Came across a new batch of the Mendo Purps, from a new collective I had never visited, so I had to scoop some up. I've previously hd this strain from two other sources, and have enjoyed and appreciated it quite a bit each time. But this latest batch takes the cake. Large, golf ball sized nugs, deeeeeeeeeeeep purple lots of orange, and just tip to twig in diamondlike trich. Fruity as hell, I just love this stuff.
One of my top 10 strains. It's a 90s throw back for stoners. It's what the boys from Half Baked would have been ripping. Hit's solid out the gate. Not too hard, but you're going to feel it. Settles fairly quickly into a great body high with lots of giggles. Don't be surprised if you snap out and find you were couch locked for 3 hours or so, with the wrappers for $20 of Taco Bell, a half eaten/melted pint of Phish Food and Funions crumbs all over the coffee table and reruns of Ren and Stimpy playing. You're feeling pretty damn good. Be puffin or be passin.
A bud that helped me cure my bulimia, it will always have a special spot in my heart. It's a good stand-by if you need a flower which will kick nausea in the ass and stimulate an appetite. Smooth and sweet, easy on the lungs regardless of how it's smoked.
Oldie but a goody of a nighttime strain. The pheno had a pungent earthy grape smell. Smoked from double disc perc blubber and the grape flavor really came across nicely along with with hints of caramel and pepper. Euphoric relaxing high kicks in within a few minutes with the body relaxation coming on a little more slowly.
I bought an eighth of this strain, sold to me as "The Purps," when it was the "Bowl of the Day" at Beaver Bowls. The nugs were small, fruity smelling and dense -- about four to the gram.
Very strong berry / grapey taste, which I enjoyed. I've smoked three .5 to .6 gram joints so far, and the effects are strongly indica. There's very little, if any, head high; just a mellow sense of well-being combined with full body relaxation.
It's not a strongly sedating high like Kosher Kush or Jager. I've smoked this in the afternoon, and just felt pleasantly chilled out. If you want to go to sleep, this will certainly help you along the way, but, unlike other indicas, it won't boot you toward slumberland with a swift kick in the ass .
A very nice strain that I'll want to pick up again. Recommended!

I had almost given up on this strain after a couple os so so batches from different dispensaries, but now that I have had the real deal grown to perfection I am positively sold.

I’ve had this cut of MP for about a week now. This has to be one of the most purple leaf, and orange haired buds I’ve ever seen. Smell and taste is a grapey, caramel flavor, very smooth. Very “stony” and sedating. Got this cut from Nature’s Wonder in AJ. I will be getting more of this in the future.
Quickly uplifted and happy. Then talkative and giggly before leveling out into relaxation. Chill and Functional. Helps with back pain!
