What a fantastic strain combination of Sour Diesel and OG Kush, this version of SK was raised in a greenhouse grow, she turned out absolutely amazing buds, coated in thick amber colour trichromes with burnt orange hairs covering the the coat of green, being a sativa dominant hybrid strain she does have an amazing uplifting happy type of effects which is great in relieving high levels of stress and pain, with it being a kush cross she does have a relaxing side that can assist with minor aches and pain

Very good delayed sativa effect and I like the flavor
The effects, while pretty balanced are also very subtle. While great for others, left me wanting more relief, even as I continued to medicate. Just didn't relax me or treat my pain/anxiety/fatigue as effectively as I'd like. There are many enthusiasts of this strain, its just not for me.
Good smell, good taste. Powerful enough "high" for those that wish to use recreationally. However, this strain always makes me feel DESPERATELY hungry, which would be great for patients that need appetite stimulants, but very bad for me. It's not hard with this strain to eat until I'm sick and continue eating. It also dried my eyes and throat out terribly. Two stars for my experience, but I can certainly see this strain being great for someone in need of its specific effects.

love it. sight, smell, taste feel... senses are expanded to a spiritual level, applying relief to anxiety. stimulates appite, and creates an even sense of being. This is a good strain to drop in ur leaf vaporizer or just burn in a bowl or wrap- tastes and smells amazing.
"I got sunshine, in a bag..." First off, Sour Kush is one of the more potent strains personally. It's key feature is uplifting - but not in a pushy, racy kind of way. The invigoration is gentle and fluid, as if you can feel your energy in the form of tingling and warmth crawl upward towards the tip of your head. There also follows for me the feeling of my head expanding outwards as if my mind has taken in more of it's environment and taken it for part of itself which feels pretty grounding - despite the airy flowing nature of this high. It's uplifting characteristics are like some kind of super ginseng as apposed to a highly potent caffeinated beverage. It's good for headaches like caffeine can be though. I've mentioned warmth, that sensation is really what sums up the effects, not just in a physical way but mentally too. Like sunshine.
The negatives...when on this strain I don't really like being around people, as I feel a little anxious and just want to be free to be in my happy high sunshine world. While it is generally functional for solitary tasks, I feel it drives my thinking a bit tangential.
I have yet to try this with friends, but it does seem like a good social strain as long as the friends are close and like minded (due to that anxiety that arises from desiring allowance for genuine expression).
This is a heavy strain. I would recommend not having anything else to do after you smoke it. It doesnt make you tired but you certainly dont feel like getting up off the couch. Its a heavy head high.
So..I smoked this strain for the first time, after reading that it is good for daytime pain relief. I have Ulcerative Colitis, and get horrible stomach pains and pain around my colon. Well, within about an hour or so,the pain was in a very mild state,in what was a severe state before I smoked some Sour Kush. Now it does make your heart race somewhat, but the fact it pretty much got rid of my horrible digestive pain,is such a huge lifesaver..and I can deal with the slightly elevated heartrate.
