I have SLE Lupus, RA, and fibromyalgia. Harlequin is my daily daytime go to for pain and anxiety relief. Fan for life!
Harlequin has truly been gold for so many different conditions. I initially started using a Harlequin RSO for muscle spasms and trigeminal neuralgia, but I've found it incredibly helpful for endometriosis, interstitial cystitis pain, and PMDD associated mood issues.
I'm a THC newbie, so I see great results with about 1.5 grains of rice worth of RSO on a spoonful of peanut butter. After about an hour, pain is significantly better. After about 2 hours, I experience a euphoric but non-impairing head high--I *feel* blissed out, but can still go shopping, do data entry, or even have dinner with the in-laws without anything more detectable than some chattiness.
Oh Harlequin, how I love thee!
I'm the type of smoker who is very sensitive to the effects of THC. I tend to get anxious and paranoid more easily than other smokers. When I discovered Harlequin, I didn't know what a CBD strain was, I only knew there was something different about it. Now, it is my most important strain. This strain gives you great pain relief. I suffer from stiffness in my muscles and this helps me feel more limber. It's also great paired with an edible! I mix it with any kind of weed and can now enjoy the effects of all the best sativas, indicas and hybrids without fear that I will suffer an anxiety attack. CBD has changed the way I view cannabis and I find that the remedy it provides to take the edge off THC is just what the doctor ordered for me.

loved it. no head high. body felt nice.
excellent strand, with the hi cbd content, it almost instantly sinks in from first hit. by far my favorite for the muscle pain in my back and doesn't take much while at the same time I'm still alert and functional during the day but also very relaxing at night.
So I picked up some Harlequin and Cannatonic from SCMN in Aptos, CA. to do a little research on the High CBD strains. The Harlequin tested at 9% THC and 8% CBD, The Cannatonic tested at 6%THC and 15%+CBD.
I definitely like Harlequin a whole lot more. I smoked some before bed, and I was able to get that really nice numbing effect in the body. I was watching some Netflix and I was able to focus on the shows that I was watching. I didn't feel too high.
This is a great strain to just relax and chill out at home. Very good if you're trying to function.
Very different experience smoking Harlequin. I love the feeling and I love the pain relief.
*I recommend to try and get this strain at a 1:1 ratio (THC: CBD), like I did (or as close to it).
My husband and I both have c-PTSD, and I have insulin resistance/PCOS. Inflammation is a huge issue for us, as is anxiety. A bud tender introduced us to Sunday Extracts' 510 carts of this strain in Oklahoma. It's an amazing strain for both day and night. A little bit relieves anxiety and pain but leaves you able to think and work. A lot gives you a classic, 90s-feeling high that's great for watching a movie and unwinding.
