I gave the "quality" a one star because they can not seem to maintain a consistent supply of the bud everyone wants. Why do you keep getting bedford grow stuff? Nobody buys it, it sits in your inventory for weeks (sometimes months?) at a time, it's the same price as the superior growers (ATX, Rev, grassroots, etc), and it's always dry and just overall not very good, and yet it's the same price and it's always there. Please, I think I speak for everyone, drop them. Nobody wants their stuff. Especially for the price. Second thing, is what is up with all the edibles? Seriously. You have 60 different types of edibles, and again, most of them have been sitting around on the menu forever. Do you really need more than 15 types of brownie, cookie, gummies, etc? As I write this you have "57 edibles" and "40 flower" choices. Seriously? Even if edibles are popular, and they are, why would you have so many different types? Perhaps investing that money into things people actually want would be a good idea. But what do I know? Also, what's up with the deals? You guys really need to work on your "deal game." They're awful deals. One day you had a deal for "five dollars off Maribis shirts..." come one. We're not here for shirts, we want bud. Stop with these "5 dollars off an eighth of X strain." How about "5 dollars of all eighths." If you have to make a deal to try and sell a specific strain/product, please never get it again. We clearly don't want it. Also, maybe a rewards system? I am coming here quite often, I think there should be some sort of rewards system, IMO. I've spent over 5 grand in half a year and would appreciate a rewards system. And another thing, why are you guys always out of the "free" (it's actually a dollar, but whatever) prerolls we're supposed to get when we spend over 100 dollars? Every time I go it's always a coin flip if you guys have them or not. The staff is great, they're all very nice and helpful. I just really wish you guys(or whoever is in charge of inventory) would get the products in that everyone likes, and keep them in stock. Nobody wants these wacky garbage strains that are just as expensive as something that we know will be good, but we can't get the good stuff because you're out. I'll give you some hints: Grassroots, ATX, Pharmacan, Revolution, and Natures and grace. SCCS is good too. Drop bedford grow. They suck. Unless you can drop the prices, or get them to drop them. They are too expensive for the quality. Drop IESO. They also suck. Oh, and another thing, start getting more shake and popcorn nugs. They are reasonably priced and great for people on budgets, but again, like with everything else, it's incredibly inconstant when you have them, making it hard to portion out my bud when i get it. If I get a half ounce of shake, it may last me a week or so, but when I run out, there is a good chance that you won't have it when I go to get more, and I'll have to get the more expensive stuff, when I don't really need to, it's just my only option. In summary, please figure out your inventory. I'm sure all your customers would really appreciate a consistent menu. It's the only thing holding you guys back, and if you don't fix it before it goes recreational someone is going to steamroll over you guys.

Absolutely awful selection and prices have skyrocketed. Only 2 strains of flower available today and both were CBD dominant. I went a couple weeks ago and similar situation. These so called "medical" dispensaries can't even carry a bare minimum selection to meet the needs of patients.

Wow in store this afternoon and only one choice of flower @ low THC of 20.9 for $70.00 for an 1/8!!! Can you say wtf! Good thing I didn’t travel very far and was already in Springpatch, otherwise I would be very tourqued off. They need to get this worked out otherwise they will be subject to fines as product is supposed to be available for medical patients they may be skirting the letter of the law by having a couple of choices, but only a tard would pay $70 for an 1/8 @ 20.9% THC! For the first time in six or seven visits I left empty handed! Only a few like me need to leave empty handed and you’ve damaged your bidness.

The atmosphere is very judgmental. False advertisement, rude management. Will not return.

When you are charging $90 for a quarter of NGW popcorn, it is ALL ABOUT PROFITS. Maribis has a great staff and it is a shame they are price gouging just like all the other dispos.

I have been coming to this dispensary since it opened and unfortunately it’s went to s**+. The supply stock was fantastic then but not anymore . Other dispensary’s are doing their part in helping protect the community by having online ordering and easy pickup for those with serious conditions . I felt going in like it was a virus convention muggy and no air circulation .. Do your part Maribis and protect the folks that put your dispensary in business

2nd time visit, I thought I'd go back to HCI, but it might take a while going back there, seams like every time I go in there to Maribis they are giving this or that away to try. No other place does this every time. The Staff is very good to, and there is hardly ever a wait time to get in there

What is the point of having an online live menu, if you’re not going to have everything available on the live menu? I don’t want to add items when I get there, that is the whole purpose of the online ordering. Illinois Supply and Provisions has you guys beat hands down.

I have to say I've been to several dispensaries around the state of IL and Maribis of Springfield is definitely a favorite of mine. I really appreciate the LAB REPORTS of each cannabis product they carry!!! Hardly any dispensaries go the extra mile to do that for us medical cannabis patients that really need the extra info. I'm a seizure patient with epilepsy, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. I can find everything I need here at Maribis especially with my CBD needs. You see many dispensaries currently in IL claim they have a good assortment of CBD but they clearly do not when their entire menu is devoted primarrilly to THC products. At Maribis they have a great assortment of the better CBD products out there such as from cultivators SCCS, Revolution, and Bedford Grow! Not to mention they carry a lot of CBD in co2 oils such as Revolution 14:1 CBD/THC in Spectra co2 supercritical oil and SCCS Sweet Relief and Z7 etc😉 Bedford Grow has their new Cherry Wu out in flower 30:1 CBD/THC!!!!

I can't wait for a real dispensary to open in Springfield. The dispensaries in this town has proven to be unprofessional busts! Between maribis employees constantly yelling flower shortage (which a simple google search of dispensaries proves this "line" as false) to the inability of HCI to communicate, enough is enough. Greed is an ugly drug that permeates every decision in Illinois, we get that, but constantly covering up for a managers decision to order what med patients can't/won't use is unforgivable. Buy all the vape, edible, resin bs you want but NEVER expect this dispensary to have med quality flowers. Pitiful!

I am also finding the limited selection and high prices to be an issue. One single strain of flower on the menu today - 1% THC, high CBD. I have had my medical card for several years and have found vaporizing THC flower gets me the level of relief I need for my condition. I also use my vaped flower to make more cost effective edibles than what is sold in the store. I do not find concentrates or carts to be an effective replacement for my needs. Concentrates can be too much for me and carts just don’t do the trick. Also, some people don’t have the gear necessary to switch to dabs, without having to make an additional investment just to be able to get their meds. While it appears the problem is not limited to Maribis, the selectionappears to be worse than other nearby dispos on the leafly app. It also should be noted Maribis is owned by a cultivator, Bedford Grow, so they are part of the low supply problem. These cultivators successfully lobbied to keep the amount of grow licenses low, but can’t keep up with the demand. As far as service, everyone there is friendly, but largely unhelpful in making suggestions or knowledgeable about the terpene contents of the products they sell. Atmosphere is non existent. Bare bones and sterile, but not professional. Kind of shady.

Wheres the inventory? No selection, rushy "budtenders". The one with her page of notes has the personality of a brick. No thanks.

Another wonderful weekly visit to the best Medicine Shop in town. I have some intense PTSD that makes it impossible to get out of bed at times. This stuff has allowed me to actually have good days. I have plenty of bad days still. But just getting the chance to laugh and smile again. Anyone up for sharing their story?

Friendly staff, much better prices than the other dispensaries in the central/southern IL area, and a wide selection of products.

Date of Review: 3/26/2019 Date of Current Review: 7/14/2019 Note: I am in no way associated with Maribus, so all opinions below are mine; I am not a corporate shill. Please see my first review for my initial impressions of Maribus and its staff; it is lengthy, but I hope that it is informative enough to help anyone reading this now to make an educated decision when selecting their dispensary. After five months of being a patient, not much has changed since writing my first review; in fact, things have gotten better the more that I have gotten to know the staff, all of whom very much care for every patient who walks through the door. Before discussing the staff, I will reiterate that the store is well-lit, secure, and always clean; there is a professionalism extolled by its manager(s) that goes into the dispensary's maintenance and presentation. It is always clean; the security guards are always friendly; and the atmosphere reflects the medical / healing nature of a proper medical office. The waiting room is fine, and actually allows for a 1:1 interaction with your budtender without disruption; the sales floor, therefore, is never crowded with people waiting behind you in a queue like dispensaries in other states. As for the staff, there have been additions and subtractions, but the people whom they have and continue to hire are exceptional. The staff take the time to get to know each patient, greeting each by name and, time permitting, have a conversation with you; of course they are knowledgeable and will answer any questions about strains and what will likely work best for your body. Also, they will recommend their favourites and provide candid feedback, both from personal experience and comments given by their patients; it is not all about the "sale". However, the conversation about which I was referring above is a casual, friendly, back and forth exchange that you would have with a friend, making the service more than a simple transaction. The quality of the service coupled with the knowledge of the budtenders is consistent and what you would expect at an established dispensary ... irrespective of location. The only "complaint" that I have is that they are a victim of supply and demand. Maribus has seen an uptick in patients, so your favourite strain may go quickly. However, they are great in the quality and variety of their product offerings and price their products slightly cheaper than other dispensaries. If you have a strain for which you are looking and they have sold out of it, your budtender will suggest comparable strains. As for suggestions, as Maribus scales its business, I would highly recommend implementing an online ordering system to help streamline the process; for patients who know what they want, this would be a fantastic value-add to its service offering. Maribus is a well-managed, well-staffed dispensary that provides value-added customer service to complement its ability to leverage its vendors to deliver variety and quality products. Cheers!

I guess I should thank you:) I've never thought strongly on quitting before, but thanks illinois for ruining a good thing:)

Your store inventory sucks. Last week I thought maybe the menu was messed up. So I stopped by dispensary and they had one (thc)flower to choose from. Used to replenish flower inventory when number of strains would drop in thirties. I transferred to maribis from hci because of parking problems. Looks like I need to check them out again. How much business do you want to lose? If you can't meet customer's needs, they will go elsewhere. Really disappointed.

This dispensary has improved their price range & offered multiple sale days like Shatterday, Wax Wednesday & most holidays. Maribis now offers assistance for low income patients & has a recycle bag green discount. These improvements, impressive menu selection & convenient Springfield location makes Maribis my go to store for medication. ✊😎✌

Giving all their business to HCI I guess.

Maribis Springfield is the best dispensary for a good 100-mile radius. The fact that Maribis (Springfield & Chicago) put patients before an immediate payday (I'm looking at you & your one line for med & rec, HCI) is significant and sparks loyalty from me. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and I've never walked out of Maribis feeling ripped off. Maribis is a for-profit business that does an outstanding job of balancing client needs & well-being with profit. I'm glad they're in Springfield, and it's the only dispensary I will frequent here.

Back again since last Friday, placed a 514$ order today. Was expecting to get my normal bulk discount, instead, I found out marabis has dropped yet another promotional deal. From the bag discount, to raising prices on all products quarterly. Now the bulk discount. Idek who the new management is, but I can’t wait for the craft grows. Candy and rob was amazing as always!!

So glad Maribis is not selling recreational yet! They chose patients over profits. That doesn't happen very often. Thanks so much Maribis!!

Never a good selection. I find what I want online but go to order and they don't have. Prices are higher then ever. Just for 1/8 of flower for example. Min $55. Cartridges over $45 for half gram. The location does not warrant such high prices, the parking lot tears up your car. Must be because they opened another store, but just for rec of course. Medical should be priority.
