The original cuts from 2003 until around 2009, produced some of the stankiest flower ever. Sadly that original cut seems to be long gone. Anything seen/smoked today is deathstar2.0. Every person in the last 10 years to tell me/show me what they claim to be “original Ohio Deathstar” have been greatly mistaken.

I take this a bit before bedtime to aid with MS complication that effect sleep. I use a Pax to administer. It leaves you very relaxed but not dizzy or loopy. Too much can produce couch lock but that's pretty much what I'm going for. I sleep through the night for the first time in years. I wake refreshed and rested. It also helps with some PTSD issues. My only drawback is that it does dry your eyes making them heavy but again I'm looking to sleep so not a problem.
I have serious combat related PTSD. When I get hyper-vigilant and the mess kicks in- I smoke a bowl of DS and an hour later I’m a GD sea turtle cruising the space/time continuum. #ITSALWAYSSUNNY
Death Star is a great "go to" strain for help falling asleep. Sometimes I have a hard time getting my brain to shut up so I can fall asleep. I hit this and was playing video games waiting for it to kick in.... then 10 minutes later... WHAM!! hit me like a freight train, and then I couldn't keep my eyes open. Had a beautiful restful night of sleep. Woke up this morning refreshed! Awesome flower!! Rate this an 8 out of 10.
A great high, super relaxing! I get a bit spacey and I love it. Perfect for late night, don't expect to do much after smoking this.

not only is this the perfect pain killer for things like periods, headaches, cramping. its also dumb potent and tasty af. its also the strongest weed in terms of smell ive ever purchased. 1 small gram stunk up my whole car. its also super sticky, so really good for rollin or bowlin but its best to have a grinder, picking it apart is difficult and a waste of all that sticky icky. all in all excellent high! perfect for a saturday night with my friends
As a StarWars fan I was already super excited to try this when I heard about it. After tasting it the last few days it has definitely become my favorite.
I'm a VERY active person, not like sports I just can't be still. I have to be moving something slightly. Now I enjoy being able to relax while high, but I don't like to get knocked out and not able to move. This weed removes all of my back pain and makes me feel great. It relaxes me completely (unless driving then I become highly anxious) but doesn't knock me out at first, so I can still get up and do little things around the house or with the critters. Granted it's really slow, chill little things, but anything is better then nothing. Then if I don't keep moving it does put me straight to sleep.
The only other complaints I have are that it gives TERRIBLE cotton mouth and eye and it makes my more paranoid about smoking. I don't really see it as a bad thing though cus I would definitely rather high(er) me be extra careful rather than caught. It's not over powering, just I have to spray the Fabreeze and air out a few more times.
Death Star is definitely one of my favorite indicas. Big chunky buds with a sweet after taste, possibly a hint of berry but I can't put my finger on it... Definitely used as my bedtime bud but you can still function if used in the day. It really relaxes my muscles to the point of uselessness so I prefer night time use. Great strain and a must have.
