I think this is an all around strain! It doesn't really have any flaws. the phenotypic qualities of Grand Daddy Purple and Blue Dream come together nicely. I'm disabled and this is a personal favorite.
Purple Dream.. success. GDP and Blue Dream come together to deliver an extremely potent high. This hybrid is a gem. When I think of both strains, Purple Dream feels like an enhanced version of either. Super badass pungent ganja.
Love Blue Dream, in my top favorite strains, so when an oz of Purple Dream went on sale at my usual dispensary, I was excited to try it. As someone who uses cannabis for appetite, anxiety and ADHD, the munchies were there and I felt very alert and focused but did steer into anxiety while coming down from the high. I’ve tried it a few times and I don’t think I’ll be finishing what I have due to this unfortunate come down.

Wow, 5* ting
This strain is amazing to me. The buds are insanely frosty, specked with purple leaves. It smells very piney and wood-like, with a taste almost similar but with a sweet berry that lingers after you exhale. The buds aren't especially dense, nor fluffy.
It ground up very well and was extremely easy to roll, as it'd keep it's shape, i.e. sticky. The smoke was smooth (a joint with paper filter) and it gave good white ash and a quick resin ring on the paper. The high was something else, keep in mind the high is different for everyone, but this is how it affects me; it creeps up slowly but never surprising me by being higher than I meant to be, and yet it's a potent strain. I felt a uplifting, creative-inducing head-high with an equally soothing, tingly body high that left me very functional. It also is quite easy to talk and keep talking, but is very controllable. Great for anxiety, depression and mild pain relief.
TL;DR, the smell is strong of pine and wood, the same the same but with an added sweet berry. Very sugar-coated with nice purple flecks. Smooth smoke, slow creeping high that doesn't incapacitate you out of nowhere. Perfect balance of head and body high while leaving you very functional, day-time use recommended.
True to it's name, this piney strain sent me to dream. I smoked a bowl and waited for the effects. After 20 minutes, the experience was still lacking drama. The effects were intensifying as time wore on, but I decided another bowl was in order. My senses already heightened from the first bowl, I tasted the classic pot flavor, a light pine taste, and a hint of mint, all while being spicy. After the second bowl I was disappointed again. I set the bag down and thought how it was a waste of money because it was so mild and not potent. 30 minutes more and I was up in the clouds, higher than I intended to be. Overall it is a great strain. The buds were some of the prettiest and flashiest I've seen. They were large, loose, and caked in trichomes, shiny as glass on a summer day. There were deep hues of intense violet, and sharp patches of red with Amber hairs. The body high was lacking in what this site says it to be. It's more of a sativa head high with a parallel of intense drowsiness and creativity that makes you go to sleep to have purple dreams.
I waited 10 minutes and and then put on my Digital Euphoria special edition track from iAwake dot com. Got into a relaxed position on the couch. Breathing slowly into my 3rd eye, I relaxed into my body.
The more I relaxed into it, I felt my body move from particle to wave state. If you are reading this and feel intrigued, you need to try it. To loosely Quote Bruce Lee “have fun in your mind”
