She grows and stretches high!! So beautiful to watch grow and the leafs turned purple. Smells earthy and tastes good. Smooth and terpy
Really enjoying the head change on this strain, takes away some of my pain symptoms.
I use this as a concentrate because Florida has limited flower strains at this time.
A little tricky the first couple of times out, so for all you first timers here's what I learned.
I am not rich but frugal and shopped for a battery that would be the most affordable with the most advanced algorithm. Vumer Pulse. I also purchased the globe accessory (they are all gone now) , so I guess a dab rig would be next in line. Got the concentrate at my local dispensary (Trulieve) along with some Blue River rosin (GC) to try both. First thing to remember is concentrate is thick as hell and twice as sticky.
Second is vape temp or volts. I soaked the syringe in warm water for about a minute and it was still too thick. Nobody seems to know how to explain you use anything (bud tenders here), so I thought the highest temp was right, wrong!!!!!! Burnt up all the terpenes and my throat as well.
Now here's what next although I could have found it online, I guess. I took a coffee cup and heated water for 45 seconds, don't care what they say about warm, put the syringe plunger down to the tip base and watched the concentrate till it started to just liquefy. Put a small drop on the coils and let the Pulse set the voltage 2.7. Perfect sweet mild hit. Not a lot of vapor but the result was fine and I like it now.
Strong when it comes to pain relief with a feeling of warmth & comfort moving down body in waves. The taste is very nice reminding of warm leather, diesel & skunk a very sensual combination. On the back of a motorcycle with head nestled into armpit of the leather jacket of driver with wind whipping through hair. Both the taste & the buzz match in a euphoric laid back vibe. The smell of this strain is not so smooth, but instead sharp, super heady, with pine/diesel being main culprits. Seems like the only time sativa genetics are noticed is when smelling this flower. After feeling the full "entourage effect" there is a full on indica high that is similar to opiates in the wavelike numbing of mind & body. Without the nasty side effects that prescription painkillers bring with them Dogwalker.....
Guess this is a good time to bring this up =) Personally love this strain having enjoyed at least seven different versions grown by different folks. Never seen it with the "OG" on the end. Knowing of the Kush lineage in both of the parents it totally makes sense so am sure it's the same strain. Just seemed worthy of noting......
HAHAHA, went back looking again with 3 of them having "OG" on the label. Stoner moment......
Excellent, unique taste with a terpene profile that hits the nose & tongue differently for a little pizzazz.
After this little fascination of the senses subsides be ready to settle into rest and relaxation.
I liked this strain. I think it's more indica than sativa. This make you sleepy. I would like this after a hard day working or if I couldn't sleep. But I'm a sativa guy
Earthy is right on. (as described in Leafly ). Not my favorite smoke. 25.3% THC makes up for the harsh flavor and smoke. nice calming and relaxing at first. If I smoke too much I can get kinda hyper/talkative. Quality bud. I'd actually give 4.5 stars, but I cant do that.
I use this as a daytime strain. It makes me hungry, gives a little bit of energy but not too overpowering. It helps a little bit with my pain too.
smooth draw from the cartridge, didn't have overwhelming flavor that some have. easy and comfortable inhale didn't make me cough or feel like "too much". transitioning into the side effects felt steady and calm making for a nice buzz. for a short (2-3 second) draw it lasted maybe an hour or so, and increase consistently with larger doses but never became overwhelming or panicky
