Bloom - Portland

love this despensary! they really get involved in the marijuana community, have great bud, great employees, and they regular deals that blow the competition away. they did green friday deals with 25 dollar quarters, this month they have 35 dollar quarters of trainwreck. so glad I live really close to them! best dispensary in Portland!

I recently made "BLOOM" my apothecary of choice. I have been to many others. Some are a poorly lit. Some are staffed by strange characters. One place asked if I am a policeman. The bottom line is some places make me feel uncomfortable. Maybe I don't fit their notion of the average consumer. I am 61 years old. I have lots of questions... and I ask them! I like to be an informed consumer. I like to shop at "BLOOM" because: A) They are located in a safe neighborhood with plenty of on street parking. B) The store is bright, well lit, and CLEAN! C) Melanie, the proprietor is a doll. She's pleasant, knowledgeable, and always goes the extra mile. She takes the time to answer my questions and knows the properties of the different strains her store carries. D) Mike, an employee, is the same way and always greets his customers promptly and with a big smile on his face. E) The prices are fair, (maybe even on the low side), and the QUALITY is high ( pun intended!). I guess I am especially suggesting "BLOOM" for folks around my age, who just want to find a nice place where they are warmly welcomed and treated kindly.

Bloom was the first dispensary I ever visited when I became a medical marijuana patient. I was nervous and a little apprehensive about going into a dispensary for the first time but the budtenders at Bloom were extremely helpful and down to earth. That was about 4 years ago... Now we just about have a dispensary on every corner in Portland, but Bloom is still the classiest spot with the most helpful, friendly budtenders around!

Great store, great selection, and incredibly helpful staff.

Great atmosphere and super quick service. The guys in there showed me new flowers I've never heard about.

Best zone for everything and I have shopped everywhere in PDX. Also bud tenders are very knowledgeable.

I have been to several dispensaries in town and this one has huge potential to be the best one yet. They are growing one of the best stains I have seen in a long time called "Starz" I have diabetic neuropathy in my legs and a little of this stuff went a long way with helping my pain level...I will for sure be back for more! Thanks Bloom!

Bright, clean, spacious . . . charming staff went out of their way to help me take advantage of their current sales. I hope they verify in the 'deals' section that they price match (at least they said so in another review response). That would make them hard to resist, especially at the prices of medibles.

We were just driving by on our way home from the Expo Center and our feet were killing us. We didn't have any CBD caps with us, so we decided to stop in. Wasn't too sure about the neighborhood, but its across the street from Nike, so how bad could it be? They didn't have the CBD caps we were looking for, but did have a nice selection and I managed to find something to buy that I just had to have.... We'll watch to see if they add CBD gell caps to the menu and won't hesitate to stop in again instead of driving by!

Had a bit of a wait time (visiting just a couple days after recreational sales became legal), but didn't mind. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and prices were great. I'll be back for sure!

Inside this dispensary it looks great. There's bright lighting and it's set up very similar to a pharmacy, with people behind the counter and product prepackaged. I came in to purchase an ounce because I am a OMMP card holder. I was told that I couldn't purchase an ounce because it wouldn't be fair to send somebody (with a OMMP card) home with a bunch of product while the rec users only get 1/4. Really? So basically you're telling me you don't want my business? I was actually offended. That's cool, I know I will not be returning. I have not tried the bud I did purchase yet but I would like to point out that everything is prepackaged and if it's weighed (which I guess they hope nobody does) it comes up short. Don't forget, once it's in your hands, you're stuck with it. The parking in the back is very shady where mentally ill homeless people are walking around. It's a very unsafe environment (parking lot, not the dispensary). I wouldn't suggest turning around OMMP holders because we have legit health issues and that is why we have the card in the first place. I've had my card since 2007. They said that Bloom was originally a dispensary for OMMP holders which is very difficult to believe after being told I can't buy an ounce. They want to look cool to all the rec users so I won't return.

I wasn't going to say anything because I'm a pushover so I put it off and I also know nothing will be done to fix it (although they probably will respond to this to come in). I won't return to buy more, not going to fall for that again. It's my loss. Bloom is a nice shop but they included a vaporized bud in my bag and I'm not happy at all. I'm only posting this to warn visitors and make sure they open it and show you everything to avoid this in the future. Whoever did it should feel guilty for doing such a thing.

decent flower yet ive had a few issues with bloom. the fact that everything is pre packaged makes for high chances youll get something old or dry. happens over half the time i go. i had something dated as fat back as 2/18/15 when i purchased it at in the beginning of October. id much rather visit other shops in the area

This is a very professional, clean and aesthetically tasteful space! I got the Island Sweet Skunk recommend by Cooper and it was some of the best kush I've ever smoked! I had 4 or 5 hits from a joint with it and i was so stoney that when i got home my other weed didn't even effect me (an entire bong bowl to myself) Bloom has incredible kush, great service and a very nice atmosphere, i would highly recommend it

this is a good new dispensary, this was my first time in & I got 2 grams of the Nepalese Hash, it's hella good & I got a free gram of Starz that was a good one too

great staff,better bud,and it's right next to russell st. bbq.perfect one stop shop :)
