I picked up this strain on a whim. And I was not disappointed. Especially because he gave it to my at such a decent price. The buds were gigantic. My eighth was one bud that ended up weighing close to 4 grams. The buds are nice and dense mostly green with hues of purple. Nice amount of crystals that cover the entire bud. I think one of the reasons I liked this strain is that it can be used during the day. The Trainwreck lineage shines by killing any depression or anxiety. Then at night smoke a little more and the Northern Lights shows itself with all its glorious Indica properties. Definitely a keeper.
This is a very heavy, heady strain. Proceed with caution. It's intense both in a spacey sense and a physical one. Expect gravity to increase a bit and your attention to be focused.
I think the northern wreck was by far one of my favorites. the 28.96%THC really relaxed me in the head. great for my anxiety.
Strong stuff. Every time I've bought it, THC is in the 29-31% range, so it's crazy strong. Very relaxing full body high, with cerebral effects and euphoria. First time I smoked it, I settled into the couch after a single small bowl and settled in for a night of Fargo Season 2.
I've smoked this several times since then, in joints and bongs. The taste is a bit harsh, less so through a bong, but it's definitely tasty. Earthy and a bit piney. And the effects come on quickly. It's an 80-20 indica dominant strain, but that doesn't mean the sativa head high isn't there. It definitely is, and it definitely hits like a trainwreck. I smoked a half gram joint of this walking my dog in the evening, and 10 minutes after finishing it, found myself totally puzzled about where I was ... 500 feet from my house. I figured it out and got home just fine, and was able to take care of a few things before bed. And when I got to bed, the indica side turned on the afterburner. Crazy strong body high that wrapped me in a warm blanket and sent me hurtling through space into a deep, deep sleep.

Northern Wreck is beyond celestial! Northern Lights blew me away at first. But then I tried this! This is the first strain that I've experienced tingling in my lips and face - and my tolerance is pretty decent! and woah! It's heavy thc of 31% is just insanity! Phenomenal!

when you cough till you drool a little bit, it's stronger then I thought. beautiful buds, almost perfect density. nice thick clouds...
I've been smoking off and on for 20 years, despite this, I can't say I've ever smoked something that legitimately made me happier. This was a surprising mood boost without being too heavy of a head high to continue other tasks around the house. It wasn't a silly or giggly type if mood, but just calm, happy, and feeling generally good. My ptsd and anxiety can get very overwhelming at times, just a few hits of this in some of those darker moments made it so much easier to fight off a bad mood or episode before I sank any lower. (Heavier use eventually put me to sleep, which is a bonus at night, but if you keep a nice buzz going during the day this stuff, for me, was an awesome mood booster.)
