As a huge sativa head I'm always looking for any I can get my hands on. Unfortunately being in the Bible Belt on the east coast I can't exactly go to a store and shop, I've got to rely on some friends across the country, however I just purchased 2 new sativas I've never tried, this one and Flo. The high from this one was phenomenal, very outgoing and talkative, however for me it only lasted about 2-2.5 hours and didn't help my pain at all.
The perfect strain if your going through something. I felt a little dingy but my mind wasn’t thinking about anything stressful. (Took me 10 minutes to write this lol 😂)
This is the only strain I use. The vape cartridges I get taste like orange/diesel/cinnamon. It’s an unusual flavor profile at first but when you get used to it it’s absolutely delicious. I can hit it first thing in the morning and have a good day. I can take a few puffs on my lunch break and still hold a conversation with my boss, no anxiety, and still be productive. My favorite thing is when it gives me the giggles. I’ll be lost in my thoughts and realize I’ve been laughing to myself about something and usually don’t even remember what it was. I don’t really know the medicinal benefits because I was looking for something I could use regularly. I found that. Great for going out to run errands or for going to a bar or concert, great for sitting on the couch watching a movie or for reading, great in the morning, at night, and any time in between. I can’t recommend it enough.
pretty good strain. nice head high, stony, energetic.
Red Headed Stranger is a powerful sativa, elevating thoughts and awareness while also creating a rhythmic/pulsating type body high. I microdosed this and the small amount I had has such a quick and strong effect.
It gave me elevated thoughts but also made me realize just how quickly it could give me a paranoid episode. So I will probably always have to microdose this.
The session of body pulsations lasted for about 10-15 mins before I realized they were subsiding. I’m assuming that high will last longer with larger amounts used.
I’ll have to get an herb vaporizer to really experience the flavor. Smoking it didn’t really give me any incite.
With the thoughts a bit elevated from my this I think an action or comedy movie or socializing with fun activities would be best. I have a horror movie I need to finish and I figured I’d hold out on that for now... lol
Coming down off the high, I can feel my eyes getting heavier and I’m sure sleepiness will kick in.
It’s a strong strain that I guess veteran smokers can have and still do a lot but I will have to get used to it.
I picked this strain up based on reviews.
I use cannabis as medicine vs rec. high, so my review is based on how it did medically for me.
1. It triggered a horrible headache, both times I smoked it. I do use cannabis as a way to help
Treat migraines, so this ended up being an awful strain for me.
2. No body relief of pain at all
3. The nugs were dense and thickly covered with trichomes.
4. I smoke in order to keep
Food down & keep me
From being too nauseous to eat. This allowed me
To eat about 1/2 banana before horrible headache hit, then I couldnt eat due to nausea from Headache.
Overall, I have almost an 1/8th left and hate it.
Red Headed Stranger from Ilera is a nice way to start the day. Small, loose, dark green buds covered in dark orange, almost brown fuzzies. A pleasing sweet & spicy aroma and flavor. Left me feeling energetic, happy, chatty and a little giggly. Being chatty and giggly is always amusing when I'm alone. It also seemed to relieve some joint pain. Pairs perfectly with Barbarosa.
Productive without the panic. Clear headed clean high. Good mood. No weird side effects when the high wears off. Good giggly high but not intense. Good sativa for new smokers as well
