Best oil and selection of flower
As a medical patient, I expect my process of buying my medicine to be stress-free. Today at Mayflower Allston was not that.
Just renewed and called to ask what the qualifications were for using their new/renewing patient punch card (4x $50 off $100). The man on the phone told me I could use it with their $100 ounce deal, and even said “that would probably be the best time to use it”. So today, I planned to do just that, put the preorder in, and drove out of my way to Allston after work.
I get there and the budtender tells me I can’t use it on the ounce and that the man on the phone gave me the wrong info. The manager came out and repeated the same thing. Absolutely no effort to correct the mistake, just that I was SOL. Unacceptable for someone buying medicine, but its still a business and I still need flower, so I stepped outside to try and figure out what to buy instead and came back in after about 5 minutes.
When I went back in, the bud tender immediately started being combative towards me. I asked a question about where a certain preroll was from and he shrugged his shoulders and then repeated the brand name. When paying and using my debit card, their virtual pin pad had numbers all out of order. I asked why, while laughing, trying to ease the tension that for some reason had been there, and he responded with “damn, you have a question for everything”… nope, just about the product I’m about to buy to help with my medical condition.
As someone who is using marijuana to treat anxiety, this was about the worst experience I could have had. When I stepped outside, I actually went to my car to do some breathing exercises before going back in, because I could feel my anxiety level rising. To go back in and be met with that type of attitude has me all out of sorts and I don’t know whether to cry or scream.
Right When I entered I was thrilled with no line, like other places with recreational use. My bud tender carl was great we laughed it up talked about strains and was the best customer experience I have had so far to date. This has been by far the best sativa quality for taste and extreme potent indica. At the then end of the day my 421 deal was the most impressive by to date so thank you very much mayflower you rock and I will be back!!

Great location. Security is nice and helpful. No lines. Great customer service and also a lot of great information about the products.
I really like Mayflower, but it's hard to rate them high. It's usually dead in there, but checking out really takes a long time. It seems to be a computer issue. I think it might make them check that they are selling the right thing a lot, but I don't have the eternal clicking, label reading, clicking, label reading... thing at other dispensaries. The staff is nice, but either they are consistently not trained well/fully comfortable on the system or something needs streamlining.
Flower seems to trend lower THC. I've had uneven lock with the edibles. For me the pate du fruit kicks in right away instead of my usual half hour or so, so be prepared.
Atmosphere is... non-existent. It's just one smallish, bare unsaturated blue room mostly filled by the desk where you make your orders. Everything is pre-packaged, which probably helps keep prices down, but it's not inviting the way NETA is.
Despite some shortcomings, I really recommend the $199 ounce sales, and they still have full-gram joints (for $10!!), as well a the 10% hardship discount that they even apply on top of sales. It's definitely worth checking out and I consider this my main dispensary now.
Accessibility: It's super handy that they are located right at the 66 bus. The bus drops you off about 100ft from the front door. No stairs or large threshholds. I cant remember if they have an automatic door outside but they don't in the little vestibule where the check your ID in the system. I believe the outside buzzer is placed a little high for wheelchair users. They will let you use their bathroom, but I don't believe it's wheelchair accessible.

I always have a great experience here. Their flower is tasty and their prices are pretty reasonable, especially their $199 oz sale!! Their cartridges are also pretty good, got a CO2 cart there for $55 and it’s lasted me almost two full months. Would recommend!

Hands down the best dispensary in Mass...had four..yes four people helping at one point in time ..only dispensary to give patient handbook ...only one to fully explain leafly order system...just realy overserviced which is great.The girl who helped me was in training and was still far more knowledgeable and helpful than some so called seasoned budtenders.Great overall experience....the concentrates from Insa were on point ..and the cookies and cream mini nug oz was worth the 90 miles drive.....the prerolls awesome so far Kong rules and the night terror og kicks butt......

I love the free parking in back of the building , Big Bang for your buck! Great selection of products ,great customer service , bud tender was very helpful , even tho I have to travel from Weymouth / Hingham area it was more than worth it .. thank you ..
Website needs updating. No shopping cart and Leafley's connection is a night mare. Having people wait in line outside is a huge problem and hard to keep a good social distance. Maybe give out numbers during peak times. I like the variety but because it's really hard to order off the website and you can't leave your spot in line. I will be heading to a competitor for future medicinals.

The THC count on their product menu does NOT match what's in the container,they gave me a bunch of different excuses .But they did NOT Solve the problem.

I enjoy going to Mayflower very much great environment. I like the people a lot !I think he prices are right and the deals are great! If I had one wish, it would be to have even a greater variety of product, I realize everything takes time. I hope the vibe always stays the friendly helpful, this place is a win win for everyone!
