First off the news will have a field day with this! All the info updated as of yesterday online for the thc in their bud is wrong! They're purposely lying on the website to get u in there but the thc is nowhere near what it says online and the menu was updated yesterday!?!. I have the menu from the flower I bought yesterday specifically asking about the thc levels in the flower I was buying. Was told and showed one thing but when I got home and opened my package up the the cookies and cream are below 22%thc and the rugburn og is at 19%!!! Totally not what the menu will reflect on the packaging of your flower! Which is put in snag and u can't even look at the box to read it as if they're trying to be sneaky! Well this isn't the first time I've caught on to this BS technique of showing higher thc levels then trying to explain it away to the customer once they drove a hour just to come get what you had listed on ur website and it menu! UNACCEPTABLE! I will be reaching out to Mayflower today for a answer to this. Why did the menu say it had such a amount of thc in it but when I got home and looked at the box it was over 5% less than stated on menu and out of the employees mouth. Flower is so dry it's not worth $120 a half ounce for flower that's not even in the 20s% thc wise. Have to smoke 3 joints compared to another dispensary who doesn't have to lie to get customers to buy their flower! U should be ashamed of yourselves! This will be a huge story now that I spoke w the operations persons yesterday confirming the lie about the THC% in their flower. Shoddy business practice of lying to patients should be a crime! I am buying medicine aren't I?? I want this rectified somehow or whatever u guys have to do to make it right. Anyone who buys flower from there, make sure to take the box out of the bag in front of the budtender to read the thc levels on the box as they will be different from what's on the menu! I would've got flower elsewhere that at least had rugburn OG higher than the 19% the box read compared to the menu I was given while there yesterday. U guys should really be ashamed to have to lie to get business and still have bad quality product that is overly dry and probably less thc now that it is so dry and been sitting so long. Do urself a favor and buy elsewhere! Of course the staff n everyone is nice! Who wouldn't love that job?! But lying about the product will not be tolerated!!!!!!!!!!

The pre rolls are on the small side,the flower itself is below average,type of place that cannot compete with bigger dispensaries around the state due to their below average flower..can't foresee this place staying open,i def won't be back

I've been to a few dispensaries in MA and was originally very excited to learn that Mayflower was opening in Allston.
Overall I'm disappointed by the quality of product that I've gotten from Mayflower.
1. Poor product packaging - when you purchase product from a medical dispensary you expect to receive it in a customer friendly package. Generally dispensaries have to make their products child proof but I spend 5/6 minutes every time squeezing trying to open the pre-roll packages for Mayflower and do not have this problem with packaging from other dispensaries.
2. The house strain (Grady's Cure) is garbage - I tried Grady's Cure and it was the only Sativa that has ever made me feel racy. A friend of mind on another occasion tried it and asked me whether it was actually weed because it burned more like a flower.
3. Lack of paper bags for discretion -Dispensaries should offer paper bags for clients who don't fee comfortable walking out of their store with a bag that marks them as a Marijuana user. That's just common sense.

I have been a customer of Mayflower Medicinals since they opened last year. Prior to their opening, I used another nearby dispensary that had mid grade quality product for super high prices with super impersonal staff - just because they had a monopoly on the market at that point. After switching to Mayflower for almost a year, here’s what stunned me and kept me coming back:
Since my first visit, I’ve been first and foremost impressed with their kind staff. They’ve always made me feel like a patient coming to grab the meds I need, never a customer coming to bring them dollars. Since the rec market opened up, that kind of environment is super hard for me to find. A++ guys!!
The quality of their flower made me switch to vaping dry herb 100% of the time (from CO2 distillate in a pen) Always a great variety to choose from, different cannabinoids along with their MediHaze CBD strain. I’m a fan of the longer interval between rotating out strains. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so for my pain particularly Kimbo Kush, Cookies & Cream, White Knuckles, and Bullfighter have been **astounding**. Love being able to sleep through the night again! I also have PTSD and depression, and Cookies & Cream hands down keeps me so level headed, it’s been a lifesaver! Recently though I tried the Cheese and that’s been an interesting strain to experiment with. The expansion in strains offered as the $199 mini nug oz has been super helpful! Which, now that we’re here just to touch on: **a $199 oz** of medical grade weed. They’re mini nugs but tbh I can’t notice the difference. IMO this makes Mayflower the cheapest place to buy weed in Boston with the best quality. I can finally afford the amount of meds I truly need to manage my conditions. **THANK YOU**
Mayflower as a business entity has also thrilled me. Their first year was not without its bumps, but every time there’s an issue with a product, interruption in service, they take full responsibility and give you % off on your next purchase. Thank you for validating the seriousness of MMJ as part of healthcare, and compensating proportionally for the inconvenience.
Finally, if anyone’s still reading and somehow that person has an influence in decision making power at Mayflower, I have a request: please keep Mayflower medical only! It must be so tempting to open to the rec market, but when my last dispensary went hybrid it just became such a hassle, lines, who can buy what, microagressions about patients getting rung out before rec customers...bleh. Please keep it easy for us to get our meds!
And so yeah if you haven’t been here...get here!!

I drove for one hour to Mayflower Medicinals and it had closed 3 hours early at 4 pm. I am very disappointed that the website and Leafly said they would be open but they were not. I wasted 2 hours of my time sitting in traffic for nothing. :(

Definitely some of the best flower around. I have been to a few dispensaries and Mayflower has the best flower. My budtender was smart and did a fantastic job with my order and discounts. Thanks Carl

My initial visit I felt like a suspect. Starting with the security person outside who with what felt like a wary eye, watched me from my car to the entrance. He did ask if I needed help. Maybe because of the walker I use. Once inside customer service felt kinda forced?
As for products, I'm not a fan of the mini joints. I'll try a visit again.

Beautiful atmosphere! Love the set up of the shop. Customer service was top notch. Price is the best game in town in Massachusetts with $200 OZ sales and 10 dollar prerolls. (Those are Maine prices!!) I live 40 miles North of Boston, and would totally come here again! Highly recommend!

I really wish mayflower management would update leafly so we know what we're purchasing before we get it. leafly reported 18% on my last mini nug - it was really 15% on the label. I'm starting to think they're doing it on purpose to push their lower testing buds quicker.
Really good deals on decent flower, but not a cool vibe at this place. It is desperately in need of some female energy, among other issues. Turns out it's owned by a corporate conglomerate so that explains a lot. The last two times I went here, I endured well over the recommended limit of mansplaining by dudes with limited listening skills.
Also, don't trust ordering online from Mayflower through Leafly. Tried it twice and both fails. They didn't get the orders and were out of what I came for when I got there. ( I live about 40 mins away) The 2nd time it happened I asked for a manager and he tried his best to make it right, which I appreciate. But it's too bad a place that is meant to heal is not really there for the patients, just for the profits.
Oh, and what's with putting tip jars out for patients? Budtender is a cute term, but these are employees dispensing medication to patients, not recreational consumers. We don't tip at the pharmacy! Just pay them a living wage rather than passing it off to the patients.
Prices, location, parking, staff all very good. My last oz of 3 different strains were all dry, crumbly and turned into dust without grinding.

I started coming here after NETA turned into a recreational circus and Mayflower has been mostly great. Bud tenders are all cool, prices are lower than most, there's on-site parking and until recently it was always quiet. Now that more patients are catching-on, it would be great to have an express lane or pick-up window for pre-orders. That way regulars who already know they want are not waiting in line behind new patients who need more assistance.
In terms of atmosphere, a little music would go a long way. Sometimes it's so quiet it feels strangely uptight.
But the $199 small-nug special is very patient-friendly. And I will return.

Love Mayflower!!! Had the "bestest" experience with Jamie. Education is key and he schooled me on EVERYTHING. I'm forever grateful for people like Jamie who have a passion and drive for what they do. HE IS AMAZING AND HE KNOWS THE PRODUCTS inside out!!!I was super impressed at how much stock they had for Sativa as they appear to be a smaller dispensary. I have made this one of my homes. The service, smiles, professional and stock definitely WON me. FREE PARKING in Allston definitely dosent hurt. Thank you Jamie.

Went in for the first time recently and picked up two prerolls and a MediHaze cartridge. The prerolls were good, but the cartridge was horrible & had a harsh, chemical taste. I called in to see if they would/could do anything about it, and the person on the phone said come on in and we'll see what we can do. I get into the store, and a manager immediately says they won't do anything unless it physically does not work, but offered a 10% discount on another purchase, so even beyond the bad cartridge my time was wasted making the trip to the dispensary for something they could've said on the phone.
No thanks. There are better dispensaries in the area, and if this is a sign of their cartridge quality, do yourself a favor and skip Mayflower unless you're after their $199/oz deal.

The staff are unprofessional & inconsistent. Visited 4 times, each time was not a good experience.
Everyone is so very friendly and helpful. Store is very clean and I can see people wiping down handles and doors. They are allowing people inside now with masks only. Carl is the bomb.!
I wouldn't use dispensary for on line orders they are very slow with this . I put order in didn't receive a text for over 3hrs. I also was in line at 330 didn't get in so they turned all of the people who were in line away at 4PM. By doing this they made more work for themselves because all of us in line had orders filled and waiting. So now they have to put those orders back on shelf and refill the orders again the next day when we have to reorder again. I have been to many dispensary and this was the worst bye far. wouldn't recommend to anyone a real s..t show
I've been going to Mayflower for a bit now and it's definitely my favorite dispensary I've tried so far! I love their gummies and diversity of strains (especially cartridges). The discounts and deals they offer are also really generous. Not to mention I randomly won a raffle in the store and got a beautiful new piece of glass! This place rocks, and their staff is great too.

This dispensary has the best agents I have ever met! The staff is very diverse in their abilities- talk to Carl if you want to know about how the product will affect you, talk to Dani if you need a suggestion for which edible to try...amazing, hard-working crew that will get you exactly what you need, almost every time (as long as it's in stock!). Big thank you's to the managers who guided me through the process.

the only reason I'm giving them a 3 is because their prices are really good they have parking and I enjoy talking to their staff. as far as the medicine it was good right off the bat but has steadily declined since. more often than not the body is dry crumbly and tastes stale. terpenes are not present. as a patient those are the two biggest turn-offs. their packaging isn't very good. you guys have the potential to be a great dispensary and I really want to be able to come back. hopefully you guys will make the changes that you need.
So I can't put a 6th star up but I think you all get the point

Mayflower is the best new thing in Boston. Walking distance from campus, high quality product, and amazing, helpful staff. I couldn't be happier with this gem!

It’s all about competition. And they win period. Look at the vapes .8 not .5 for the same price. Look at the single joints. 1 gram $10 Not $12 to $14. They have the best prices plus the best strain available Bruce Banner. I found Bruce Banner in a 5 sample pack from another company then looked for the strain and found it here. They have better products and better pricing period.
