It’s a creeper definitely, but then can hit hard. Worth it. Definite body high, followed by the head a while after. I found it very relaxing.

It does exist, it is not a myth. First hand experience goes back to the '70's when an intrepid local bought some seeds while in Amsterdam (labeled M-38) and started a grow in the Mat Valley just across the bay from Anchorage (40 mile drive, 10 if you were a crow). The water (Hatcher-Pass ice melt) is distinctively iron-rich and otherwise nothing distinguishes other then it is all well with a hint of peat moss. The smell is pungent and distinctive and grown by many from Homer to Fairbanks. You can drop the temperature and Purple it. There is a competing base strain in Amsterdam brought back over according to Soma the seed guy and on the menu at many American coffee shops like Gray Area and Greenhouse. All Hindu Kush kick butt but this does have a smell you wish they'd make into a cologne.

This review is on Matanuska Thunder Shatter by TR Concentrates. Vail, C.O. The thunder is all head off the rip. It got me up and at em' vacuuming, and cleaning the house. I even took my dog out skateboarding on the track at our local park. The high was pretty speedy, had me talking rather fast but I didn't get anxious. I read a few other reviews mentioning a bit of a body high but I just really didn't detect much of that, although I'm not using this strain for such reasons. I did get a slight rose/'flowery' scent and taste that was pleasant. It's really a great strain causes me to crash a bit on the comedown if I over do it though, similar to Sour D. 9/10

Having heard of this strain, I was hoping this would be better than it was. It has a nice body relaxation effect and is a smooth smoke.

Reminds me of a good chronic. Tastes like it, at least. Tastes more like regular than hydro. Visually speaking, flower is orange with tinges of red. Bud is nicely packed. More of a darker type green. Very mellow, even high. No munchies. Not within the first 30 minutes. Good for daytime work. Good for house chores. Non sleepy. Uplifted.

Nice, relaxing strain. It's a great daytime strain because it doesn't make me sleepy when relaxing me. This is also a nice euphoric strain that isn't overwhelmingly strong.

Man, this stuff is darker than a new pair of indigo denim! With dark orange hairs, it is quite exotic looking. It is much fluffier than it looks. 3 nice tokes. was the right amount. Heightened senses, especially hearing. Energetic, would have liked to lay back and listen, but I wanted to move around. This stuff could be great for hiking, listening to birds, babbling brooks, music festivals, etc. Not the strongest, but quite enjoyable. Hope I can get some in the summertime!
