Easy to grow from seed. Cloning success requires skill, but will produce excellent flowering plants @ 4-5 weeks of veg. Can be harvested at 6 weeks in perfect conditions, 8-9 weeks recommended for significantly better yield and increased potency. SENSITIVE TO LIGHT LEAKS. YOU WILL GET HERMIES IF YOU DO NOT DELIVER 12 HRS UN INTERRUPTED DARKNESS. Its the only downside other than the density of the colas at full maturity may require some branches to be tied for support and also requires good humidity control. Upside is that pollinated flowers still smoke well.
fire indica. the dark purple buds and orange hairs make for a good looking bud, being an indica dominant its great for relaxation, and sleep. it also has good pain killing effects, however if you are smoking in the morning or trying to get a head high you should smoke a different strain

the flavor and feeling of the medicine hits u right away and as someone who suffers chronic anxiety, and ptsd, I would recommend this strain to anyone who could get by with a little help from their friends. also did feel a little more creative while playing my guitar. definitely one of my favorites!
Harsh hits but a great indica high. The dry eyes/mouth was a problem for me.
Earthy tones , a bit harsh
Fruity accents
Calming mellow buzz 💨
Purple Passion is one of my favorite strains because of its versatility-- it's perfect for a relaxing daytime smoke, but loading up a few bowls before bed is a great option too. You aren't locked into the effects like you would be with a stronger indica or a very cerebral sativa... instead you're given the best of both worlds with a very introspective, relaxing high. I've smoked several eighths of Purple Passion so far and can confirm its mildness. I would recommend this strain to people wanting to experiment with anti-anxiety strains. I smoke for pain relief, and this strain never fails to make me very comfortable.
The drawbacks aren't particularly noticable, but I certainly experience an exceptionally dry mouth after only a few small hits. This is to be expected of course, but the dry mouth is strong with this one. This may not be a con for some people, but the strain is also very strong smelling. I opened my bag that has about a gram or so left in it and it reeked for a few minutes even after resealing my baggie. If you're keeping things discreet in your apartment, dorm etc I would recommend double bagging or odor spray as a must. Needless to say the strain smells heavenly, a characteristic that unfortunately doesn't carry over to its taste and smoke quality. This strain is definitely harsher than most and tastes poor. The grape flavor would only be noticable in well-cured and high quality bud. I'm smoking dispensary quality Purple Passion and still don't notice any flavors beside a sage smell/taste on the retrohale; I normally admire the sage taste but this strain doesn't do it for me.
Since flavor and smoke quality are all secondary to the medical effects of this strain, I give it a confident 4 stars. I'll always smoke Purple Passion, day or night, for its rounded effects and mild relaxation.
Love this strain for insomnia. It just lulls me to sleep with a consistency I can only find in this strain.
Tried purple passion for the first time a couple days ago for a sleep aid. Got it at dispensary I had never been to before and it was in their cheaper section and it worked better than top shelf mess from other dispensary! I would recommend this strain for a sleep aid and it has become the best indica I have found for help sleeping and it also helps with pain although that was not my primary issue I was trying to address.
