As a medical patient the front desk has been rude to me a couple times it seem like they were having a bad day but I literally did nothing to have it taken out on me. I already hate dealing talking with people let alone when they are rude for no reason. Also the prices are way to expensive. It's a shame since this is the only dispensary around the area.

I brought my therapy dog with me because that’s what you do with a therapy dog. I had a long drive and it was 70 degrees when we left. I admit I didn’t account for how much the temp would rise on the drive, but I wasn’t really worried about leaving my dog in the car because I’m never inside NTI for longer than a few minutes because of their waitlist system. It was a two hour wait, so we went to the dog park after we got into Milan and then just drove around waiting for the text telling me it was my turn to come in. When I did receive my message, I was surprised to see a line outside. Isn’t the waitlist to prevent a line? I didn’t know they’re dog friendly so I parked my car with my back end in the shade and left the windows down. Again, I’ve never been in there longer than a few minutes and didn’t know they’re dog friendly. Even though they were “ready” for me, I waited in line for about 15-20 minutes - maybe the amount of time if not longer that I would typically spend inside. I get almost to the front when the security dude asks me if I am the one with the silver car with a dog in it. I verified the car is mine and he started explaining how it’s against company policy for them to allow animals to be left in a car when the temp is above 68 degrees. Wow. You know, a better way to go about that would be to say “well go get your dog! We’re animal friendly!” Instead, he inadvertently announced to all were listening - which is everyone BTW because he’s who announces when they get to go inside - that what I was doing was animal abuse and I either needed to go get him, because they are, in fact, dog friendly, or leave. First of all, I respect that they respect animals, but I sincerely didn’t know 68 degrees was the highest temp a dog can be left in the car with the windows down and in the shade before it’s no longer safe, comfortable for my babe, or acceptable. Walking back to my car, I began to cry a little because I didn’t realize I may have unintentionally been hurting my dog when he saved me every day for the last ten years. I was embarrassed - humiliated, actually. I wasn’t prepared for the situation, but we had driven quite a distance to get there and I didn’t want leave empty handed. I didn’t have a leash but I had his seatbelt, so I used it as an incredibly short leash. My dog is very old by the way, and deaf. Directing him to do anything anymore is a lost cause. Half the time he doesn’t seem to know where he is in our own home. Because of this, he was trying to wander off a very short “leash” but it looked more like I was dragging my poor dog around making him choke, which certainly doesn’t make me look any less like an animal abuser. The security guard let me come back to the front of the line but made sure to point out I was holding my makeshift leash wrong and there are better ways to do it. I just can’t do anything right, can I? The whole visit went really poorly. I suggested to the dude perhaps he could be a little more discreet if that scenario should arise again because I was truly unaware that it was too warm outside and it was incredibly hard to come back in there after being humiliated. He looked at me as if he felt pity for me, and then continued about his business without saying a word. Then I got in line and stood with a group of people who only know me as a woman who leaves dogs in hot cars. It’s over right? Wrong. The rest is just a bummer. I want something to help calm my anxiety and help me sleep. The cannabis connoisseur I got didn’t ask me what I was looking for or offer assistance in any way. I go to them and am willing to pay for their knowledge. Since my last visit, they’ve installed tablets you scroll through instead of giving you a paper menu to look through. The paper menus had minimal info, and the person assisting you has to know and explain bit about the ones you inquire about, and they’re generally really helpful. I didn’t understand anything I was reading on the tablet. I told her I thought was looking for an indica so she set the search parameters to only show indica strains, but she didn’t elaborate on any of them. When I asked if she could clarify a bit more about them, she agreed, but the only thing she said about any of them were that they taste really good. That’s…not really important to me. I could feel myself becoming less of a pleasant person by the second, so picked something random because I really wanted to get out of there. The employee was delighted to let me go in blind. I also want to mention I own a pretty high tech scale and I have never purchased a 3.5 jar of flower from them that actually weighed 3.5. It’s usually 3 flat. As I said, I go to them for their knowledge, which has now apparently been replaced by a tablet. I certainly don’t go for their good prices or value. On a positive note, the woman working the check in counter and letting people on the sales floor was super friendly.

Great atmosphere for patients with a very knowledgeable staff. They’ll surely give you the best strain or product for you. Whether it be THC heavy products or CBD heavy products, they have a great selection. I wish prices weren’t so high (even though I understand why). However, they have a good selection of items and deals on items they have in bulk and what not. I recommend anyone to come here for their medicinal needs. Hopefully, when marijuana is recreational this location will grow even more, and people will be able to use the products at this location responsibly, with the help of this wonderful staff.

Customer service is horrible. My first time here was bad but decided to give them another chance and of course I was let down again. Quad cities needs more shops because this one ain’t it.

Good stuff. They just need more variety and lower prices

They had a great variety of flower when I visited. Prices include tax, cash only as always. The one tip I would give is to CALL AHEAD AND GET ON THE LIST. I didn't do that and had to wait an hour, which was no big deal. I got a half OZ of Sweet Island Skunk that is flipping amazing and some honey packets (great in coffee lol). I will definitely be back.

My favorite thing about NTI besides their selection of edibles is Tammy! She always has cute outfits and/or brilliant smiles for me to enjoy! She's so sweet and sassy and smart as a whip! She's just such a joy to get as a consultant I just had to give her love here since a new hire gave me a card with this site on it! I wanted to say I always look forward to my trips for meds out there, because she always gives me the best advice and her hugs are almost healing theres so much care in them! I hope all the new hires are taking notes and getting some compassionate care training from her, because I hope all patients can feel as genuinely cared for as I do. In fact all medical dispensaries need teams of Tammys to make us patients feel better!

so far I have not been very impressed where is the legal MMJ industry in Illinois. I understand it is brand new and we have a lot to learn but Illinois is so far behind other states. going to a dispensary feels like such a scam to me with the insane outrageous prices. so I rarely go to a dispensary unless I have to. prior to this visit I only have had experience with Sunnyside and Rockford and it was horrible. nature's treatment of Illinois I expected the same from however the waitlist they have is extremely convenient. I pulled right up walked in had my product and was gone within 15 minutes and this is on a Friday afternoon. the pricing was crazy as expected however I cannot complain with the product as everything I had was excellent. this will now be my go-to dispensary in Illinois.

The lady's from Verilife and leafly keep getting on my email and posting my complaints to the Ottawa shop and all Verilife shops like I am complaining about the shop there because I was going to go there. They sold oil that was no good for weeks. After I told them they wouldn't get any different stuff and kept selling stuff that didn't work. I have seizures and without my oil to smoke my mind and body can't relax. My muscles were tight, I was very stressed out, I felt really weird and I could feel a seizure coming on. That was a couple days after no oil that I am used to taking a hit off my pen whenever I want to relax and feel good. Now because of those lady's the whole state is going to CBD and rso. People can't buy oil anymore because of Verilife not having a supply for their customers. They made it so the whole state had to go medical for oil.

Very poor customer service. I am appalled that they think it is okay to treat paying customers the way that they do. I would have spent hundreds more if they were just the least bit helpful. I am highly disappointed with this establishment. As soon as I arrived the guy at the door was disgustingly rude, I should have known to take my business elsewhere after the first interaction. I would never recommend anyone going here. Please find somewhere that treats customers with respect, because NTI does not.

I called to ask a question and the guy that answered the phone was incredibly rude. He was upset that I had a question and told me that he had over 800 products and that he couldn’t possibly help me over the phone. Their website does not show anywhere near 800 products, and it is not unreasonable for customers to call in and verify if something is in stock. Start treating your customers respectfully and lose the attitude. It’s just unbelievable that someone like this gets hired for a customer service position. I called today in the morning if this helps the owners identify their employee.

The staff are frequently rude, act put upon by your being there or asking questions, even though for a while they were not even answering the phone. The online menu is often inaccurate and rarely do they have printed menus available to review while you wait (you will always wait in line) The available product is very limited and what they do have is generally $10 more per item than at any other dispensary. The main reason for bad service, high price and limited product is likely they are the only dispensary in the QC so there is no competition. Hope this changes soon. The bad service and limited product is so bad, I now drive to RISE in Canton, Illinois, which is only 1.5 hours away what a world of difference it makes- huge selection of product at reasonable prices, friendly helpful staff, wide selection of "sale" items. I hope RISE opens a dispensary in QC so we have a choice where to spend our money locally, however, until then I will happy just keep driving to Canton, Illinois to purchase from RISE.
