Initial impression: I saw this strain sitting in its glass jar with almost an oily bluish sheen to it. Come to find out it was such dark blue and purple that the light being bounced off gave this strain an oily sheen to it, kinda neat if you ask me. I was excited to see a strain with such varying phenotype distinctiveness and displays. My initial impression was of some wonder and a little marveling over the aesthetics of this strain.
I use a scale of 10 points, 10 being the highest possible score in any category, with 3 total categories, Taste / Aroma / Potency.
Aroma: 5.5
The aroma is reminiscent of a light piney, spicy, earthy pungent-ness. The aroma was okay, was really light ans subtle, which was nice. Nothing really special.
Taste: 7.5
The taste of this bud was something quite different than its scent. Like the aroma, the taste was also light. The initial taste of this is more earthy and piney than its smell leads you to believe. The taste of this bud was okay, left me wanting more flavor. I am not saying this is bad, I am also not impressed, this strain was okay for a middle of the week night toke.
Potency: 7.0
The strength of this euphoria was like everything else about this strain just okay. This strain had a THC rating in the high teens, either I am smoking way to much and can't really feel feelings anymore, or this was a weaker plant. Ill try it again just to make sure it was a fluke.
Final opinion: I thought this strain was just okay. This is one of those strains that is average. I have read the genetic info based on this Indica cross, and was thinking that with genetics from which this plant hails, it was the runt of the littler (just my thought). This is an okay strain to take part in as a newbie.
Total points awarded: 20 out of 30 better than average but far from awesome.

I have been trying numerous strains trying to find just the right one to help with chronic pain and anxiety. Tora Bora eliminates my pain I have no anxiety with it. I don't have a head-high so I can still do things as long as I don't Vape too much. It puts me in a very relaxed, pain free state of being. I am very grateful that I have found this strain. This is one strain that I will always keep on hand. I have a very low tolerance and I would never hesitate to use this strain. like with everything I start off slow and slow you can always add but it's harder to subtract.
The tora bora I have is very potent, a friend of mines grows it to make wax/shatter and I was just lucky enough to snag an oz. of this lovely floral flower before its essence was extracted and transformed into that 5* wax. It hits hard, focusing on my mind with thought loss potency, then slowly creeping down relieving any ailment on it descent down, down down, til my whole body is happy, relaxed and feeling like the epicenter of all things good. The smoke is heavy and piney with a hint of sweet spiciness...nutmeg, cinnamon, all spice? The buds are dense but lightweight, lots of terps and slightly sticky. This strain appears to be more on the LA Confidential side of its genetics from the look of it. My friend doesn't get the flowers tested but I would say its around 22% THC. The wax he makes tests around 75% THC and 6% CBD. Tora Bora is a great strain if you can find it. I lucked up on it and I love it!
I have been growing this one for the past four years. It's my 'go-to' strain for the garden and to enjoy. It does the trick for helping me sleep, alleviating my stress/anxiety and various pain (brought from dealing with stress all day, clinching and such, your body pays for it). If growing, go an extra week, you'll love the results. It can also take heavy feedings, and is pretty forgiving if you stumble a bit while growing. It's also a great kief maker and makes a wicked concentrate. All in all, one of my favorites.
A panacea. I don't really consider this a recreational strain so much as medicinal. High CBD and THC. Even though it is a CBD strain it's potent. Excellent for insomnia and getting to sleep. Helps pain too. Before I ran out it was my go to strain for sleep. If you don't go to sleep you have this feel that something psychedelic might happen, as if I'm about to dream awake and see something, but it doesn't happen.
Not for day time use though. I had it during the day once and I was annoyed because I just wanted to sleep. Smells like bliss, tastes like earthy chai butane. But that butane taste shouldn't be because its a concentrate I have other concentrates same brand (Happy Camper) and this is not the case. I look forward to buying this strain again.
amazing, 3 hits in and I'm blown.I've been smoking for most of my life. every day and this got me up on cloud 9
A great High CBD strain. It had a very nice uplifting body high that relieved my stomach pains without putting me out.
