A trip of an herb! I’m still a relative newbie when it comes to smoking flower, but this one is very interesting. At three hits, it has a creeping effect, like you don’t even realize you’ve smoked anything, then it will hit you. Above three hits though, and it hits you right away! Munchies are big with this strain, I craved like fruity cold (sherbet) snacks. That said, the high is very cerebral and it gives focus, no fogginess with this one for the first two hours or so. After that, it gets very chill, a nice sedative effect. I use herb later at night and I read reviews that this is an energetic strain, certainly it has some qualities like that, but this strain has complexity that I haven’t found in other strains. I like it!
Should be called Orange Creeper. It creeps up but when it hits, it hits like a train. Seems I always smoke too much because it's truly enjoyable, however too much and you're more relaxed and lost in thought. A few hits and you can find me stacking wood, a task I usually hate but actually don't mind with a little of this. This might be in my top 10 favorites.
Flavor:
Orange Creamsicle tastes like eating a freshly-sliced orange while surrounded by lemon trees.
Medicinal Uses:
This has become my go-to for everyday medicinal use to treat my chronic migraine with aura, PTSD, MDD, arthritis, GERD, and multiple other forms of chronic pain. It has worked wonders for me.
I've suffered from both treatment-resistant MDD, PTSD, and chronic migraine since early childhood and I'd never found a treatment option that's safe and effective for me to treat these conditions long-term with before discovering the true gem that is Orange Creamsicle. In addition to that, since beginning regular use of Orange Creamsicle, in the matter of a few months I've been able to discontinue various pain and other medications I had to take before in an effort to treat that which wasn't being treated as effectively anyway, including my GERD medication! It has honestly changed my life.
As an additional note, I have since tried other strains thought to treat migraine or headache and have not found any other yet that alleviates the specific symptoms of chronic migraine for me. This one is certainly a keeper in my book.

This is in my Top 5 of All Time list. As a daily user, I'm always on the lookout for something that will heighten my senses and motivate me to be active and experience things vs. just a sedating effect which would give me solid sleep. This is a fantastic daytime strain, perfect for social situations and enjoying the day indoors or out. Smooth exhale and quick on-set. Also PERFECT for a proper wake & bake.
I have social anxiety and 9/10 times i’m going to choose to be comfortable and stay home. One bowl of this from a Michigan dispensary (brand: Carbon) and I grabbed my keys and went out and about. The drive to my destination was beautiful: Music sounded even more blissful, the sun was shining on me and i felt warm and safe and happy. I was talkative, goofy, and my mind was clear. Very great morning + daytime use.
This is one of my favorites. It’s a mellow high with intense…”emotions”. I can still get up and be productive if I have to, though. The taste is heavy on the citrus right in the back of your throat. Unfortunately, I can’t smell much when im high but the bud is very aromatic.
Sweet high, and takes my headache away! I was struck by a bus and this Really helps with the Pain.
I smoke pot daily, primarily to treat severe pain, nausea, spasticity, neurological issues and the insomnia and moods that go along with all of those. I have a degenerative disorder that has been getting worse pretty much since the day I was born, so it’s hard to find a strain that does any of that. Orange creamsicle pretty much covers all the bases.
I was shocked when I went back to the dispensary after the first time trying it and was told that it was a sativa. It knocked me out 2/2 times that I’d smoked it, prior to finding that out. It could be a body chemistry thing or the profound muscle relaxing effects of it, but it really affects me like an indica dominant hybrid, in the best possible way.
I smoked some 31% just before starting this review and in spite of the relief in pain and muscle tension, I feel clear-headed and present. Physically though, I’m starting to feel like I need a nap, which I never do (especially at 12:27pm). Also notable, the almost ever-present cramping pain and noise in my intestines seemed to slowly dissipate as I’ve been writing this.
This is my first time using it during the day and my conclusion is that for me personally, this is a good lazy day off strain or a good evening strain. Or if I have so much pain and functional loss that I’m lying on my back anyway, this one is truly miraculous to at least give me some relief of the passion aspect.
Maybe other people will get some sativa weekday energy out of it, but for me, this is the best one for when insomnia or pain is at an 11.
I feel that a lot of strains lack specificity for medical users, so I hope this will help.
Highly recommended for those in need of a medically versatile strain.
Seriously, I created an account just now to tell you how great it is. If you’re in pain, get this. Send me some as a thank you. Just kidding. Unless you want to? 😏
If I had a top 5, I don’t know which they’d all be, but this and Jack Herer would definitely make the cut.
