Headband reviews

This review is actually for 818 Headband. Taste isn't super-diesel oriented, but this batch is leaning toward the sativa side like a champ. In fact, this is one of my go-to "get shit done" strains.

I suffer from migraine headaches and this gets rid off them! Since my prescription medicine typically costs me 40 dollars per pill, This is a miracle for me. This gets rid of my pain, gives me lots of energy. It is not great for people who get paranoia or anxiety when they smoke (which I do) I can deal with this though because it gets rid of my pain. :-)

STRONG. Not for beginners. It's an intense, almost trippy high with legs - so you keep going for hours. It can give you a serious next-day fog, so keep that in mind. It's very potent, almost too potent for many people I know. Again, not for the newbie.

What we have in Illinois(Chicago-land area) is strawberry headband or 707 headband. This is the review for strawberry headband which comes in at 18.95% TCH. This strain definitely lives up to the status of hybrid . The first 30-45 mins is a sativa feeling uplifting and after that the sinking couch feeling of the indica sets in. A perfect strain for just before bed , when you have a few things to finish up, but then want to relax and be pain free

Initial impression: I stuck my head into the gigantic glass container, took a big whiff and sighed with relief. The pungent, citrus earthy aroma was strong and inviting. I purchased this pre-rolled joint from Medicine Man Medical Market in Glendale, CO. Was just looking for a strain that would give me a decent buzz. Fell a little short, and here is why---> I use a scale of 10 points, 10 being the highest possible score in any category, with 3 total categories, Taste / Aroma / Potency. Aroma: 8.0 As stated above, this is one of the more pleasant cannabis aromas I have smelled. It has an earthy base to it, with rather pungent overtones of skunk and mild citrus tang to it. Aesthetically, I liked the compact tight buds, had an almost crystal sheen to the buds, pretty neat to look at. Taste: 6.5 It definitely did not taste like it smelled. Not to say that the cannabis tasted bad, or funky. It was really quite pleasant, just not the tastiest I have ever had. Lets put it this way, I'd hit it if someone passed it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it. The taste had lemon/ citrus undertones, a an earthy/skunky overtone and an earthy waft; again a pleasant strain, but certainly not the best or my favorite. I will however give this strain a another try, maybe I got a weak plant, who knows. This strain is worth another try, after all some of the best shatter I have ever had is Headband. Potency: 7.5 The high was mellow and easy going, not like some of the other strains where I felt like my head is in the clouds. It was nice, put me in the zone for a little Play Station Gran Turismo 5 work, not bragging, just a fact, took 2nd overall in the GT world A-Spec Champion. That should give you a sufficient description on how focused I was. Final opinion: This strain was grown very well, I will definitely look for this strain again for one more try, my fingers are crosses for hopeful improvement. Total points awarded: 22 out of 30, definitely a middle of the road strain.

I've giggled one to many times on the many marijuana strains I've smoked but never, I repeat, NEVER have I laughed like I did this particular night. I couldn't look people in the eyes because of I did I would burst into such tremendous laughter you'd think I was, well, high. This isn't a good strain to smoke if you want to concentrate on something in particular and it hardly makes your mind wander to much but you are filled with such euphoric energy that it does wonders for depression! I tested something out while feeling the effects of this strain. Now it might be a little strange but I'll let you know anyway because I believe it might be important to some: I had a raw cut on my lip and I bit down on it, I bit harder and harder until I finally felt the pain and it took a while to get to that point. I woke up the next day with a pretty bad cut on the same spot that was the previous day just a little patch of raw skin. Needless to say, it works wonders on pain. I mean, who needs Vicodin when you can get so much more out this natural strain right? Loved it! Definitely gonna go hunting for this strain again soon!

I thought this was all a bunch of crap when I heard that this strain actually makes you feel like you are wearing a headband, and the first couple times I tried it I thought I was right. But then I took an extra bowl one night and slowly but surely... There it was! I can not for the life of me remember how long it took to feel it, but it came on slowly and grew into what I just sat there dumbfounded for what seemed like an hour.... (Maybe it was, I was rather stoned LOL!)... as I tried to wrap my head around HOW this was possible!... (If you are stoned right now reading this you may have already started laughing at the hidden joke that I just told.... Nyuck, Nyuck!) But seriously, IT REALLY DOES feel like you are wearing a freakin' headband! I would just breakout laughing at the sensation and at how much energy I was putting into trying to figure out just how it is possible to just get a tingling sensation around you head... Then I just eventually gave up and filled another bowl! That being said however, this is a great strain. I have never had it, and when I found out that Tweed was carrying it, I had to grab a few G's. to try. At first, I was hesitant, because the price and being on a fixed income I can't afford to "Gamble" so-to-speak., but man am I glad I placed the order!! it isn't as couch locking as several other strains I have tried. I would recommend grabbing this if you are looking for a nice ... Yet different strain. It can get a tad "heady" I could see someone getting anxiety from the headband feel it will give, especially if you get anxiety very easily... But I think if you know what to expect... well, I should say what you can "POTENTIALLY" expect, as I do not get it EVERY time I use this strain, but I do now get it more often than not... I guess for me personally, I just was not taking enough to get to that level to feel it.. Surprisingly pleasant though all around. It does not make me cough like hell, or sneeze like Chem Dog does!!.. (God Chem Dog, You'd think allergy season hit me out of nowhere... HARD!) - But that is a different review for a different time. Nice and relatively smooth in my Vaporizer. If you do not have a vaporizer, I REALLY and I mean R E A L L Y recommend you get one. They are more than worth it. And if price is a sticking point, you can get a G series pen style for about $125 or so. (Here in Canada anyways.) The high I experience on this strain lasts on average about 2 hours. The headband feeling wears off sooner than that, but remember that everyone is different. You may experience it for longer or shorter depending also on how much you take. I would buy this one again.. And again..,... And again! If I had the money :-)
