Purple Urkle reviews

So the wife and I finally came across some Purple Urkle after looking for several years. To be honest, I really started looking for it in earnest after I heard the reference to it in the movie xXx: The Return of Zander Cage. We are both fans of indicas, so it definitely was high (indeed) on our wish list. The eye and nose appeal were spot on. Definitely sporting lots of purple tinge and what would be considered a slightly sweet smell. It seemed to be a bit on the dry side when I broke off some for the grinder but we hoped for the best. That said, it burned very well and the inhale was actually pretty smooth. I can only imagine how good it would have been if it had been just a little less dry. After several good rips, we settled back and were instantly impressed with how quickly the effects hit. Very body-centric buzz going on with a slight case of the giggles. You could feel your body humming and all of your senses seemed to amplify. I would like to say how long the effects lasted but we zonked fairly soon afterwards. I do know we were both feeling buzzed as we drifted off to an extremely restful sleep about an hour after sparking up though. Glad we were able to find this strain as it absolutely lived up to our expectations. This will be front and center on our top shelf.

Migraine pain comin on; nausea 5-6 when I medicated round 0100 or so. Takes bout 5 min to start working. Pain/nausea gone. No anxiety/paranoia (must for me). Body & head high heavy which is obviously what I wanted @ 0100. Went to big sleepy round 0130. Highly recommend for nighttime use for pain/nausea/insomnia.

This is probably my favorite strain for chronic back pain and tension headaches/migraines. Completely relaxes my poor back muscles, while still leaving me pretty functional, as long as I don't have to go too far.

I just picked up a 1/4 of Purple Urkel & 1 bowl is all it took to relax my whole body. Thank you guys for getting this one back in again.

In my opinion, this is very underrated strain. In my opinion it deserves 4.6 stars, first off it’s a og strain from back in the good ole days. Like grand daddy purp, is lifts you up to another level and gives you full body relief that leads to focused euphoric insight on just about anything you have in front of you. One of my personal favorites, just under the legendary GDP of course. 😉

Best for insomnia, nothing prescribed(ambien) or holistic herbs (melatonin,5htp,ect) work quite as we'll for me as 3-5 hits of purple urkle, love it! ZzZz. 2 nice hits leave me very mellow, and stress free taking rips every 15-20 min or so to keep the high steady. Anything more and I'm incredibly sleeping usually 3-5 back to back hits from my bubbler has me sleeping like a baby.

Purple Urkle is a good strain. I'm more into Sativa strains (or hybrids), but for a Indica it is very nice and made me sleepy. Not in the sense that it knocked me out, but when I was ready to go to bed, I was easily able to. This is great for me because I have sleeping problems, but I don't like to just pass out. I'm not one to get super euphoric on weed (more chilled out and with Sativas creative, thoughtful etc.) but Purple Urkle did a good job at making me feel very content with life. Many of my stressors, while still technically "there", did not concern me. I was able to just focus on the moment. Definitely great. I gave this strain 3 1/2 stars because although it is great and helps greatly with sleep and stress, it just didn't satisfy my desire to have my mind expanded. But once again, that is why I'm more into Sativa. If you want a relaxing, comfortable time and/or have sleeping problems I would definitely recommend this strain!

best strain for pain I've tried. buddy came by with some Purple Urkle and it was the most pain free I have felt since I got bilateral facet injections six years ago. My health insurance won't cover it and it wore off quickly so I have been in pain for years and I'm only 35. (I was rear ended by a semi truck.) Would love to get my hands on more of this, I was happy, relaxed, and PAIN FREE. And it only took two hits off a joint... lasted for hours.
