This is one of my absolute favorites. My husband has dubbed it the ‘5 year old blend.’ When I’m having a bad brain day, a couple hits of this turns me into a giggly 5 year old. Complete with zero filter when it comes to sharing whatever whacky goofy thoughts pop into my head at any given notice. I’m extremely easily amused, mischievous, and I feel like I’m floating through life on a cloud.
That being said, I also need a bit of ‘herding’ to get anything done that requires any significant brain power. My husband thinks I’m absolutely *hilarious* when on this stuff though, and doesn’t mind the herding, so that’s a plus!
Definitely a potent head high, but later on I feel the body high kick in and then it’s smooth sailing to bedtime.
This stuff has been a life saver for anxiety and depression. I have ADHD too and I will say, it does not help ADHD. If anything, makes it a bit worse due to the spacey feeling at first. But for the other benefits, it’s 110% worth the lack of focus if relief from bad thoughts is what you need. Just don’t expect to get anything done after an hour or two into the high, haha.
Highly recommend.
definitely has a heavy sedative effect and calm, relaxing and really mellows you out. I'd recommend this before bed.
It's really nice anytime strain. Good if you want to chill, sit at home and relax. Or if you wanted to go to the beach or for a walk around the neighborhood. One of my favorites I've tried. Although, if you've been using it all day, you will be tired at the end of it.
Great for the end of a cold day of outdoor work or activity. A buzz that warms you up and melts the ice in you're ears. Taste like a warm cup of orange cream infused coffee. The inhale is citrus and creamy and crusty on the exhale. Lots of flavor packed into rock hard buds with sticky tricomes.
Tasty, smooth-burning strain with a powerful kick. It has a strong citrus/skunk smell with a flavor to match. The effects creep up smoothly and it will leave you feeling relaxed and happy with a soft euphoric tingling throughout the body while still giving you the mental stimulation reminiscent of a powerful sativa. One of my favorite things about Layer Cake is that you don't need to smoke much to get high, you definitely get your money's worth with this strain in so many ways. Great job to Grow Ohio.
Got this at Takoma Wellness, on sale...on sale! Beautiful fluffy buds that clog the grinder (on m-fing sale). Dry vaped at 402° on a Solo 2. Good amount of cloud for three hits on one stem/bowl/whatever. The taste is nice, citrus? Then hello sativa, a delicious and sugary high...I'm so productive and focused. Time moves like molasses around me as I jam on work, then I rise for a drink and boom, I was shifted into the molasses! Legs felt like they were magnitized to the floor, but in a good way. Grabbed some water, got back to the computer, and it was like I stepped back into a protective cone of focus. Alright, guess I should get back to whatever I was doing.
Quick turnaround, though quite strong. I’m instantly relaxed, a bit sleepy but not nodding off, happier and very chill.
Relaxing euphoric buzz. This one made me real talkative for some reason but I enjoyed it! Great for bedtime not sleepy but really chill. The only thing that sucks is it tastes like tar.
