Grew this strain from ILGM. Smells amazing, fruity like a grape. Nice and relaxing body high.
I nicknamed this strain "The Cure" because of the pain and stress relieving effects. I grew from ILGM seeds last year and just ordered more for an indoor grow. The taste is nice with a hint of pine, diesel and a tad sweet. The cerebral effects are a nice high that is great for chilling to any form of entertainment. If I indulge in the afternoon, I need to keep moving or find a hammock. The effects on the body are very impressive. Sitting in my recliner, I just let the relaxing begin. I can feel the stress and tension of the day melt away. i have arthritic knees that get angry when I'm on them too long during the day. After a few vapes of Gold Leaf I don't notice the pain anymore. My recipe is 3-4 good sips from my dry flower vape at 400-410 degrees. Within 2 hours it is sleepy time and I have a relaxing and pain-free night of sleep. Thus, the "cure" moniker. It was an easy grow, with a 10 week flowering time indoors. The alpha plant produced 3 oz of nice bud and a bunch of trim and smaller nugs for baking. This stuff makes an excellent cookie if you want to chill out. I made a 50/50 batch of snickerdoodles mixing in Blue Dream that was a hit with everyone I shared with. Have some healthy snacks around for when the munchies hit.
This strain did exactly what I needed it to do, relaxing, relieved my anxiety and pain, caused a mild case of the munchies, the morning after I felt refreshed and well rested unlike some strains that leave me feeling sluggish and kinda hung over.
Great strain to grow and smoke. It’s made my top 10 weeds to forever grow and smoke. Hats off to ILGM for crossing Cornbread x Mendocino Purps = GOLD LEAF.. You probably can’t get Mendocino Purps anymore Seeing Jaleel White has bought the strain and rebranded it Purple Urkle.. The people who created Mendocino Purps deserve the credit because this is one of the best Purps I have ever had. Cornbread I believe comes from Amsterdam area but I do not know the exact area. The 2 crossed strains is hearty produces a great yield smells fantastic and a great high which lasts for hours..
Grew this strain from ILGM. I like it! Has a sativa effect for me as long as you don't overtoke it too much. A sativa bud structure. Made very nice 10" colas...very productive plant. Moderately easy to grow. My plants produced a very peppery/ spicy smell and the smoke it kinda peppery..piney...eathy taste. I am gonna be honest it not the best tasting MJ out there but a good high and good times happen when partaking of the gold leaf. Cheers

This strain has a bit of a fruity taste, the buds gives off a nice strong earthy aroma which corresponds to when lighting one up! very strong heavy headed effects which just knocks you into the couch with a bowl full of twisties

My husband is an amputee & suffers tremendously with phantom pain.
This strain helps him tremendously with that type of pain. Also good for back pain as well.
It also helps lift your mood & is relaxing but calming. If you smoke a lot you will definitely feel the couch lock & it will make you sleepy after you have smoked a few times.
