i hate to go negative because this place legalls sells cannabis, but wanted to share what i've learned. since nearby sunnyside in elmwood park is owned by cresco, i believe cresco stopped supplying their cartridge products to medmen. i'm a medical user, and i've been tracking medmen's daily availability of cresco carts for the past year, and they've slowly diminished over 2023 to where they literally had zero cresco carts for the first couple months of 2024. it appears cresco is trying to put medmen out of business - and succeeding. sunnyside has consistently had way better availability and prices. also, medmen's music is WAY TOO LOUD. service is hit or miss. when you check in at the front desk, you won't get a friendly greeting or even eye contact. there always seems to be a wait, yet there are 5 visible employees either doing nothing or laughing loudly in back (apparently trying to hear themselves over the music). it's walking distance from home, yet i no longer go to medmen. hoping they re-open as a sunnyside.

Great place. All are helpful. Especially Alberto. Good selection.

Well the lady who helped me pick out Pineapple Express budda, was awesome. And the front door lady was super chill. But the people at the cash register just seemed a little too nonchalant and not customer service friendly. Working in the industry they do, I did not expect a salty attitude. I got a great deal though and saved 80$ so that was a win even though wedding cake was a little dry?

Got great service. I have spinal neuropathy. The medical world only recommends opioids for this type of constant pain and it doesn’t work. Also, I don’t smoke nor can I consume sugar. Mark made several recommendations that met all of these requirements. Mainly, I wanted pain relief at night so that I can not only get to sleep and minimize the pain throughout the night. I am grateful for the knowledgeable, thorough, and kind help.

The wood paneling and spartan surroundings makes the atmosphere very “my parents’ basement”. Also: while it’s great that you’re selling some paraphernalia there, maybe having it behind the cashiers isn’t the best thing for keeping the line moving? People are asking questions only once they’re at the cashiers and that (warning: pun approaching) grinds things to a halt.

I am a medical patient and have been a customer of the Oak Park - Chicago, IL location for approximately three years. Living with a chronic condition and having to navigate the human service, healthcare, and private sector, can be challenging. Sadly, the public at times does not fully understand how chronic conditions impact our day to day activities and interactions with others. It is essential for improved quality of life, that those who provide service or support to individuals with chronic conditions, understand these challenges and provide person-centered care and service. I wanted to take a few moments of your time to recognize one of your outstanding employees. I have had the sincere pleasure of receiving caring and compassionate service from Melanie at the MedMen Oak Park-Chicago store on many occasions. Melanie is ALWAYS friendly, patient, compassionate, and kind. Melanie listens to my concerns and my needs and goes above and beyond to try and find the best product for me. Every time I visit the MM store I look to see if she is working and I request her services. As a person who has worked in human services for over 20 years and is now disabled and a patient, I have learned that this kind of exceptional service is rare and must be acknowledged. Please officially recognize Melanie's outstanding service and consider using her work ethic as an example to others. It is invaluable. Thank you MedMen-Oak Park-Chicago for your great customer service! I recommend this location!

highly recommended the visit was lovely for my first recreational pickup.

At my last visit I was not charged right for my purchase. I was charged regular price not the discounted price it showed online when I placed my order. I gave my loyalty card to the cashier for my 10% off and after that it showed the price it was supposed to be already so what’s the point of the loyalty discount card?! What a joke! I won’t be going back because of this… ridiculous!

Enjoyed the live resin budder but the flower was dry and not a great taste at all CRESCO 4 top notch prices thumbs down not a cheap guy but I can get better flower from the black market and since the riots happened this place and Leafly are making it impossible for rev patients to purchase update the sight want some concentrated can’t even get that SMH

Service is typically very slow. Expect a long wait. Prices are exorbitant even before taxes. Extremely corporate atmosphere. No freebies or deals, because there is little legal competition. If anti-trust laws had any teeth, this type of price gouging would be stopped by authorities. Matthew helped me out big time, he was fast and friendly. He gets credit for all the stars here.

Quick, polite, and efficient. (It beats the hell out of meeting a sleezy guy named Bruno at that dive bar in the back. Dark jeans, Nikes, a blue color I haven't seen.)

First time at MedMen - Oak Park (have been to one in LA). Decided to give it a try despite being a bit further from home because I was tired of making the trek to a dispensary only to find out that they were out of the product I wanted after waiting in line for up to an hour. MedMen has an online ordering system and a huge selection so I just made my selections (had to wait until the store was open to order online) and almost immediately received a text with my pick up time. The notice came so quickly that I had to ask for a later time because I couldn't get there that quickly. Upon arrival, every staff member I met (and there were many) was friendly and cordial. Alicia served me and couldn't have been more helpful. In and out in about 5 minutes. Just a note, the address is on Lake Street but, the recreational entrance is off the alley at the back of the building. I think I have found my new home!

As a recent Medical card recipient, I was happy to know there was a dispensary near my home in Oak Park. This was my 2nd visit. Melanie took care of me on my first visit and was super helpful and helped me find some substitutes for some items that were sold out. GREAT experience!!! Today was my second visit and same great service this time Anna and Marissa were super helpful just made the whole experience fast and fun. So great to know I can just ride my bike down and get my medicine. Thanks for being here .. see ya soon .... Felix

The price's are very high here and at all Illinois dispensaries . The selection is not so good and don't waste your time buying shake.
