Northern Lights is a heavy indica made up of beautiful dense buds with a dark tint to them. The smoke is crisp and smooth with an earthy smell to it very herbal scent overall great strain for body pain and just relaxing fair warning this strain might put you to sleep
I have had covid-19 for at least a month and in The beginning of the third week I came across the strain. in northern lights. I heard that the strain was a legendary strain. And i must say. For the chest pains that I have had from the covid, THIS STRAIN LEGIT SAVED MY LIFE.
My muscles became extremely tight in my ribs area. And my throat started to feel like it was closing. it was the scariest shit I’ve ever experience. But within that experience I was smoking this strain and I must say that this strain has really relaxed all the nerves that’s in my body every single time when I felt like my muscles was getting tighter and tighter one hit of this strain made every part of my muscle. Relax my muscles, my mind from freaking out, and my mood!
Please legalize marijuana so the people can I feel the same relaxation that I have!!!!
Northern lights is a crazy, euphoric strain; it seems to make me giggly, while it's effects help my husband's libido!
This is one of our favorites and we are glad it is still around. ❤
Let me start by saying that I initially was attracted to this strain because of its alleged pain relieving qualities. I am in my mid-50s and a desk worker for most of my life, so as you can imagine my back is not in the best shape.
Things have been getting progressively worse though over the course of this year and a few months ago things progressed from generalized low back discomfort into full-blown sciatica. Eventually, I ended up having to get an epidural injection in my spine to relieve the pain. That injection was one of the single most excruciating things I have ever experienced right up there alongside childbirth.
After the injection I went home and crawled into bed and attempted to make myself comfortable but nope, that wasn't happening, even with the Perc from the Rx. Cue Northern Lights: it took about 10 draws on my disposable vape pen, and the pain just sort of melted away. It's day 4 after injection and there's still a little pain there, but it's much more manageable.
The reason it's a 4 star rating is that it rips my throat up something fierce when I vape it. Next time I'll try flower.
I love it! Very noticeable qualities. I needed to become sleepy because it’s 5 in the morning, and I feel great! I can fall asleep with no problem. God bless y’all ✝️🌹🍃
One of my comfort strains. It transcends being just “high”. At this point, “levitated” is all that comes to mind. Very nice when you’re about to head to bed, but you might just stay high up until the morning, you got a 50/50 chance of that. Don’t underestimate this strains power to SEDATE you!
Always been a fan of Northern Lights. It’s one of those strains that’s comforting. Just kinda wraps your up in a big stress free blanket burrito. It helps a lot of my MS symptoms and sleep is much easier to achieve. I mix this with Pre 98 and the combination is instant tranquility.
Northern lights was one of the first medical strain I ever tried in California back in early 2006. It has never failed me! When you find this in any form. Concentrate flower etc grab it!!! Amazing strain to have on hand.
I'm from Newark, NJ which doesn't have much in the way of variety of weed strains. I have had Grandaddy Purp, Blue Dream, Sour Diesel, and Gorilla Glue. All which give me a heavy head high which is disorienting and makes me tired. However Northern Lights had given me a mellow energy which I didn't feel "too high to function".. I love it!
