One of my favorite all around strains. Excellent for fibromyalga pain, migraines, arthritis, and insomnia. Woodsy, nearly incense-like smell and taste. Very mellow and relaxing.
I wrote a review last night, but wanted to add to it and up the stars (why can't we edit our reviews?), because the best part of this bud, and the reason I bought it is, it put me to sleep!!! I've been having problems getting to sleep at a reasonable hour, and chamomile tea wasn't cutting it. Not only was this a lovely high that put me down into relaxation mode for about an hour; after that hour, while reading other reviews, I started nodding off uncontrollably!!! And then got my ass to bed, where I slept soundly! So if you need something for insomnia, try Hindu Kush! I'm a fan now.
Solid all around bud. It has the smell, it has nasty hairs, it has all the sleep making, food eating, pain relieving attributes that anyone would wish.
I just 20 minutes back had 5 hits of this wonderful flower in my bong. I at first thought i was dealing with a 'all tick no boom' bud.... But maybe into the 3rd hit i found out my mistake. (happy too, not cheep lol) I would recommend this to anyone who has serious pain. I try to find the strain that knock out my back pain the most, this one seems to be one of them.
With the history of this bud i have been looking for it for a long timeand am quite glad to have found it!
I received a strong version of this bud. I smoke or vape every few hours usually. This has a body high effect. It is best taken if you are planning to lie down or take a ride to a store, safety first. It is good for body pain and muscle spasms.
Very relaxing. Will get you a bit couch locked, great for right before bed. Even though it makes you so sleepy, it doesn't give you that sluggish, foggy feeling in your head like some indicas do. You'll want to sleep, but your mind will still be active and creative. Great for brainstorming ideas, art, writing, and crazy dreams. VERY stinky, not the best flavor. Think like a bitter mix of pine and sandalwood. Definitely my favorite night time strain!
I grew this in my garden this year. Harvested, cured and popped the first jar open last week while wrapping presents. Thank goodness I don’t have anything hard to wrap. It allowed me to hyper-focus but I was in slow motion. No frustration of obsessive thinking just doing. This was the early post-smoke period, so get your tasks done before the hammer comes down. The intense, deep relaxation hits you hard like entering a warm home on a very cold evening. It wraps you up like a newborn baby, soothes all your aches and pains (I have lupus and felt no pain)and it gives you the ability to relax, breathe and feel. Sleep enters gradually but with a firm grip. I work on my feet 13+ hours 4 days a week. This is my new go-to post-shift smoke. My adrenaline is usually still going so it has allowed me to wind down as well as eat before I recover for the next long a$$ night. Fučķ capitalism, grow your own weed!
On the growing side, it was very easy to maintain. Out of the four plants I grew, this one was the easiest. It was short, branchy and bushy so it would do well indoors. (I grew outdoors.) It was hot and dry and this plant loves the heat given its genetics. Medium feeder and not too funky on the final smells. Crazy trichomes and is super sticky after a good long cure. I will need to soak my grinder in some alcohol.
Grower Tips: Try to let your fresh weed cure for at least 6 weeks, use amber jars and store them completely away from light. I use an old duffel bags with old sheets wrapped around my jars.
Yield for one plant was 254 g. On the low end but we were moving across states, needed to put the house on the market and unfortunately our plants could have impacted the sale of our home even though it’s legal in that state! I grew it from a clone but plan to get some seeds and grow it indoors. It is a mainstay for my medicine cabinet. Grow your own, know where it came from and medicate yourself!
Excellent pain meds, and with a creative side too. I went from squirming in pain to writing lyrics in about 5-6 tokes. I had a twinkle in my eye for my wife ;-) Hashy smell and taste, maybe with a hint of lemon pepper and pine. It was smooth in and out, even the second bag at higher temperatures.
Interesting strain - pretty easy to 'spot' when you've seen it once or twice.
Dense, balled up nuggets that grow off each other up and down a central stem - tends to look like a natural thai stick ... telltale long thick dark orange hairs with a color hue on the buds ranging from dark olive green to beige/khaki. Not necessarily the best bag appeal to to the generally light earthy smell and darker buds, but grinding reveals a skunky citrus undertone that lets you know that looks can be deceiving.
The high is uplifting, happy, and relaxing - without being overly sedating ... leaves you with a floaty happy feeling while the relaxation and good uplifted energy show up in the chest and legs. A 'daytime' Indica for after work perhaps, or something to puff on while listening to some Bob Marley and chilling; you could even use this pretty effectively to stimulate appetite without turning into a total Indica-induced nighttime mess.
