Daily smoker here, also pretty high tolerance. Doesn’t matter if I smoke more heavy/hitting indica’s, with a higher THC content, Northern Lights relaxes me more than any other indica I’ve ever smoked, probably because it’s of the few, pure indica strains left out there. Always a full-on-body-relation & helps me sleep, especially with continued use. The terps are great too. I definitely keep this strain on rotation & purchase anytime it’s available. It may not have the highest THC content, but it packs a powerful punch.
it really glued me to the bed and honestly may be one of my new favorites and go to for my pain
heavy on the body but not too heady, a nice strain to workout with, or take a kush nap
One of my favorites. The effects are suuuuper mellow. The taste was amazing both times I have been lucky enough to try some (although quite different from one plant to the next).
During the day it just slowed everything down so I could think clearly and stop anxiety.
During the night it is one of the best strains for insomnia I have tried. It gets me to sleep super fast if I use it so. Sometimes I'll do a session while watching a movie with my gf and I'll go to sleep during the first half of the movie.
I am almost eager to find some seeds and learn how to grow this amazing strain.
I got the weed from the Indian Coffeeshop in Eindhoven. Well worth the trip
I first tried this as a teenager in 92 ! I loved it then and I love now ! The slightly citrus , very peppery flavors
Make this one very tasty! Great for the body and mind!
OMFG. This is The Stuff!
Full disclosure, I'm using a 1:1 THC: CBD Northern Lights vaporizer cartridge.
I was initially skeptical about 1:1--I had first heard it being talked up at California dispensaries when I would visit family out there, and honestly, I thought it was all talk (budtenders would say things like "oh the entourage effect" and "of course, everyone knows cannabis works best in a 1:1 ratio" and I was just like, "OK buddy, stop trying to sell me on this...!"). Well, a few months ago, I tried my first 1:1 product while visiting a friend in Cali and I finally became convinced it wasn't all hype. So when I got back to the East Coast, and saw a 1:1 Northern Lights vape cart at one of my local dispensaries, I thought I'd give it a fair shake.
I am NOT disappointed--in fact, I'm positively thrilled! This is THE solution to insomnia--something I've struggled with basically my whole life, at least since I was old enough to figure out it was an issue for me, in my early teen years. I have tried a few other strains, hoping to find a good solution to my insomnia, and some have been really great at helping me get to sleep. But, the 1:1 element in this Northern Lights cart takes my insomnia cure to the next level. Not only does it help me feel very relaxed and to fall asleep quickly, it definitely helps me achieve the best QUALITY sleep I have possibly ever had. At least according to my FitBit, I have a perfect balance of REM, light, and deep sleep whenever I used this 1:1 version of this strain--something no other cannabis strain has managed to afford me, so far (REM sleep always suffers at least a little when I used pure THC strains).
Furthermore, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the gentle but awesome cerebral stimulation Northern Lights offers!! I usually smoke or vape before going to bed, to unwind and relax and help me nod off, but I usually like to watch a movie or TV show or listen to music before heading off to Dreamland. My 1:1 Northern Lights is PERFECT for enjoying this experience before quickly and easily nodding off for the night! It is an incredible cerebral experience anytime I use it. (For example, as I watch my favorite TV shows, like Lucifer or Battlestar Galactica or Star Trek--yes, I'm a huge geek!--I cannot help but let my mind wander off in some really meta directions every time I use this vape cart...like, to the point where I tend to have to rewatch a scene a few times because I keep losing track of what's happening, but in the BEST WAY--because my mind is processing stuff on an entirely different level--like, "OMG, Neil Gaiman is a genius because this is a meta commentary on how all humans need to be able to tell themselves a story of who they are or want to be--and wow, what a variety of stories our many human cultures have to offer us to choose from, amazing...!!--in order to become who they REALLY are--oh wait, what is this murder they are trying to solve actually about...?? Lemme just rewind a lil bit...". OR, "OMG, Gen Z loves bands like Blondie not just because of memes, but because of the crossover appeal this band offers--after all, they were able to appeal to punk audiences AND disco audiences AND pop/new-wave audiences--AND it turns out that Gen Z actually likes disco I think...!? Because there's definitely a melodic relationship between Dua Lipa's 'Levitating' and the Beegees' 'Stayin' Alive!'" ...lol, yep, total High-deas, but I absolutely love it, and this strain just makes me laugh about it, not paranoid about it.). It's just the right balance of "now I can PROFOUNDLY enjoy my evening routine AND fall asleep quickly and easily whenever I'm ready...!" (My favorite strain of all time is Jack Herer, and now I can definitely see where a huge part of that cerebral high comes from...! If you like Jack Herer, but want something a little bit more sedating/less energizing, this is a perfect option!)
I sure hope I can get my hands on this in the future because this could be my new everyday (OK, everyNIGHT) medicine for the foreseeable future...!
Helps with pain
perfect for both stress and pain
