Ponderosa Dispensary - Glendale

Why would you change things for your medical patients? Could have a medical side and rec side and you can tax them. I came here the 2nd day you opened when the owner Andy was working there and spent 1000’s since then. Ponderosa I have highly recommended you all but that has now changed. You have chosen to be like everyone else, now there is nothing special here. This feels like a bad break up. What a major let down.

I dislike pondarosa now due to -high prices -lack of deals -Dry flower pondarosa is forsure profit over patients.

Been having the same buds for atleast two years straight which is crazy to me cuz you guys raised your prices and haven’t changed nothing but take away your deals and points y’all would be nothing without us medical patients and just money hungry which is sad because you guys used to be soo good and I would always recommend this place to people but now I it’s just disappointing and they stay deleting the bad reviews to make them look good

*deleted originally posted 03/11/2021* I've been coming to this dispensary for years since it moved from Maricopa to Glendale. This is now a for profit dispensary. Don't crawl back to medical patients when the economy tanks again. The renaming of the same tiers with increased pricing and tax. Tell your front staff to pay attention and keep personal conversations to a minimum. Grow your own now peeps. Still never got my "lifetime" card for being a Maricopa Original patient.

Ponderosa is a Joke! This place has went way down in quality and in service. The only thing that went up is the prices. Flower isn't worth what they want you to pay.

The price hike is one thing but why no more daily deals when all the other dispensaries are still able to have deals while being medical and recreational I use to only go to ponderosa but if they are not every going to have any deals again I don't mind driving a mile up the road to bloom

This is what corporate greed looks like. Almost all of their prices increased by 25%. They are not even servicing Rec patients, but BECAUSE THEY COULD, they SUBSTANTIALLY raised their prices in advance. in detriment to their patients in the middle of a pandemic. It's their right- they have quality products, but I can't support a dispensary that just seems to cares about it's profits- not the patients.

You need better quality control. Not everyone can tell but I can. Spent $55 on Tru Infusion Animal Candy, and it's a hermaphrodite marijuana plant. It looks like the plant was stressed out. Seed pods all over $55 again for shit like that.

Quality has gone down charged me premier pricing for popcorn buds not the best quality staff didnt look like they wanted to help much. Used to be my favorite spot not anymore after today.

purchased an 8th of London pound cake for $45 and the buds were full of giant leafs. this has been my spot for a minute really disappointed 😞😕

They charged me 8 dollar tax on $40 worth of product wtf?

i excitedly tried to cash in my 5,000 loyalty points for the advertised free oz of copper top flower and was told i could only pick one strain. this is not a policy posted anywhere and they admitted that. management was worthless in assisting and honestly quite rude. no assistance was given to me and i had to cancel the transaction. just a heads up that this dispo's customer service is rapidly declining!

These guys are coming to the west valley with force! Their flower beats anyone in the valley right now - they are super dialed in. The nug structure and the trim job was impeccable, with clear and detailed variety between strains. They are doing it the right way, when so many others are rushing and focused on volume. The best flower and concentrates on the west side hands down - these guys are about to take over.

what happened to my favorite spot. raised prices new unfriendly staff. can buy your canamo products cheaper at other places offering discounts to long time med patients. you guys up your prices and still are only med. come on talk about pure greed

I purchased top one of flower and it was no good . I purchased pre packed was okay but not good either . For $55 you think I’d get high

I have pre-ordered from this establishment many times. This was the first time I had a problem. I pre-ordered triangle Kush, online they had it testing at 26.71% THC. Upon checking out and getting into my vehicle immediately open my bag to verify my purchase the THC content is testing at 16.51%. substantially lower than what it had said on their website. I immediately went back into the establishment it was near minutes from the time I walked out the door to coming back in the door.. I explained to an associate what it happened he took my purchase to the back to discuss it with the manager. While waiting I did look over the paper menu and I did notice that they had triangle Kush listed on the paper menu testing at 16.51% THC. The associate came back and explained to me that earlier they did have a triangle Kush testing at 26.71% but it's sold out rather quickly and so they just replaced it with the lower THC one. When I asked why I hadn't been notified I was told that they didn't have anything testing that high on the value shelf which did not answer my question at all. As a daily smoker I put a lot of care and ordering and making sure when I do order the THC content is high enough to be effective I am a medical patient.. this experience was sad the customer service was pathetic. The mistake was on their end and should have been fixed appropriately. If you're going to pre-order at this establishment please make sure before leaving the building you look yourself at your purchase to verify you are getting what you actually ordered because they will not help you after you leave.

Prices have went up & not for the better. Grabbed 2 private reserved 8ths only to have them be drier then my value 8th. If I’m going to pay high prices for a private reserve flower I’d expect great quality or at least better then a 20 dollar 8th. Ponderosa used to have amazing flower idk what happened.

I was a loyal patient/customer since March 2018, not going anywhere else even if there was a better deal. I haven’t been back here in several weeks because management tried to screw me over on the Saturday deal. I was in such disbelief because it was so petty but at least I know where they stand. It’s clear they don’t want me to shop here. Prices are higher here than most places nearby and the product has been getting significantly worse over the past year so I don’t see any reason to come back and have to deal with the funny business. This place has gone downhill since the new owners started changing everything for the worse.

bullshit that I have to buy the most expensive flower to get anything worth anything at all. stop taking advantage of medical patients!

Ponderosa used to sell 1g of wax for $30, for a good product. They've increased the price with no explanation to patients as to why, I guarantee if you'd asked it'd be "lab fees". I thought this was supposed to be people's medicine? In an industry rife with profiteering, I just wish one of these companies would recognize that not everyone is made of money and can't drop $120 on THREE grams when you used to be able to get 3.5 for the price that you now pay for TWO. Recreational has ruined the medical side of the industry.

if I could leave negative Stars I would this is one of the worst dispensaries because of the price hikes it was a long time customer now it feels like a bad divorce they've gotten too greedy thank God for other dispensaries that still appreciate the medical patients like w a m and Arizona Organix

They erased my review LOL. They also completely messed my order up the other day. Funny that happens for the first time ever after you go medical! I don’t know how you misread 1/4 as 1/8 as dispensary workers. Twice in one order. You were rushing and didn’t look well enough, and you weren’t even busy..? I was one of maybe three customers in there at 11am on a weekday.
