude that it really blows me away. The new strains are less ground up and actually VERY good quality (try the 14011!!) and the wax is on par with some of the stuff I have smoked on the west coast. Their staff is always super friendly and willing to work with you. Here's something that you won't find anywhere else - they run their own "scholarship" program for people who can't afford their meds. They (and by they I mean like the actual owner of the dispensary who is regularly there and always super personable) will actually sit down with you and speak with you about your condition and let you know everything they can do to help. The last time I was there I just briefly mentioned some difficulty I was having and they didn't even hesitate to offer me a discount. This place is excellent and will only keep getting better as the CT MMJ program progresses!

This is the only place in the state that understands the concept of dosing and proper dosing. Everyone else just wants to sell you some weed. These guys want to know what's wrong with so that they can recommend something that may work best for you. In addition, they have a Compassionate needs program to help under privileged patients better afford their medicines. NO ONE else is doing that.

For my first time at the dispensary my consultation took a little longer than expected but that’s okay. Everyone was nice, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The medicine is good. The quality of the flower is pretty good but kinda dry but whatever. The waiting room does get crowded but they do move patients in and out pretty quick. Overall my first two times at this dispensary have been good.

For the first time in many many years I actually feel like a person with medical issues Compassionate Care stands up to its name. Now I’m not just a dollar sign to those physicians who have treated me have without success. All of the staff at Compassionate Care have treated me with the utmost compassion and respect Highly Recommend!

pricing high but worth the consistency of knowing what is going into my body, staff was honest and disclosure of the profit margin they brought it made me realize that my extra dollars spent now is only going to further ensure a lower cost product for future medical cannabis consumers in this state. will be my dispensary for the foreseeable future

Angela and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Their care and compassion for their patients is quite evident. The facility is extremely clean and nicely furnished while exuding a very comforting feeling. I highly recommend Compassionate Care of Connecticut.

Everyone is wonderful! For the first time in 25 yrs after a back and neck injury and repeated spinal surgeries I have finally found relief. I can sleep again and after trying numerous meds for pain and spasm the cannabis has helped more than any muscle relaxant. I have tried them all! Thank you to Angela and her incredible staff for their understanding and knowledge.

After an initially good experience, I felt the immense need to transfer out of The Botanist after six months. Their stock is low and has been for about a month for the products I regularly use - and they haven't even started recreational sales yet. I used to feel welcome walking in, but now it seems each interaction with staff is incredibly transactional and vapid and employees who used to know my name act as if I'm a stranger. The last time I went to get my order, although it was ready, I had to wait 20 minutes and watch people who came in after me get served before me. This was the last straw for me and made me highly doubt their ability to switch to both medical and recreational sales while making sure medical patients get the attention they need. The only upside was Uzma, the pharmacist, one of the cannabis specialists named Brandon/Brendan (?), and the front desk staff. Otherwise, I'm really disappointed that a once great community has made me feel so unimportant and isolated. On to greener pastures.

Everyone is helpful and very caring. They haven’t steered me wrong yet. Prices have improved greatly in recent times. Very happy with convenience of doing preorder and quicker pick ups.

The staff I met were top notch, the price matching is a plus too,, but their menu and the naming of the products are very confusing. You need to check the names of the actual product in an other website. Such Bullshit! And their flower is very very dry, almost dust dry. But since I live in Bethel, I quess I'm stuck unless I want to travel all the way to Waterbury

My first visit was definitely a positive one. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Pharmacist was amazing! She asked questions and really took time to understand my medical condition and symptoms. She was very knowledgeable and I have noticed significant relief from my pain already.

Excellent dispensary staff and pharmacists. Decent variety on menu, and seems to be up-to-date every time I'm there. Usually busy (no surprise) and reception can feel rushed. But the staff overall is very friendly, knowledgeable and make each visit a pleasure.
